My Alignment Massage Therapy

My alignment is a great place. Khaled especially was amazing with his service. Every time we meet, he asks me questions to better evaluate my needs. At the end of each session, he shows me things to do at home to improve my posture. Overall, he goes above and beyond what is required from him.

Excellent sessions with Sylvia, who I can recommend whole-heartedly. She's thoughtful, takes her time, gets to know what ails you, and is very skilled at working out the kinks and knots, of which I have plenty.

I've been going regularly to see Sylvia once a month since I discovered MA in August, and it's always a huge help, helping to reduce job-related shoulder stress, sports injuries, muscle strains, and more.

Highly recommend My Alignment for a welcoming and 5-star therapeutic experience. All massage therapists on their website seem highly skilled. I opted for a massage by Milena due her compelling description which involved combing "elements of Thai massage, the smooth flow of a lomilomi, the strength of a deep tissue and softness of a pregnancy massage".

Must say, easily one of the best massages I've ever received. Milena use of Tiger Balm as well as stretches during the session enabled greater relaxation. Also, she transitioned between different body regions very gracefully. Lastly, Milena was able to identify pain points that I didn't even know I had and recommend at-home stretching to further alleviate soreness.

Yesterday I had the 60 minute relaxation massage with the amazing Summer! It was the most fantastic massage, so good that I actually fell asleep not once, but twice! If that doesn't scream relaxation, I don't know what will. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a bit of 'me' time.

I did deep tissue massage here and I can’t stop saying how good Milena is! Very professional and the whole massage process was well structured and she know exactly where to put the pressure on. Definitely will visit again!

I have been to MyAlignment twice so far and I am extremely satisfied with the service! Heather is super knowledgeable and accommodating. She’s easy to communicate with and provides a super relaxing environment during the sessions!

Exercises that she’s recommended I do at home to maintain the loosened tension have really helped as well. Would definitely recommend!

A horrible experience.
I contacted them directly by email to which I recieved no reply or consideration so I am leaving a review.

I had spent a lot of time searching for a massage clinic and I took the time to read through the therapists descriptions to book an appointment with the one who I thought would be a good fit for me.

I had rescheduled with no issues and on Sunday I had an unexceptional event come up so I tried to reschedule again and explained that if it wasn’t possible I would keep it and do my best to come on time anyway.

Angelica later texted me saying that she needs to leave by 4pm which is after my appointment. I said that’s okay and she asked many times if I would like to go with other therapists. At some point I wondered if Angelica was trying to get rid of our appointment…

I walk in the clinic 20min early sit and wait. When she appeared I said « Hi » to which there was a silent stare and no greeting… I felt very uncomfortable.
When I introduce myself as her next client she says in a very cold manner that I will have to wait 30min… I said I don’t mind.
At that point I am uncomfortable. And thinking of ways to leave but there is no way I can leave and pay the fees. And I did not feel comfortable or safe enough to express this.
I was frozen because the athmosphere became so uncomfortable.

I made it a mission to make it to the appointment and came all the way from Ahuntsic without a car…

When I walk in the massage room, I am very anxious and she is being very cold and unfriendly, I have never experienced this in a massage setting or hardly any setting, every question and every response was aggressive.
She repeated again that there are other massage therapists (earlier in the texts I said that I am not comfortable with a male therapist and I do not wish to change).

I did mention once sitting in front of her that « I am uncomfortable » and that I feel that she is trying to set me up with someone else.
She started asking me what I needed, at that point I was just anxious and couldn’t think, she started throwing at me by reciting all of the certifications she had and all the years of experience and all her achievements… in a very defensive manner… and adds a sentence by naming her fees of 140$… as if to say are you capable of paying for my service…
At that point I can’t believe this, but again don’t find the courage to leave, because I am triggered and in freeze mode.

I said I was a dance student in contemporary and ballet and have pain in many areas. She asked if I danced modern dance or swing (this just shows that she did not pay attention and listen to what I had just said- that I dance contemporary-).
I have never in my 30 years of existence experienced such a horrible and aggressive service, especially in a service where I am vulnerable. I was triggered and anxious even before getting there.

I never had imagined that my experience would be that triggering and awful.
No compassion! No listening! No greeting! No checking-in. Nothing but aggressivity and condescending and just a plain mean treatment.

I never doubted the person’s competence in manual and massage therapy, but can such a person treat a client that way? How can such a person work with people?
Sometimes people come for massages also because of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression etc which was in part my case.
And this was far from being a great massage…
My body and breathing was anything but relaxed…
After the massage I wanted to leave as quickly as possible.

Had the best massage from Heather. She took time to listen and focus on the areas that needed more attention.

The only massage centre that I’ve ever made a habit of visiting! The staff is personable, the location is convenient, the ambiance is cute, quaint, and relaxing. My therapist is extremely professional and goes above & beyond by always giving great aftercare instructions and offering stretching tips to maintain muscle comfort.

I discovered My Alignment thanks to Angelica Rosario, who had treated me at another clinic. Thanks to Angelica, My Alignment has become my go to spot for the treatment I need. Her attention to her patients' needs is unparalleled. Our bodies evolve as we age and nobody understands that more than Angelica. The words "kind", "professional", "attentive", "proactive" and "efficient" all come to mind when thinking of Angelica. Thanks to her care, I can rely on consistent, reliable treatments every time we meet.

Expérience fort appréciée aujourd’hui avec Khaled, un masseur professionnel, à l’écoute, très délicat et qui permet une relaxation des plus recherchées. En plus du massage, il vous fait faire des étirements passifs et ajoute plusieurs trucs et astuces qui lui sont propres et qui montrent à quel point il sait adapter ses traitements pour viser la région douloureuse. Je le recommande donc fortement à quiconque désire se libérer de ses tensions et après de mutiples essais avec d’autres masseurs, il saura vous fidéliser. Définitivement à refaire!

Based on a friend's recommendation, I booked a deep tissue session with Angelica. Using various techniques, she was able to identify and alleviate my chronic lower back pain. Her expertise combined with an irreverent sense of humor makes every visit an awesome experience! 10 stars!

Excellent place, the therapist really focus on where you have more pain, to relief it. I don't like to go with male massagists in general, but this time it was a male, Olivier, and he was respectful and made me feel comfortable during the whole time. Really nice, i will definitely go back.

It's always such a pleasure to visit Angelica for a treatment! I did the Madero Therapy (Lymphatic Drainage) and my body feels amazing! I feel tight & toned in all the right places. The clinique is well located, nice and clean and the decor is beautiful. I would definitely recommend for anyone that is looking for massage therapists! Thanks again Angelica!

Since I moved to Montreal, I’ve been looking for a great massage therapist for my chronic pain. I found Angelica. She has been amazing and she always makes sure i’m comfortable. She’s very knowledgeable and she’s very intuitive. I always leave her session back in shape. I would totally recommend Angelica. She’s the best massage therapist in town.

I had a really terrible experience here. The massage bed was dirty and moist, obviously it had not been changed after the previous client. And my massage therapist rushed through my session and didn’t ask me a single question or even introduce herself before the massage. The massage room was also very cold. Overall probably the worst massage experience I’ve ever had. Will not be returning.

Update (05/13) : I contacted the studio about my experience 5 days and they have not answered my email.

Great experience with Khaled- he was super attentive and took time to understand the issue. Felt a difference right away. Would definitely recommend and plan to go back.

Really amazing experience with their kinesiologist Angelica. I wantdd to try something different and really didn't know what I had gotten myself into. But it became a really good experience and very different feeling vs a massage. Still feel really refreshed and "light"-feeling even the day after the therapy.

I've been receiving regular massage and osteopathy treatments from Vincent for several months and my body is very grateful for the pain relief and relaxation.

The clinic is clean and tastefully appointed and the service, impeccable.

The place was awesome! Very cozy and welcoming. Khaled, my message therapist, was very professional and friendly. I received a deep tissue massage which really helped with my chronic shoulder pain. He also spent time explaining a few exercises which could be done at home to alleviate the pain. In a nutshell, it is worth your money, and I do recommend this place.

Just had my first visit with Angelica Rosario, and she is incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly where my issues were that she worked on immediately. You can tell she is extremely experienced. I can’t wait to go to my next appointment with her.

I visited My Alignment for the first time today. It was wonderful. The environment is comfortable and relaxing. Khaled, my massage therapist was very intentional in understanding what was needed and in providing follow up solutions. Very professional! I would absoulutely recommended giving it a try.

It was my first experience getting a deep tissue massage, Khaled knew how to make me feel safe and comfortable. He explained throughout the massage what he was doing, which i appreciated. He finished with some relaxation, felt very good & relaxed afterwards! I highly recommend

Deep tissue massages are supposed to hit deep tissue, 75 mins of my back getting slapped and aggressively friction rubbed. Two stars because the masso therapist was polite and professional

I've seen Khaled twice now and highly recommend this place and his service! He is very attentive, and knew what was needed even if I wasn't sure. He explains everything well, gave some stretches at the end of the session to help, and followed up with an email with some extra tips and tricks to help relieve tension and improve posture at home. I noticed a huge difference even after just one session, will definitely continue coming here.

By far the best clinic in town! We go for treatments every month! Staff is very knowledgeable and they make you feel very comfortable. Very nicely decorated also! Highly recommend to anyone that is in need for relaxation, injury treatments, deep tissue or relaxation.

They have a very simple online booking system which makes the process very easy to schedule an appointment.

I had a wonderful massage here with Khaled. He took time before the massage to check my mobility and understand where my problem areas were. He did an amazing job working through a lot of knots and I left feeling so much better. He truly went above and beyond. I’m so happy I tried this place!
