Motel Ritz

Clean place overall with friendly staff. It's close to everything you might want whether grocery store, convenient store, shopping centre, fast-food, restaurants, etc. The price is cheaper compare to all the motels in the area. Would recommend this place.

A big hotel messed up my reservation. So I found this little motel. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was small but it served its purpose well. The room was so clean and the matress was in a bag. I looked for bed bugs as I always do in any hotel, found zero. Location was on a main strip in Gatineau and had many options to pick up a quick bite. Close to downtown and shopping. The staff was really nice. When I checked out I seen the room cleaners using good cleaning supplies and completely changing the bedding. It's not the Chateau Laurier, but for the price and last second check in.it was a decent place. I don't leave reviews normally but felt this motel was great for a quick overnight stay.

Good thing it doesn't smell and is close to downtown and major stores.
This place is very, very tiny. It needs a lot of love. Has a lot of dust. Furniture damaged and outdated. If you have an extra few $$, choose something else. Damaged chairs, holes in blankets, etc. I understand that I can ask to replace chairs, blankets, etc, but it need better quality control and a lot of love and updates.

Nous étions 2 voyageurs chambre 39 pour 1 nuit pour le travail. Pas de piqûres ou rien à notre arrivée. 2 jours plutard, nous avons remarqués des piqûres en même temps qui ressemblent vraisemblablement à des piqures de punaises de lit. Le monsieur a l’accueil me confirme qu’ils mettent des produits specials après chaque client. J’en doute.
Chambre douteuse, salle de bain pas propre.

Pire hôtel de cette région, manque de respect de tout le personnel, dénigrement prétextant des choses sur nous, ne veux pas rembourser le dépôt, chambre sans micro onde, sans verre, le personnel nous insulte

Le personnelle ne respect pas les client, denigre, manque de respect et ne son pas consilient! Les chambre son médiocre! Pire motel que suis aller de toute ma vie!

Nice clean room, and the bed is very comfortable, and complimentary coffee at the officein the morning. Close to all emenities and the price is great.
If you don't need all the extras like a pool, breakfast, jacuzzi, etc, this is it.
Definitely a return to on future visits.

Didn't sleep here but the man at the front was fantastic! Really nice guy. And helped me find my way home. Appreciate the good service and the level of care that the employee showed me.

Chambres propres avec plusieurs utilités (Wi-Fi, shampooing, frigo seche cheveux.) Les 2 personnes à l'accueil nous ont très bien accueilli moi et mon Mari. Ils répondent très vite au téléphone et sont courtois.

I spent a night here recently and was impressed. Room was very nice and fully functional. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will be back.

Let me start by saying this place was an okay place. Kinda spacious and clean. The white male working there on August 30 night was absolutely disgusting and racist. He was rude whenever we asked him to explain the process of payment because we are from Ontario and didn’t understand. He later on replied with “oh my God” in a very aggressive manner and tone. He was not receptive or welcome and he was incredibly rude. The guy that was working on September 1st morning was amazing though. Never staying here again that’s for sure!

Ideal for downtown but some good redtaurants nearby too. The room was fresh and clean. The gentleman booking us in was very polite and helpful.

The rooms, and entire motel, are well past their prime, with peeling paint and stained carpets. The room had a faint odor of tobacco smoke. The cleaning staff did the best they could, but the overall quality is sub-par. Complimentary coffee is available in the office (not the rooms), but tastes awful - go to the nearby Tim Horton's instead. The price was considerably more than what was posted in online searches of nearby motels (I was charged $131CAD, inc.tax, for a one-night stay for two people on a Sun night in Sept.). The TV only had the free Samsung TV service, not local cable service. WiFi worked OK though.

It was surprisingly very clean and nice for the price and the only down fall I would like to bring up that it would benefit if it wasn’t so tight in space in the main room and the washroom because bigger people do need just a bit more space for their needs to be met.

It's very comfortable and was available on short notice. There is only a microwave in the main office, but you get a good size fridge/freezer and a surprisingly fancy shower

I just wanna say our experience was very great here. I booked my room on same day in morning and the guy on the call was very kind and responsive.if anyone is visiting gattineau or ottawa this is the quiet, cheap and best place here. Rooms are very clean and beds are very cozy. We will see you soon ritz.

3 stars because the bed was super comfy and after a long drive was much needed, lost 2 stars because whi ever cleaned the room didn't clean under the bed.there was garbage and a pillow left from previous guests.wasn't overly happy about it but they took cash for a deposit and the bed was comfortable.

On nous prend un dépôt sur ma carte de crédit sans avertissement avant je trouve ça vraiment ordinaire. Rendu a la réception on nous demande de ne pas fumer dans les chambres, en arrivant dans la chambre première chose que ça sent la grosse cigarette sale qui a été essayer de cacher avec du Febreze -_-
Arrivé pour prendre ma douche. 3 gros poile dans le bain en plus du raques pour déposer le savon toute sale
Et les lit ne sont vraiment mais vraiment pas confortable j'ai ai encore mal au dos
Je m'attendais a rien pour ce prix la et j'ai été pareil déçu

Service. Médiocre a canceller notre chambre la. Journée qu'on arrivait. Bête et ordinaire. N'aller pas la. Place à bannir

Very comfortable bed. Room airy not clasterfobic fair size washroom. Very clean descent room with small fridge.

Is a really good motel not too expensive and the owner is an awesome person the rooms are very very clean and this is why I rated it a four-star so if you’re looking for a good room it’s not far from Ottawa maybe a three/five minute drive from Ottawa go to The R I T Z

Wasn’t clean at all.smell bad. And no microwave. And u guys need to steam
Out the place when someone leave all you do is change the bed sheet. Covid is on the run

My stay was perfect. Got upgraded to queen bed at no extra charge. Bed was comfortable. Big showerhead with adjustable sprays.

Room was very clean, staff were friendly, felt safe staying bu myself over there and location is great especially if u need to use public transit its close to multiple bus stations

Des trous de ventilation partout autour de la porte de la chambre, pas trop sécurisant. Les chaises et fauteuil avec des cernes colorés de bon goût, air climatisée (ventilateur seulement). Ameublement des années 80 qui a du vécu. Propreté douteuse et mal entretenue.

C'est un môtel 2.
J'ai louer une petite chambre la moinz cher 100$.
L'air climatisé fonctionne pas bien.
Frigo non fonctionnel.

Clean rooms, oldfasioned strip motel, comfortable, nice bathrooms with rain shower heads, comfortable beds, reasonably priced.

Most expenive motel I had to stay in at $199 for two beds. The only thing Ritz about it was the waterfall shower and beautiful bathroom (with a filthy/dusty fan. Bruised my knee on the metal bed corner upon entering because the room is so cramped. No coffee, no microwave (You have to go to the main office passing all the other room to get them). It was my only option since it was the only hotel in Gatineau that took pets and only had 2 rooms left. Beds were comfortable. Manager was nice. Suggestion: Don't stay in Gatineau especially if you have pets.

Nous avions une chambre très petite. Chambre rénovée et très propre. Quand même un bon rapport qualité-prix. Propriétaires très sympathiques.

If you happen to be in Ottawa for a few days, this is an excellent place to stay. To start with, its location is just a very short and easy drive from downtown, which is less than 5 kilometres away or around 3 miles. This property is family owned and operated. This is evident because the owner or someone in his family will make sure that you are comfortable and well looked after. The place is impeccably clean, beds are comfortable, showers ideal and other amenities function perfectly. This is a traditional motel where you can conveniently park your car right outside your room. It is also very reasonably priced.

Qualité versus prix c'est excellent. Le monsieur a mon arrivé le 27 août en soirée m'a montré la seul chambre qui lui restait et j'ai vite vu qu'elle était très propre. Aussi l'accueil s'est fait très respectueusement et j'y ai dormi confortablement et c'était très tranquille. Le matin j'ai savouré un café plus qu'excellent; j'en ai aussi pris un deuxième. Aussi a mon départ, les deux dames, à la réception, se sont empressé de répondre a chacune de mes questions, moi n'étant pas de la région. Merci au personnel et propriétaire qui tiennent ce motel. The experience was terrible. Pay attention to the cleanliness of your bed. If there was the possibility to put no star i would.

Petite chambre pour 2 lits, personnel peu acceuillant et très indiscret, désagréable, malpoliret oppressant pas de déjeuner et charge un extra de 10$ et perte de dépôt de 50$ pour ne pas avoir réservé une nuit de plus, patches dans les murs et toilette qui bloque à répétition. Ps: La dame noire qui fait le ménage à une déficience intellectuelle et elle cogne à partir de 10h30 dans les chambres

J'ai très apprécié la netteté des lieux, autant de la chambre comme de la douche et le confort du matelas. J'avais regardé d'autres hôtels et motels, celui ci est sans doute le plus propre. Le gestionnaire est très sympathique. 100$ bien investis, dorénavant le motel Ritz est ma place à Gatineau

La chambre est petite, mais tres propre et le matelas vraiment confortable. Le manager de l'hotel est serviable et disponible. Je recommande, bon hotel pas loin d'Ottawa!

Very clean and comfortable. All the furniture and fixtures are decorous and beautiful. The staff was super kind and friendly. I truly recommend it

Great place, wonderful staff, friendly and welcoming. Clean and very nice rooms with soft beds. Lots of parking space. Defiantly a good place to spend the night. Had a very nice sleep.

For a motel, this is great. Has all the basic needs and the room was very clean. Would recommend for a short stay!

On as été très déçue de l'isolation contre le froid et les bruits et surtout de l'insalubrité de la chambre!
