Motel Au Fleuve D'Argent

Amazing view in what feels at the edge of a small town. The rooms are large, comfortable and big enough to fit us, two dogs and a baby.

Beautiful location on the river. Service was good, we called ahead that day and because they were short staffed, we arrived after the staff had left for the day. (6pm ish) so they left our cabin key out for us
The bathroom light was burnt out, and as there was no one to call, we had to use our flashlights.
And the bedding did not seem clean and there were no extra blankets or towels

We have stayed at this wonderful, quiet, pet friendly motel on the river twice on our travels back and forth from Ontario to Nova Scotia. If you are making the trip from the Toronto area with one overnight stop, it's a great midway point!
Customer service is excellent - both times booking on the phone and when we checked in, we dealt with the same extremely pleasant bilingual young man (sorry I don't know his name).
We stayed in the main motel section both times but they also have lovely cabins that line each side of the motel, all with balconies facing the river.
Our room both times was clean, VERY spacious and the beds very comfortable. Each motel room has a private balcony with sliding glass door overlooking the spacious beautifully landscaped grounds and the river.
We will definitely stay here again! I would recommend reserving in advance as it seems to be a popular spot.
P. S. - Both times we stayed here we ordered Pizza online from Pizza Salvatore. It is delicious and arrives piping hot and very quickly! Highly recommend!

Everything you need including space to walk around, full kitchen and porch chairs. A bit dated (like a family cottage) but clean and comfortable.

Un séjour qui a passé malheureusement trop vite. Nous y avons passé 5 nuits dans un chalet avec nos deux golden retrievers. L’emplacement est superbe, les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse remarquable. Notre chalet avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour un séjour confortable. Propreté exemplaire, lits confortables et que dire des coucher de soleil! L’emplacement est idéal pour des familles avec des enfants car il y a plusieurs modules de jeux, un immense terrain gazonné. Merci Monsieur et Madame pour votre accueil. Cette découverte est un coup de cœur pour nous!

On ne se contera pas d'histoire, les chalets 2 chambres son petits. Nous étions 4 adultes et 1 enfant et on se marchait sur les pieds. Cependant nous avions du très beau temps à l'extérieur et n'avions pas planifié faire plus que dormir et se laver au chalet.
La vu est magnifique et il y a beaucoup d'espace et de jeu extérieur pour les enfants.
Le personnel est amical.
C'est certain qu'à 4 c'est très économique, mais le confort diminue. À vous de voir.
Bon séjour

Première fois pour moi a Rivière du Loup. Nous avons rester dans un des chalets bien équipée avec une cuisine complète. La vue étais superbe. Malheureusement le lit n'étais pas très confortable pour deux personnes car le matelas sera a changé. Mais nous allons y retourner ce sure.

Vraiment un bel endroit tout ce qui manquait c'est la chaleur et le, c'est vraiment propre et bien, le site est vraiment beau

Horrible service and cabins. They are super small and need to be refreshed. The location is good and would be great if it was in a different part of Riviere du loup. No amenities, no extra blankets, pillows etc. Very disappointed and it's not worth $200 per night. I think a person shouldn't pay any more than $75 per night. Very disappointed

Motel très agréable, tranquil. La vue est incroyablement superbe, vue sur l eau. Ont dirait un mélange de camping/motel.
Une très grande cours commune avec chaises longue et la possibilité de faire un feu gratuitement!
Du jamais vue wow! Je recommande fortement.

Five stars for beautiful view of river, each motel room has a lovely little balcony with table for two with sunset view of St Lawrence. Big green space for walking dog between hotel and river, just don’t get too near cliff as there is no fence. Bathroom slightly dated but fine. Very firm but comfortable bed. Friendly staff. IGA nearby and you can pick up excellent pizza at Pizza Salvatore.

Pour notre voyage en Gaspésie j ai réservé ce motel à l allé et au retour. Je n ai pas eu la chambre que j avais demandé, réservation faite pourtant il y a 4 mois. De plus sur le retour dans la même petite chambre il y avait un cerne jaune sur le drap donc lit n a pas été changé après le dernier client. Je ne recommande pas. Seul point positif c est l emplacement

Très mauvaise gestion quant au fait de louer une partie du terrain pour des festivités extérieures avec chapiteau.et tout le tintamarre de la musique assourdissante en soirée! Pour qui veut du repos c'est un très mauvais choix.manque de transparence envers la clientèle au moment de la location.la police a dû intervenir! Propreté minimale.par contre la vue est imprenable.dernière visite pour moi!

C’est un mélange de camping et motel, il y a une très grande cours commune avec même la possible de faire une feu gratuitement! J’ai jamais vue ça dans un motel/hotel! + je recommande, surtout en famille ou si vous avez des animaux, car ils sont permis!

Every room has a beautiful little balcony in the back where you can sit and have your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The rooms are very clean, small but we’ll appointed with everything you need.

Quel déception. Petit chalet sans tout blanc, aucune déco où l'on a peu envie de s'asseoir sur le mobilier. Par contre la lingerie est propre ainsi que la douche. Juste derrière, un condo de plusieurs étages en construction ou dès 6h30 des travailleurs s'installe pour le boulot.
Vue l'heure tardive de notre arrivée, 19h00, un nous a avisé par téléphone que la clé serait à un certain endroit. Donc aucun détail sur le service.

Very clean. Was very helpful as place was not open for season. They where starting to get ready for season let us have a room that was all ready set up great view from room and we'll looked after. Great rates too
