I maybe a little confused but when I visited this location, there was only a "Cafe Des amis" in the back of the building, and that is what I am reviewing.
To start, the service was good and fast 5/5.
My biggest issue is with the water, the do not sell flat water unless you buy a souvenir cup (as you will see in the pictures) 1/5.
Bring bottled water with you, as the hike up is taxing.

Great view and nice place during the summer however the iced coffee is horrible. Burnt coffee beans + watered down.

Situated all the hilltop position at Mount Royal, this lovely piece of Beaux-Arts architecture provides the much needed resting, catering and washroom facilities to visitors to the park and the Kondiaronk Lookout.
The hall is a social space and can be used for meetings and conferences. Inside the building, the wall has large-scale paintings depicting the history of Montréal by thirteen famous Canadian artists. Exposed beams decorated with carved wooden squirrels, chandeliers and a large fireplace give a rustic scene.

Ultimate "coffee with a view" experience in Montreal, and the coffee is surprisingly good - at least, to my taste.

Tellement bon! J’ai pris un café, la fois suivante un chocolat chaud puis un cidre de pomme (le meilleur ever!)

Very lucky to have this place waiting for you after your long climb up all those stairs. When you are done admiring the view then come inside to warm up, use the rest rooms, get some refreshments, buy a souvenir and learn a whole lot of history.

Must visit for all tourists in this beautiful walking snowy park and for the view of the city which is breathtaking. Enjoyed the local school practicing carol for Christmas.

We were here on Dec 25th, '18. It was pretty cold (-11) & the sidewalks were icy. Parking was almost full, we were lucky to find parking as people departed. The views are still fantastic. Recommend dress warm & wear boots for the short walk to the chalet.

On stationne notre auto au sommet de la montagne et on fait une balade sur la montagne. D'un côté le Lac aux castors et de l'autre le Chalet de la montagne. Côté chalet, la vue sur Montréal est exceptionnelle. On peut aussi y prendre un rafraîchissement si on n'a pas prévu une bouteille d'eau.
De bonnes chaussures s'imposent.

Historic and majestic building at the Mont Royal, has a wonderful view of the city and the location (more like a forest than a park) makes it feel exciting but also friendly and familiar and the good thing is that it's quite easy to get there, you can even take the bus

Endroit pas très propre. Une odeur d'urine ou d'écurie empestait tout l'intérieur du chalet. Extérieur nous offre une vue magnifique sur la belle ville de Montréal. Beaucoup de touristes.
