Just one more 5-star, positive review for Montreal PC support!
As with other satisfied customers here, my laptop died in the middle of pressing work-related issues. I identified a number of potential options across Montreal on Google, and after carefully reading all the comments, I decided to go with Montreal PC Support.
I was genuinely surprised by their customer service, attention to detail, and continuous follow up by phone and text messages (you can also check for updates via their webpage). Their price is also superb!
Moe, my assigned technician, was super courteous since the beginning and continuously provided me with information on the various problems he was identifying, along with the tests that he would be running to identify/discard the root cause of the problem.
Once all tests were done, including their buying of a screen to test my specific brand/model of laptop, they told me what parts were needed and the corresponding costs. They also advised me on what was my best option considering the extent of the repairs needed.
They were very quick, super efficient, and transparent all along the way. I'll definitively will go back to them if the need arises. I highly recommend their services.

En novembre 2022 le macbook pro de ma fille, étudiante Française, s'éteint brutalement, en plein partiel. Vent de panique et de fort stress, on recherche un réparateur sur Montréal (je suis en France).
Accueil moyen.elle décrit les symptômes et laisse sa machine avec quelques espoirs.
Deux jours plus tard, le verdict tombe: le SSD est HS! Le Mac est donc mort, ah oui cent et quelques dollards de devis.
Achat d'un nouveau MAC, dépense forcément bienvenue quand le budget est serré pour une étudiante.
En vacances pour aller la voir en juillet, je ramène la dépouille dans l'idée de le réparer par un échange du DD.
Absolument aucune mise en route possible. Un disque dur HS n'interdit pas le boot de démarrage.
Soupçon d'alimentation, sachant que la batterie avait été remplacée trois mois auparavant. Parfois l'allumage intempestif des voyants sur le connecteur de charge.
L' investigation m'amène à fortement incriminer le magsafe: démontage des deux connecteurs, soufflage puis remontage.et là, miracle le MAC redémarre avec une batterie à 0% mais qui se recharge et qui re fonctionne normalement depuis.
Conclusion: Plus de 1300 $ dépensés pour rien.

Ian and his colleagues at Montreal PC Support were fantastic! They fixed the screen of my HP laptop (which somehow popped out of its plastic frame) in less than 48 hours and at a reasonable price. Helpful, friendly, and efficient. I appreciated also the weekend hours. Will definitely go back for future laptop repairs!

"Service professionnel pour moi comme pauvre étudiant. En plus, j'ai reçu plusieurs sessions de consultation consécutives les semaines suivantes sans frais supplémentaires. Je donne également cinq étoiles pour l'employé avec qui j'ai travaillé chaque weekend. Admettant ses limites en anglais, tout comme mon français n'est pas sans faille, nous avons toujours fini par les dialogues intéressants. Un endroit technique pour retrouver un peu du sentiment d'humanité et de vie! "

La réparation de mon Dell XPS (>3k$) à été parfaitement réaliser. La réparation était particulièrement complexe donc bravo au staff.

Excellent customer service! Came the same day to fix my computer, paid a super small incentive to do it the same day and everything was back on track. Moh was super helpful and cooperative with me, would come back!

Great place. I'm very much pleased with it, they got professional and friendly service.
I had severe heating issues with my laptop (average +60°C) while doing nothing, and it would always shut down (reaches 100°C) when I tried to do pretty much anything.
Then I came here. I got it fixed in 1 day, and since then, the average temp dropped to a 44°C, and it never overheated again, even if I play video games with it.
10/10.
