Motel Au Vieux Piloteux

On our way driving back to Fredericton from Montreal we decided to stop and spend the night. Most hotels were booked but we found this one that had rooms available. This hotel is a hidden gem, I am not sure why the low rating. The rooms were very large with two queen beds, microwave, safe, fridge and large TV. The bathroom was equally as large along with a great shower. Very comfortable beds, the rooms were clean and the service very friendly. Would certainly recommend and would stay there again.

Emplacement un peu douteux notre chambre est derriere le motel vue sur un mega bloc appartement tres éclairé
Minuit on se fait solidement réveiller par des gens qui habite le haut du motel
Bébé qui hurle, piochement de gens qui marchent sans arret, téléphone qui sonne, on les entend parler.
Pour le prix ca vaux absolument pas le détour.

Propriétaire pas du tout accomodant pour une erreur de leur part au niveau de la chambre. J'ai du me faire rembourser et aller ailleurs. De plus, sur le site il dise qu'on a une belle vue sur le fleuve, c'est pas vrai du tout. Très très déçue.

Clean but dated motel.
The bed was comfortable. We just stayed overnight on our way to Montreal. They spoke English at the front desk.

Rooms were modern, very clean and smelt fresh. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet place to stay away from the highway.
Service was very friendly.

The room was updated, clean and very nice bathroom. However, the room had weird smell, as if they didn't open windows for a while. The parking didn't feel safe it is too clear to street but nothing happened to our car.

Very modern and clean rooms the bed was very comfortable but pillows are too thin even with 2. I wouldn't give it a 4 stars motel though a 3 yes. In the room there was an unfinished part on the wall. They do have a blu-ray a microwave and a keurig coffee machine. The man at reception was a little weird.

Family- run business.pride of ownership and friendly staff. They made us feel welcome and all were cheerful. Room was small, as was the bed, but it was clean. The mattress was in a protector, which was a welcome bonus.

Best shower in a hotel in Canada yet.highest showerhead I've ever seen in a hotel or motel. I'm not tall but most showerheads are only 5.5' high.

When they say check in ends at 11, they mean it. But very, very quick check in and check out.

Great value for the price. We would stay here again.

After a day of driving, it was nice to stop at a motel that was clean and very comfortable. We had a great night sleep, ready for another day's drive. That being said, there was a couple of businesses in the area that was quite upset that we could not speak French.

N'allez pas la! Propriétaire ment sur ses prix, l'endroit sent la cigarette, les lits sont sales! Je déconseille, aller en face a place c'est beaucoup mieux pour le même prix lol

Endroit facile d'accès et correct! Il ne manquait de rien dans la chambre 3. Matelas lit double inconfortable.

I do NOT recommend staying here if you’re from out of province! My car was vandalized. There was a screw intentionally on the side face of my tire (not run over on my drive) When I called the hotel to inform them what happened, they didn’t seem to care at all, and insisted that it must of been. If you’re not French they treat you very differently and you’re a target. My wife has to call because the older guy working did not try and understand me while checking in.

Très belle chambre, bien rénové et propre et le monsieur est très gentil je conseille fortement cette hôtel!

La chambre était spacieuse et au goût du jour. La salle de bain comporte une grande douche vitrée. Frigo, micro-ondes, cafetière, seau à glace et 2 coupes étaient à notre disposition.
Vraiment très bien!

Nous nous attendions à une chambre rénovée, comme montré sur leur site internet, mais nous avons eu droit à une chambre non rénovée qui sentait le vieux tapis et impossible de se connecter à internet, même si le propriétaire nous affirmait que ça fonctionnait; nous étions capable de nous connecter seulement près de la réception.

I liked my great experience here because your rooms and your lobby are very well maintained, your personnel and your owner is friendly, welcoming and attentive, but some staff apeaking English when i went here and this place have a swimming pool and some electric car charging stations.

Very clean, spacious and comfy with friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t like was the door to the room - flimsy horizontal blinds that didn’t help darken the room.

Older property but very well maintained. Priced well for the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. AC is individual window shakers but mine is quite quiet.

Wet carpet inside the door, odour in the room, heard scrapping of chair above the room while trying to get to sleep, walls so thin that the conversation could be heard. Anyone thinking of staying in this hotel, DON’T do it! Pricey for what this place offers.

Clean. The owner was very helpful and kind. We arrived around 2am. They served u with kindness and help. I'll come back here in my next road trip to this area

The owner was incredibly accommodating to my family who arrived at 2am on a road trip without a booking. He was quick to help us in getting a room set up and was welcoming to our dog for a cheap fee of 10$! Rooms were clean and appropriate. Great stay! Would recommend to anyone passing through.

The location was good, and the room was nice. Staff did not speak a word of English, which was a challenge to check in and out. The noise level was high from the reception room and the upper floor
