Lorsque j'ai franchi les portes du restaurant Mucca à Montréal, mes attentes étaient plutôt modérées. Quelle agréable surprise ce fut! If I could give 6 stars I would! Been a couple times to this restaurant and I normally never take the time to write reviews but these folks more than deserve one. The quality of their ingredients, the service, the menu, all of it. I recommend doing the tasting menu!

Discovered this spot while looking for an alternative to another well known restaurant in the area - that was fully booked. Staff and service is excellent - location is great. The menu changes often so best to check the menu online before dining at Mucca. That said the appetizers (Burratta & fig and charcuterie board) were great and served with warm homemade bread. The restaurant is known for its beef but we opted for the two pasta dishes. One was delicious, but the spaghetti with fried zucchini was disappointingly bland even after asking for salt and additional cheese. The pasta it’s self (made daily) was cooked well - just the seasoning was off on the spaghetti as mentioned. Desert was fantastic, wine selection great- my friend and I would come back, and I agree with previous comments about Mucca being a great date spot.

Un délice! Nous avons pris le menu dégustation à 3, c'était une belle découverte et l'ensemble était copieux. Un service également impeccable, notamment de la part de notre serveuse de boissons dont j'ai (honteusement) oublié le nom. Nous reviendrons!

I really enjoyed my meal, everything was well executed. Most of all, the service was attentive and stellar. I recommend this place as an alternative to traditional steakhouses.

J’y suis allée quelques fois et à chaque fois le service est très accueillant et professionnel et les pâtes sont excellentes. Seul petit bémol: la liste musicale qui joue du rock des années 1990-2000 qui ne va pas avec l’ambiance d’un petit resto chaleureux de ce type.

Italian bisteccheria at its finest!
This Italian steak house did not disappoint, we ordered most of the menu and had the pasta twice. The porterhouse steak was grilled to perfection, juicy and full of flavour. Not to be missed. Hidden gem.

Très bon accueil, très bon service, plats exceptionnels en particulier les pâtes fraîches, la viande est parmi les meilleures de Montréal, les entrées goûtées ce soir là et les desserts ne sont pas à la hauteur des plats et de la viande. Le choix de vin est très large. L ambiance est conviviale. Musique très discutable (pop rock des 80’s/90’s). Belle expérience malgré tout avec le menu dégustation. Je recommande.

Un seul mot WOW! Tout y était saveur, service et convivialité. Personnels qualifiés, une sommelière chevronnée et un chef passionné, voilà une formule gagnante. Le menu dégustation est un incontournable à essayer. Nous y retournerons. Merci pour cette belle découverte.

Une très belle découverte. La nourriture est très bonne, très goûteuse. J'ai beaucoup aimé leur pain maison, le tartare, leur gnocchis, le Porter House, et le tiramisu aux agrumes. On y reviendra c'est incontestable.

Fresh ingredients and good service. Beef tartar was really good, but the fig and guanciale pasta was a bit disappointing and lacked flavor. Overall a good meal but probably wouldn’t rush back here.

There is a reason why the reviews have nothing less than a 5 star rating! It is not often I feel the need to review, but it has been quite a while since I have been floored by the overall experience from a restaurant. The tasting menu is an absolute must; you truly get your money’s worth. Being a group of 5 we were treated to a sampling of almost everything on their menu and everything was simply amazing. The burrata with the ground cherry jam was “lick your plate” that good. The beef tartare was fresh and better with each bite. The homemade pasta choices were each innovative and delectable… we needed to ask for more bread to scoop up all the sauce! Next came the 3 choices of meat and the moooo in Mucca really showed itself. The platters of meat were out of this world delicious and cooked to perfection. Even the side of greens and mashed potatoes were simply devine infused with garlic and herbs. At this point we were stuffed to the rim and couldn’t imagine dessert being even better. The lemon tiramisu was absolutely everything (and this coming from someone who usually doesn’t like citrus desserts and knows a good tiramisu when she sees one). The gelato flavours were apple pie and mojito reincarnated. And the ricotta cheesecake was delicate and so fluffy. If the food wasn’t enough, the service and ambience were also top notch quality. After every serving, all cutlery and plates were replaced and our glasses were never emptied.the attention to detail did not go unnoticed; these people know how to deliver an experience. The music they had going was every best song I wanted to hear and I really need their playlist now! The owner was a true delight and you can tell that this is her passion; serving and doing food exceptionally well without it being pretentious. We will definitely be back!

Omg, I couldn't recommend enough of this place. It kind of brought me back to my trip to Italy. We had the Tagliatelle pasta which is super fresh literally like from the farm to the table. Then the portohouse Florentina steak is a must! The rosemary and garlic taste infused to the steak perfectly, and the filet mignon part is needless to say super tender.
The restaurant is locally owned by a very nice couple who truly share their passion for food, and our waiter is very friendly who knows the dishes very well. I would definitely go back over and over again:)

Nous y sommes arrêtés par hasard et notre improvisation du moment fut bien servie…un très bon resto, endroit très propre car nous avons mangé au coin du bar. Personnel sympathique, belle ambiance habillée par un fond de musique festif. Les plats que nous avons dégustés étaient excellents.

We got the tasting menu (dégustation) and every dish was incredible! We would definitely recommend! The gnocci, steak cuts, and desserts were all sublime. Our server Hugo was nice and helpful as well:)

Exceptionnel du début à la fin! Service impeccable, cuisson de la viande parfaite, respect de la vraie cuisine italienne. N'hésitez pas à demander conseil pour les vins, le personnel saura répondre à vos attentes. On y retournera sans hésiter!

We live in the neighborhood and have wanted to try this place for quite some time. We finally had dinner tonight and it did not disappoint! The weather was great so we had our meal outside on their lovely terrace. We decided to go with tasting menu for two and it was mind blowing! Seriously, every dish was on another level. We also had our 20 month old daughter with us and they were so great with her (btw, they do have high chairs available if needed). She had some delicious pasta of her own but she nibbled at our dishes too and ate super well. Overall, we loved the place and can’t wait to go back soon!

We discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant by chance during a walk in Little Italy and SO glad we decided to eat dinner there that night. Everything here is done thoughtfully, sourced locally, with top notch service and quality. The owner took care of us herself and it was one of the best meals we had during our month long stay in Montreal. Go try it! You will not regret it.

J'ai été un soir pour prendre un repas à 2. Le cadre est vraiment exceptionnel: la décoration est top, la musique pas trop forte pour parler et surtout la nourriture vraiment bonne.
Nous avons pris du boeuf ce soir là et j'ai trouvé le plat vraiment exceptionnel. La cuisson demandée était saignante et nous l'avons eu comme demandé.
J'ai vraiment été satisfait de mon experience au restaurant et je pense que j'y retournerais très prochainement.
