Motel Beau-Lieu

By far this was the best room and beds of 5 we’ve stayed at going to/from Nova Scotia/Ontario. Pet friendly and welcomed by their dog, who helped tire ours out playing in the morning before our long drive home. The new owners (Natalie) super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

My wife and I spent four nights at this facility beginning on August 24th 2023 while visiting friends in the area. It seems the motel changed hands recently but the new owner, a very nice lady, was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure everything was to our full satisfaction. Rooms are small and sound-proofing is non-existent. Bathrooms, without ventilators, are well-lit with small sinks but nice, modern, large bathtubs/shower combos. There’s WIFI and there are USB charge ports on the night stands. Parking is ample and the motel is conveniently situated in Témiscouata-sur-le-lac’s Cabano district, on a road bordering Autoroute 85, with the closest exit, Exit 40, being less than a kilometre away. There’s no dining on site but there’s a Mike’s Restaurant next door, perfect for breakfast. I can’t be sure as I did not discuss this with the owner but I believe this is a pet-friendly motel which might be a consideration for those traveling with dogs. Overall, ours was a rather pleasant experience.

Mon épouse et moi avons passé quatre nuits à cet établissement à partir du 24 août 2023 alors que nous étions en visite chez des amis. Il semble que le motel a été vendu récemment mais la nouvelle propriétaire, une dame fort gentille, a été vraiment aux petits soins avec nous et s’est assurée de notre entière satisfaction. Les chambres sont petites et mal insonorisées. Les salles de bain, sans ventilateurs, sont bien éclairées, les éviers petits mais les baignoires/douches, modernes et de bonne dimension. Il y a du WIFI et des prises USB sur les tables de nuit. Le stationnement est grand et le motel bien situé dans le district Cabano de Témiscouata-sur-le-lac, sur une voie qui longe l’autoroute 85, à moins d’un kilometre de la sortie 40. Pas de resto sur place mais un Mike’s se trouve juste à côté, idéal pour déjeuner. Je n’en ai pas discuté avec la propriétaire, mais je crois que les animaux familiers sont admis au motel, avis aux proprios de chiens. Somme toute, notre expérience à ce motel fut plutôt agréable.

Chambres très propre, lit très confortable, bien situé sur le bord de l'autoroute et on très bien acceuilli.

While traveling we stayed here very nice rooms. Expensive. 1 queen bed. Fridge microwave coffee pot. The pillows need changing not very comfortable.

Nous sommes arrêtés là le 26 juillet 2023, la propriétaire a été très accueillante sympathique et accommodante, motel très propres, les nouveaux propriétaires sont à améliorer les lieux.bravo

Such friendly and welcoming service. Very clean room. Right off the highway. They were so accommodating for our dog and late arrival. Will stay again.

Dès notre arrivée, la propriétaire s'est avérée assez aggressive dans ses propos en haussant le ton inutilement. L'air climatisé fonctionnait à moitié, il y avait de la moisissure couvert par la peinture dans la salle de bain et les lits étaient durs avec des taches plus que douteuses sur les draps. La dernière journée nous étions sur le point de partir et à 11h02 on a vargé dans la porte encore une fois sans aucune décence. On nous a fait comprendre avec aggressivité que nous devions "décrisser au plus criss". En bref, si vous avez moindrement de budget et surtout d'autres options, n'hésitez pas à choisir une option plus agréable!

Nous avons séjournés au motel avec notre chienne. Et oui! Enfin un motel qui accepte les chiens et chats. Chambre propre rien a dire. Propriétaires très gentils et ils ont pris le temps malgré notre arrivé tardive. Oreiller supplémentaire et glace dans la chambre trèès apprécié.
Informations sur les environs et les activités ont aussi été sympatique d'avoir en tant que nouveaux arrivants dans la région.

From start to us leaving the experience was very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend it to my family and friends.

Lovely lady on the front desk. Very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but very clean and well stocked. Good value.

La chambre était propre, le propriétaire est très gentille. Le prix abordable. Le Wifi était faible et un peu d'odeur de moisissure était présent dans la chambre.

Clean, quiet and super convenient as it's right off the highway. The town is also lovely as we sauntered through with our dog on foot.

Perfect spot to stop for me while travelling between Toronto and the east coast. Good value, easy check-in and clean room! Only two minute drive off the highway and there’s a Mike’s Restaurant right next door.

Ideally located off the highway for a stopover. Everything was clean. You can hear every word, every step and every movement from the neighboring rooms. You could just leave the walls out. Bed way too soft for my taste.

Was great after 12hrs in a car. Right off the highway. Loved it soo much we stayed again on way back from P. E. I a month later. Will definitely be back in couple of months!
