I was here last summer while I was on vacation in Montreal for the first time and honestly the experience I had still bothered me so much that I had to leave a review. I came in everything seemed normal and I am very respectful to servers due to the fact I am one myself, the service was not good but after everything I got my bill and I always pay card but tip cash because I know servers like cash more so I put no tip on the machine and while I was pulling out cash my server said where’s my tip which I was shocked about and I said I was giving him cash then he leave it in the table very aggressively I talked to another server and found out our server was actually the manager which is shocking I left no tip after that as well it ruined my vision of Montreal as a hole and I will never be returning due to how awful that guy made people in Montreal seem

Super endroit pour suivre les match de sport en tout genre.

Ils font des bons plats.

Le personnel est très accueillant.

Je recommande vivement.

Resto bien situé, ambiance décontractée et si on a faim on est servi. Efficace et rapide.

Bar situé en plein centre-ville, à deux pas de la station Berri UQAM. On y trouve au menu une bonne diversité de boissons et de la nourriture. Le personnel est ok et le service rapide. L'endroit peut facilement se remplir en temps de matchs sportifs.

Our Server, Erica, was awesome…friendly, efficient and professional! We had various burgers which were delicious. The home fries, onion rings and sweet potatoe fries were great. The Thai Chicken Salad had just the right amount of sweet and zing. It was so big, I couldn’t finish it. Very yummy. And the buffalo wings were big, spicy and juicy. Couldn’t ask for more. We arrived at 5: 40pm on Saturday and were out by 6: 45 in time for our show.

We had few drinks here. Large place and many TVs. Didn’t try any of the food. Service was great. Polite and nice service.

Overall just good. One waitress was awesome. But food came out late for some of us. Like really late. I'd come back, but without high expectations.

Nous sommes venues pour la finale, le gérant nous as laissés attendre dehors sous -5 degrés pendant 1h30 sans nous donner d’informations! Le bar était à moitié vide et ils refusaient de nous laisser rentrer même debout! Très désagréable, à fuir!

Watched the 2022-23 World Juniors Gold Game! Our Server Tina was Awesome Sauce! Had Legendary French Onion Soup Delicious-ness! "Turkey wing-sized" Chicken Wings! Oh the Fresh Chocolate Cake was Gold Finish
MVP stands out from other local Sports Establishments. Food & Drinks, Consistent Service, Sports Screens Playin & Tons of Sport Memorabilia. Highly Recommend 1st Choice! Won't disappoint Genuine & Home-grown Sports Bar!

Très belle endroit pour aller écouter le sport. Plusieurs tv sont disponible afin d'écouter toutes les sports présentés durant la journée. Les nourriture est très bonne aussi.

Passer un très bon moment ce samedi en famille et amis
Personnel sympathique et prix raisonnable les plats sont bien servie et bon.

Gérant peu arrangeant, qui gère mal les listes d’attente.

"Bar sportif" qui accueille moins de personnes que dans ses capacités lors de la CDM. Pour la finale, nous étions plusieurs à attendre dehors sous la neige pendant 1h30 avant le début du match. Finalement au coup d'envoi, personne ne voulait nous laisser rentrer alors qu'il y avait clairement des tables encore vides à l'intérieur. Qui plus est, la semaine d'avant un serveur nous avait promis de nous offrir une place, mais le jour-même n'a pas tenu sa promesse.
Nous sommes rentrés 20min apres le coup d'envoi, et en plus on nous a fait payer 12 dollars l'entrée alors que c'était supposé être gratuit.
Une fois assis on nous a tout de suite demandé si on voulait consommer quelque chose. C'est un peu culotté.

L'ambiance était super avec un match de hockey!
Le service que nous avons eu était super avec des personnes formidable mais malheureusement la nourriture n'étais pas bonne

Ca fait 3 ans que je suis cliente et malheureusement il n’y a ni papier a main, ni séchoir a main dans les toilettes du haut. Messemble que ca prend pas 3 ans à réparer

Le bar est indiqué ouvert mais le gérant ne laisse pas rentrer les client (raison inconnue)!
Il est extrêmement désagréable et nous a fait attendre, avec mes amis, plus d’une 1h dans le froid! Une honte!

Nous y étions pour prendre un verre. Mais je peux vous dire que les odeurs qui sortaient des cuisines nous donnaient l'eau à la bouche.

J’avais le goût de vomir après le repas, trop cher et ne présentaient pas la game des canadiens… je déconseille, restez chez vous!

Indigestion aux doigts de poulet. Si vous voulez vomir votre souper. Je vous recommande quand meme un autre endroit

Il faudrait que tous les bar sportifs de la ville soient pleins à craquer pour que je retourne au MVP.
Bouffe bien trop cher pour la qualité et surtout la quantité.

I was here on july 29 2022 16: 00h. The waitress was very professionnal, she gave me a very good service and explaination of the desert menu. The food was also excellent. My steak litteraly melted in my mouth. It was perfect. The cheese cake I took for desert was realy good. Not the one I expected, but even better.

Good food, great beer, friendly service, and LOTS of screens to watch. Really enjoyed an evening meal and a drink there.

This is a pretty cool sports bar.they have plenty of TVs. They had limited vegan options. Much better vegetarian options. Drinks were great. A sports bar should have good drinks. The staff was cool and overall this is a great place to come and watch sports.

Great service, friendly place with good drinks at reasonable rates. Aleks behind the bar was attentive and the staff set us up to see round 3 of the US Open golf as well as the Stanley cup finals. Good place to land after a day at circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

This place is “STILL” amazing! Whenever I am in town, I always come to MVP. They cater to any true sports fan. If you want to watch a game 10/10 it will be available. Highly recommended!

Definitely would recommend to come here to watch any sport event you like.

Tina and Alex are absolute gems. I rushed in for a game and instantly I felt welcomed by their warm and bubbly reception. Tina immediately asked me if what I wanted to watch was on (it was) and then went a step further. She noticed I was alone and initiated some conversation between random patrons at the bar. Eventually we all amalgamated into one group because of her and it became a big party. New fav sports bar, coming here for all my games.

Wonderful sports bar with great ambiance, great food and attentive staff. Owner is very welcoming and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Vraiment une belle soirée. Les serveuses sont écoeurantes. La bouffe est bonne. La bière est froide! Alex est une crissement bonne barmaid! Spot a voir!

Nous somme aller souper ce samedi le 4 dec. La bouffe est excellente, mais entre la barmaide qui se lime les ongles direct au bar et se peigne les cheveux, sans se laver les main pour faire nos drinks, c'est bien comme place

What a lovely place. Was in Montreal for my birthday and I went to eat here with some friends - the waitresses were so sweet and attentive, and the nachos are great!

Greatest sports bar in MTL. They show all the NFL games, it's perfect for any football fans. Our waitress Meta is fantastic. Can't wait to go back. Oh and the food is Solid.

Best sports bar in the area. Lots of seating, TV's to watch the game, menu lined with beloved pub picks, good beer selection and good cocktails too. This place has a very cheerful and friendly vibe. A truly enjoyable experience thanks to the best bartenders on St. Catherine E - Meta & Alex!

Great Menu options however the meal we had was not so great. Club sandwich with no options for mayonnaise, butter made it very dry, the meat had no taste. Fries and gravy were advertised and guaranteed by server to be gluten free - they were not. Mixed drinks were moderately well made but the Moscow mule tasted like a lime Ricky. The meal was like a trip down memory lane eating at the Zellers restaurant in the 1980s. Maybe it was just a bad day for them. Meal was just under 200, I would've likeed some club Z points.

Food was awesome! Great poutine, great service, just too bad that MSU got obliterated by OSU and absolutely ruined our day. C'est la vie, eh?

Terrible customer "service". A group of us came here for lunch yesterday because my husband has a gluten allergy, and after reading the gluten free options online, he was excited for a club sandwich on gluten free bread. After ordering, we had some drinks before the waitress returned to let us know that everything should be ready soon and added "except we don't have any gluten free bread". So he ordered chicken wings, because the menu indicated they are not breaded. Good thing he asked because they are in fact breaded. So, we ask what he can have.to which our waitress replies, "Meat? On a plate? " Long story short, my husband ate the chicken out of our dry mayo-less triple deckers because the poutine he ordered instead, also was not gluten free, as promised. Thankfully, he is not anaphylactic. We didn't even have the opportunity to ask for mayo because she never came back until we asked for our bill.

Awesome service! Loved the waitresses/bartenders Meta, Dani and Alex. Great food and atmosphere!

Terrible experience.
2 waitresses chated to each other the whole time. Both CONSTANTLY on their phones, one sat on the cooler with her legs fully up while on her phone.
One changed into sweatpants half way through the shift.
We got next to NO quality checks, beers sat empty, waitresses were not very helpful. One of the waitresses made a comment to the other about a bad tip they had gotten, none of their conversations were about work, it was overly unprofessional even for a sports bar.

Food was decent but not great. (Had sliders, wings and hummus and veggie plate.

TVs were good.

Great service! Meta was the best and took care of my friends and I very well. Alex was on point with the drinks. Would 100% recommend. 10/10. Shout out mon chum Richard

Pizza is pretty good.
Chicken is eeeh.chicken. Nothing different.
Cake is alright too.
Overall good food. Pricing could be a little better.

Nous faire payer 25$ pour voir la game de hockey sa part déjà mal. Quelque minute après notre arrivé nous faire a croire qu'il a un problème dans le système et nous propose des shooter de Jameson a 20$. Je pense que ya un problème ici. Pas de pichet seulement des bière a 12$ tu nous prend tu pour des niaiseux?

On s'est fait annulé une réservation qui était disponible à 19h et ils nous l'ont annulé. Service à la clientèle médiocre.

Nice friendly staff. Descent food. Lots of TVs for watching games. The drinks prices are really expensive though. Over $10 for a pint of draft beer!

La bouffe plus qu’ordinaire ainsi que le service médiocre que l’on a reçu fait que c’était la première et dernière fois que nous irons à cette endroit.

25$ de réservation par tête pour le 3 ieme match des canadien pour la coupe.je m’attendais à un bar sportif hors du commun. L’endroit est tres malpropre, les sales de bain et les tables en tres mauvais état.

Vraiment une mauvaise expérience et surtout ça ne valait pas dutout le prix de la réservation.

Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant.

If I could give ten stars I would hahaha one of the best places down town to chill and watch the game. Super friendly and fun staff, amazing atmosphere. Recommend to all my friends. Amazing owner, shout outs to him.

The music playing at the moment killed it for me: When it wasn't the mellow country, it was the hip-hop stuff.
The food and service were good, but the music stopped me from really enjoying the experience there.

Great place to watch the game! The service was really friendly and helpful. The food was great and they have a good beer selection. They have lots of tvs to watch the game.

Yea good bar, watched some NFL football, got a few tasty beers, great service and food, it was cold outside which made it easy for me to decide how long I would stay.

Interesting area of town. During our visit, a gentleman sitting at the bar tried to his tab (200.00 $ worth). It became a live episode of cops, and a total buzz kill. Will not be going back.

Pour tous les amateurs de boxe qui comme moi ont cherché des plombes un bar sur montréal qui diffuse les matchs, vous avez trouver l'endroit où aller. Fox-PBC, DAZN, ESPN, ShowTIME tous les combats majeurs sont diffusés, la nourriture est abordable et la bière bien bonne, pour 20 dollars tip compris on passe une très bonne soirée avec un personnel très aimable.

Une étoile en moins pour le dress code imposé aux serveuses cependant. Je comprends qu'il faille aguicher les gros dépenseurs mais là c'est quand même chaud, surtout pour les serveuses les plus jeunes.

Got up early for the Manchester United vs Liverpool game, rolled a joint and took the metro to La Cage just to find out when I was there that they werent gonna broadcast the game, so sadly walk the same street and found MVP Resto Bar, so smoked my jay and as soon as I was walking in the girl at the bar told me I smell but whatever they were broadcasting the game and thats enough for 5 stars. Also liked the coffee.

I have the habit of stopping here before shows at the Metropolis.beer and popcorn, maybe an appetizer. Anyway, the night I was there the popcorn machine was full before we left, we walked by in the morning and the same popcorn was in the machine.
Finaly, when we left the hotel, we walked again. That same popcorn was left untouched and they had started serving at that point. That is simply disgusting.

Ambiance et lieu propice à passer un très bon moment autour du sport, hockey notamment. Le burger MVP, fait maison est excellent et garni, le choix de bières proposées en fût est large et le service impeccable.
Tout pour passer un bon moment.

We rarely want to eat at a sports bar, but enjoyed this place so much, we had dinner there three of the nights we stayed. Great food, late night hours, terrific service and very close tonour hotel.

Great bartenders and great atmosphere. When Arianne and Alex are working together there is never a dull moment, a truly unforgettable time! If you are in downtown Montreal I highly recommend this place if you want to find great conversations with employees and people and just enjoy your life to the fullest. Life is about the memories you make and the people you surround yourself with, you will not regret making one here Plan to visit again in the near future, hopefully once or twice a year! I shall be honest, sports bar are all pretty much the same. Big screen and bar food. Local and imported beer to watch the game or the fight. On those aspects this place score well. Food is good, warm and in good amount for the price. Local beer is cheap and not Waterdown. We're this place score very high is on the staff. Great job on who ever manage staff over there. Amazing service. Fast, friendly and on point. This as become my go to sports bar Because of the great staff. Don't be shy to leave a big tip. They work very hard to make this place the best sport bar downtown

The food here is always good, and plentiful. The servers are consistently friendly and also bilingual. The prices are steep however. This used to be our go to restaurant in Montreal every time we visited, but as mentioned the price is a bit prohibitive.

Had a great server. Service was quick. MVP burger was big and juicy. The house blond is a nice smooth beer. Would definitely return.

Beers where nice and cheap. Just go here for a drink. Although the waiter screwed up two orders he demanded a higher tip. He “explained” us this was mandatory.

Hands down worst burger I've had in my 36 years on this earth. Burger patties were dry, cold, and completely flavorless. Clearly they were bought in bulk and kept frozen for months before cooking. Plus the thin later of cheese added zero flavor. Gross. Unacceptable in the United States. Go to McDonalds for a burger instead.

I hope MVP reassesses and rather than two flimsy patties, they go with one thicker patty of fresh ground meat w/spices and juice. Paging Jon Taffer and Gordon Ramsey.

I love that place! My waitress Marjo is simply the best! Great service and the food is good. I always go for lunch and I leave smiling at all times.

Pas fort pour nous avoir dit qu'un mineur pouvais entrer accompagner a 4 reprise par le même staff et d'un coup on se fait mettre à la porte par le même staff a 16h pm un dimanche manque de gestion total en anglais

Horrible. Tried to take advantage of tourists. I work in business so I know the pay rates. Staff lies about being paid next to nothing and tried to put in an amount she wants for a tip rather than us deciding. Waitresses demanded a tip even when received poor service. Waitress was extremely rude.

Mediocre, at best. Though server at door was very attendant, the servers behind the bar are not interested.
Food is tasteless and unoriginal.
Beer selection is uninspiring and disappointing.
