Motel Rivière-Trois Pistoles Inc

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I am a positive review person (as you can see if you check my review account), however - there's no possibility I could ever give this place a positive word.

I called ahead to book a room on my drive across the country. Spoke with a lady who spoke poor English and I spoke poor French but we could talk numbers. I was quoted 160$ for a room with my pets. Upon arrival I was charged 213$. I was not told the 160$ did not include the pet fees. I was taxed on a pet fee then the federal and provincial taxes were calculated separately and they taxed the tax so I was taxed individually on everything.

It gets better.

I have no choice other than to pay it. I pay it. I move on, start off loading my things. A random man approaches my van with no introduction and proceeds to tell me I can't park in front of my door. Okay, no problem. Then he yells at my window "how many dogs do you have" my dogs are going nuts at this random dude approaching me so I put my finger up to tell him just a moment and he mistakes that as me saying one dog. He leaves.

As I start unloading my stuff he walks across the parking lot and starts yelling at me telling me I was dishonest about the amount of dogs. I have NO idea who this guy is as I've only spoken with and dealt with a lady.

He's going OFF on me in the parking lot then proceeds to tell me I also refused to provide the hotel with a credit card - which is really weird because I paid with my credit card. I was never asked for a credit card.

I ask him if I can have a moment to put my things down to talk to him, he doesn't stop. I ask him for a refund because this is all happening within minutes of me arriving. I go back to the office to talk to him and he's LOSING IT on me. I provide him with not ONE but TWO credit cards and proceed to ask him to stop swearing at me a treating me like a criminal for clearly a misunderstanding. I explain to him that I'm extremely disappointed with the final price and that I was also misled. He tells me I shouldn't lie about my dogs and that I should have known about the pet fees. Right, so I can read minds now.

No matter how much I tried to reason with this guy or resolve the situation as fast as possible, he wanted a fight. He's swearing at me and telling me that I am a liar and all the issues he's had in the past, valid but I'm trying to resolve this and hes not into it. I asked for a refund multiple times and was told because I put my dogs in the room "I wasn't getting a f*cking refund" (I think he watched and waited until I put them in there). I told him I'd sleep in my van with my dogs before I'd stay there and get treated like that. Still arguing with me he tells me I'm not making my dogs sleep in my van. (Seriously, he's mental)

Finally after so long of being verbally attacked I stood silent in the office waiting for him to finally take a credit card number from me as I clearly had to stay there. He still didn't stop. I stand there shaking my head and he's screaming at me accusing me of laughing at him.

I hope at the very least he took my money and got himself a therapy appointment because this man has serious, serious issues to treat not just a person but a young woman in the way he treated me. He's a sad excuse of a human being and I hope he gets the help he needs. Stay anywhere BUT here.

Ma mère et moi avons décider de faire un road trip en Gaspésie. Nous voyageons avec deux chiens. Nous somme arrivé très tard dans la région sans plan de où nous allons coucher ce soir là. Ils nous ont accueilli sans problème avec nos chien.
La chambre était très belle, propre et spacieuse.
Les gens étaient formidable, chaleureux et d'une tel gentillesse.
Merci mille fois d'avoir embelli notre road trip de filles.

Les chambres sont vraiment bien organisées: supports pour le linge, récupération, café, micro-ondes, mini frigo, air climatisé. Le personnel est super accueillant et attentionné. La proximité avec la 132 est positive pour trouver l'endroit mais est bruyante. L'eau chaude prend du temps à arriver et disparaît parfois. Sommes toutes, un très bon choix.

We were lost and ended up finding this motel. The man here was extremely friendly and helpful. He printed out the map and all directions to help us get back on track. He made sure we had everything we needed, even brought my kids some popcorn to make. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the river and mountains was beautiful. If I'm out that way again, we will absolutely stay here.

Nice clean newly renovated rooms. Fantastic host extremely friendly.
Beware.restaurants in town are closed Monday Tuesday. And the metro pretty a mange is closed by 1pm. But rooms have fridge and microwave

Nice and well run budget hotel with drive up to door parking. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and my room had a TV, good sized fride, microwave, coffee maker and table and 2 chairs. A view of the river and valley before entering Riviere Trois Pistols with easy turn off from the road. Nice towels and room service at you request. The owners are super nice and accommodating to your needs. I rate as 5 because for the economy hotel that it is, it hits a 5/5.

Ce motel a été un ‘Life saver’ pour nous, avant pu nous héberger pendant une tempête qui nous empêchait de continuer notre chemin. Propriétaires dévoués et sympathiques, chambre très propre (bien que mobilier ancien). Merci!
