Motel le Martinet

Nice and cute. Breakfast included which was quite good. Not a culinary experience for sure, but, you have the necessary options for breakfast. The motel is located in the town of la pocatière which is a nice small city. The downtown has a particular sharm with some historical buildings. Overall, I would recommend it and would like to return back. No luxury in the rooms, however, it's nice, clean and you have what you need (fridge, microwave, keurig coffee maker, and a nice shower system).

Très beau motel. Chambre spacieuse, super propre, personnel courtois et bon déjeuner. Un seul petit point négatif: dommage que l’éclairage blanc glacial des chambres donne plus l’impression de passer une soirée dans la salle d’attente d’un hôpital plutôt que dans une confortable chambre d’hôtel (ce qu’elles sont, malgré tout).

Not a new motel but have made considerable upgrades. But no carpets! Awesome for allergies. Comfy beds and pillows. Very nice breakfast, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagel cold hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit salad, home made banana bread, muffins, tea, coffee, yogurt, nice pastries, juices. Desk is AWESOME, super nice. Accommodated our 25 foot trailer. Very dog friendly. Ask for lower rooms which go straight out to grass for your furbaby. Easy on/off to highway.

The room was big and very clean. TV was crisp and clear. Nestled off the highway so very peaceful
Only complaint is the floors are thin so staying on top floor is recommended. We could hear the people walking above us till late at night, so that's the only reason our sleep was hindered.
Will definitely stay here again!

One night stay on the east coast trip and this is beyond my expectations. Clean rooms, nice shower, beds are comfortable. The front desk lady is friendly, they have a great spread for continental breakfast. A great stay! There are also restaurants nearby within a short driving distance.

Accueil toujours chaleureux. Bien que le bâtiment ait quelques années, les propriétaires sont en pleine période d’investissement. Les chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses pour le confort d’une à quatre personnes. Pour La Pocatière, c’est le Motel que je recommande.

J'avais la chambre de devant de style loft. C'est très joli et le décor est moderne, mais la porte de chambre aurait besoin d'être changée pour une porte mieux isolée Malheureusement, elle est quasiment en carton, laissant filtrer tous les bruits provenant de la réception à quelques pas. Idem pour les fenêtres qui laissent passer le froid et le bruit. Bref, chambre à éviter si vous voulez vous reposer. Il y aurait lieu de monter le chauffage quand la chambre est réservée afin d'avoir une température confortable à l'arrivée. Ma chambre était à 18 degré en plein mois de janvier et cela a pris un bon 2 heures à réchauffer. Pour le déjeuner gratuit, ça compense pour le reste.

Chambre propre et spacieuse. La personne à la réception était très gentille. Petit déjeuner continental très correct pour le prix et dans une belle verrière. J'ai vu pire ailleurs.

Small, renovated hotel with friendly staff and the owner is often on the premises. The view is nothing great but the rooms are cozy and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. We booked 4 nights and stayed an extra night so we were able to really appreciate the housekeeping. With continental breakfast included, this hotel is a very good choice. Surprisingly good hotel. Large rooms, 2 comfortable queen sized beds with really nice sheets. Ample space for a family of four. Breakfast is a bit lacking in hot foods compared to larger hotel chains, but is decent. Really nice baked goods, cereal, juice, and the bread is individually wrapped for safety.

J'ai connu l'ancien Martinet et le moment où il était à vendre. Je constate que depuis quelques années, les nouveaux propriétaires ont fait beaucoup de rénovation. En particulier, les 2 lofts. Je recommande aux visiteurs de louer un loft. Ce sont de beaux appartement bien rénové: Cuisine, Salon, Chambre à aire ouverte, peignoir, vers, ustensiles, sofa, télé, etc, etc.

Very clean, great service and beautiful rooms. A gem not to miss. Thank you to the staff. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Vraiment beau Motel, propreté exemplaire, très accueillant et en plus ils utilisent les produits Pure en vrac pour les savons et shampoing donc aucuns gaspillage de bouteilles vides ou plastique! Belle initiative!
