Un immense centre commercial où se mêlent des magasins de vêtements, de cosmétiques de nourriture en tout genre. Au moins 3 étages où les gens ressemblent à des fourmis qui s'activent.
Endroit génial a découvrir. Le parcours est immense. C'est le lieu idéal pendant les tempête de neige ou jour pluvieux. Des heures et des heures de découverte. Ils y a de tout
Based on the current economy in Canada, surely not a place to visit. 60%+ stores are closed. Remaining 40%, staff is more than customers. Quite a dead underground city that I visited last few times in three years trying to take my chance.
Under the city, under St. Catherine Ave: another city that moves and wakes up every day: with shops, hotel lobbies, transportation: far from the snow and cold of the city in winter: something incredible and seemingly endless. It is mandatory to immerse yourself in it and get to know it, walk it, discover it: it is there for all of us.
Good on a cold wet day to get indoors. However difficult to find your way along a maze of corridors. We eventually found the store we wanted but had trouble finding our way back, as we ended up exiting by a different entrance / exit door. But once outside we could use GPS to find where we wanted to go. I think possibly we could have walked underground but directions/ maps are scarce and it was easier just to come out.
It's a network of underground shops and public transportation in Montreal. If you're adventurous and have the time, go ahead and explore In our experience, we took the Desjardins entrance and got out the Chinatown exit, to avoid the cool autumn breeze.
Although it was a very long time ago that I was in Montreal, and used the underground "mall", and walk way.it was a great experience. This keeps you safe and out of the cold and snow. Along with access to shopping and restaurants. And, a hidden benefit, the streets seemed to be less crowded during the winter due to weather and folks using the underground.this give you a great opportunity to take beautiful photos of the places above with the winter wonderland in full effect. I love Montreal, and with some planning along with trying to learn a little French to use.the local will warm up to you. Go see this beautiful city, and part of our world.
Just underground shopping. Maybe it's because I had too high expectations haha. It's definitely cleaner and more worth seeing than Vancouver. But maybe it's because I've been to a lot of places, so it's just like that lol.
