Motel Le Pocatois

I do not recommend. It is over priced for a motel. They don't speak any English, the AC was not working, the room and hallway smelled like fish, the phone, tv and clock were not working.
The bed was hard as a rock and the toilet was broken.
There was no one at the front desk at night or when we checked out at 7am.

Yes it is an overpriced motel. But it was there in the middle of nowhere when we needed it. We were driving back from montreal to NB when i had food poisoning and we had to take a break. This was the only place available for miles at 1am. So appreciate that it exists. Could do better with amenities and pricing.

I am not one to make a bad review unless it is really deserved and this time I must say it is.

AC was non-functional and room was on the second floor.

No working lights in the bathroom.it was pitch black.

Fire Alarm was dismounted on the ceiling. I'm pretty sure that's a big safety issue.

The room smelled like a man had just taken a shower. I could still smell this mornings occupant.

They do not advise you that the rooms have a common door connecting one to another. Yes, it was locked but did I feel safe as a solo young woman traveling? Nope. I would have liked to be warned beforehand.

Yes, everything is outdated but it's to be expected with these prices.

I was only there for one night, as I travel for work. I do not recommend, not at the price of 120 a night.

This should be a low end 60 dollars a night kind of motel. Don't expect any luxury or.working appliances.
