Motel Le Marigot

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Marigot, and I can't say enough about what a delightful experience it was! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the rest of my stay.

The location of Le Marigot is simply unbeatable. Nestled by the water, the views are breathtaking. I enjoyed waking up to the gentle sounds of the waves and sipping my morning coffee while taking in the serene atmosphere. It truly felt like a hidden gem, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The rooms at Le Marigot are not only tastefully decorated but also incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail is evident, and it's clear that the staff takes pride in ensuring guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the cleanliness was impeccable.

Je qualifierais l'experience de moyenne! J'avais loué la suite et il y avait certains problèmes: le débit d'eau est nettement insuffisant dans la douche, absence de shampoing, climatisation efficace mais très bruyante, légère odeur de renfermé. Elle possède toutefois une cuisinette qui est très pratique et l'espace est suffisant.

I booked my brother into this motel for a five night stay because of overflow of guests at our house. First issue was charging credit card for entire stay upon checkin. On the third night I asked to cancel the final day. They would not refund me the last day and were very inflexible and actually kind of rude. The rooms and amenities are below the standards of even a two star hotel. I would not put guests into this place again.

Excellent location, clean, friendly, a gem in Vaudreuil. Highly recommended and pet friendly.

Bon accueil. J’ai réservé pour 2 lits mais aucun disponible à l’arrivée, les personnes ne voulaient pas partir. La robinetterie de la douche fonctionne très mal. Le lit trop mou. Très propre. Les murs sont minces on entend les voisins.

Staff was nice, room was great. Little kitchenette with sitting space was great after a 10+ hours of driving. Bed was just a little hard but still comfortable. The tub was one of the best I've soaked in. Value was definitely there for our family of 4. Will make sure to put this place on a definite place to stop!

I was at the motel for 2 nights, I had two different rooms (I hadn't planned on staying an extra night). The rooms were very clean but very small, the smallest room I have ever been (you pretty much only have 2ft of space around the bed). The rooms I comes with a small fridge and a microwave. They allow dogs, I have a 3lbs chihuahua, the lack of space wasn't an issue. Some rooms seem to be renovated and some not. The motel and it's surrounding is pretty and shopping with every stores you can think of is just down the road which is convenient.

I've been living in Ontario for 30 years but grew up in that town. The whole area is quite charming in fact.

Home away from home is the best way I can describe our stays at the Marigot. Management took care of us with all our needs. The rooms are extra clean with attention on many details. And for the price, at least around this area, you truly get your money's worth. Whether you wish to get away for the weekend or extend your stay during the week, I would highly recommend that you consider staying at this Motel.

Great rooms and affordable price. Owner is very kind and friendly. Nice place to stay with your furry friends.

Pet friendly is what got me here while having exterminators push us out of our home temporarily.

The owners and staff were very helpful, and the kitchenette suite was very convenient and clean. They provided everything we needed. The room was very quiet and the beds were very very comfortable. Highly recommend.

L'acceuil.est amicale et la chambre que j'occupais les 2 fois (pour 5 jours) où j'y suis allé était très propre et confortable.
J'étais dans la suite #1 qui est la plus près de la rivière.
Je conte y retourner en septembre pour y suivre en toute tranquilité les 3 formations virtuels que mon travail exige.
En ce qui me concerne j'ai trouvé que la vue sur le bord de l'eau était appaisante et l'accès (5 minutes) aux restaurations, Tim et IGA étaient très accomodante dans ma situation.

Les chambres sont petites et elles auraient besoin d'une mise à jour (modernisation et gestion de l'humidité surtout!)
Sinon pour une nuit, c'était très correct. Le personnel est agréable et courtois. Très calme comme endroit!

Very good place for touring cyclists to stop for the night. Another 2 km into town for your dinner and breakfast. Rooms are very clean and friendly service. The internet was a bit spotty.

Une belle chambre, propre, air climatisé, frigo et micro-ondes et DROIT AU ANIMAUX! J'étais en compétition canine et j'ai eu la chance d'avoir une chambre la journée même. Pour un petit budget c'est un bel endroit j'Ai très bien dormi. L'homme a qui j'ai parlé était très sympathique et aimable. J'y retournerai pour les prochains DogShows. J'aime bien ma chambre 14 héhé.

I stayed as a guest, reservation was not under my name. We stayed in room 7, the air conditioner barely worked and was very loud, the water pressure or therefore lack of in the shower, it basically dripped on you and sometimes stopped running, and there was a musty smell in the room. I know it is a motel, 2 star rating, but not worth the price for what you get. We've stayed there in the past and it was a little better, posssibly changed owners?

Excellent friendly staff. Motel well situated for cyclists intending to cycle the Soulange Canal. Room comfortable, but a bit small when you need to share it with your bike.

Very accommodating and friendly hosts in a nice and quiet setting across from a river road with a good place to take our dog for a walk. Backs on a piece of parkland as well.

Staff was awesome. Accommodated us for a very late check-in and arranged that we got a key. (Smaller establishment with no-front desk after hours). Had AC, nice bathroom, and an ok bed.

These units are small, and you get what you pay for. If you have proper expectations, this is a great option for the budget minded.

The staff was very friendly, and the location was conveniently close to town. The rooms however were not cleaned well seeing as we found an old pair of shoes and a water bottle under the bed. The water smelled disgusting, making it hard to wash hands, brush teeth, shower, etc. And the beds could not be properly locked in place which resulted in the bed rolling across the room every time someone touched it.

Je suis resté dans la suite numéro 1, c'était superbe! Le lit était confo, chambre propre et prix abordable. Bon service, nouveau gérant très amical.

We booked a room a month earlier, the guy that answers the phone took my info (name, phone number and credit card number). I arrive to the motel at 8 pm from a long 6 hours trip, I am tired and the dogs too. We have a competition the next morning so we can't wait to settle down to be in shape the next morning. Everything in the building seems closed but I still ring the bell: no answers.
Nobody's there to welcome us, so I call the number and the same guy that took the reservation answered.
I say we are arrived and ready to take our room and I give my name. He says he has not my name and cannot give me a room. I explain that I did my reservation a month ago and that we traveled a long way and needed a place to stay with the dogs, but he says he can't do nothing for us.
He NEVER TRIED to make up for his horrible mistake and here we are with nowhere to go in an unknown town.
The guy didn't even speak french and wasn't even at the motel at 8 pm. He is not competent at all. Worse motel of them all. If you don't want to travel and maybe don't have a place to stay because they lost your reservation, do not call them.

Très vieux, pas rénové, pas très propre non plus. Clairement l'endroit n'est pas entretenu. L'accueil était fermé à clé à notre arrivée et personne à la réception. Pas cher mais ne vaut pas plus.
