Truly the best upscale Indian in Montreal. So disappointed that it closed. Waiting for news on a potential new opening

Absolutely terrible food. Have ordered twice and been severely disappointed both times. And for their prices the quality of the food is very lacking. They somehow combine all the ingredients that they can get and turn the whole thing into this bland unappetizing mixture. Far from any decent quality proper Indian food. I'd give this place a skip if I loved my wallet or my taste buds.

The best restaurant for Indian food in Montreal, delicious and authentic indian taste. I'm curious to dining there. I know its virtual kitchen, but if you can serve in dining. Then it would be best place for Indian food. Thanks.

I ordered on ubereat. I can appreciate that the restaurant used cardboard packaging, but the curry leaked oil everywhere. They use brown meat for the butter chicken, which had bones and cartilage; it was very unusual and quite a turn-off when you don't expect it. The lamb curry also looked and tasted like beef; I recommend skipping lamb dishes unless you don't mind this. I really wanted to like this restaurant after reading the other reviews, but no.

Ordered Chicken Kathi Roll, Biryani and firni. None of which had authentic Indian taste. The Kathi Roll was soggy and oily. The Biryani portion is small and just received more pieces potatoes and chicken than the actual fragrant rice. It also lacked flavour, and the rice was mushy. The firni is a Bengali/east Indian dessert which is supposed to be a set rice pudding, however the one I received was like a payasam, and very liquidy. It lacked taste, fragrance and the much needed sweetness. Overall overpriced and not worth it.

My favorite was the royal chicken, so good and the bread shahi paratha is sooo good, better than naan bread yum.

The food is tasty, the Lamb Rogan Josh and Chili Chicken were excellent. Butter Chicken, was ok, I've better. Generous amount of meat, but my included rice was forgotten.
I was disappointed that the Shahi Paratha was flattened and folded into a bag, took away from the fluffy and flaky nature of the paratha. Also one paratha was much thicken than the other, however taste of the paratha was good. The Mango Lassi was way too salty, more like a salty lassi, not what someone wants when they order a Mango Lassi. If it was their attempt to create a unique spin on the Lassi based on their name "Namak" which means salt, it should be specified on the menu that it is a salty mango lassi.

Ordered through UberEats, absolutely delicious! High quality ingredients and a menu that goes beyond classic Punjabi dishes (although these seem to be made in an equally excellent fashion). Looking forward to try more!

I ordered their butter chicken, lamb and shrimps for my mom’s birthday dinner and I was not disappointed!
Everything was fresh, and the portion sizes were perfect for two people.
I would definitely advise everyone to order extra flat bread. It was light and buttery - absolutely delicious! I ordered two extra because I knew that I’d be dipping it in the leftover sauces.
I’m so glad that I tried this new restaurant. I think that it is now my go place for quality Indian food. Really well done and congratulations to the owners!
One note: could you please add a note on the menu for people with food allergies? It would be good to know if there are peanuts in any of the dishes or sauces.

Exceptional food and great portions! If you’re craving some authentic Indian food, you shouldn’t look any further. They’ve got the best biryani I’ve eaten out of India and their shrimp malai curry and shahi parathas are to die for!

The chef and management deserve special praise, they go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied!:)

I just ordered and picked up the food via Uber eats (current deal going on) and when I tell you this is the best Indian/Pakistani food I’ve had in Montréal! Was recommended by a friend. I ordered butter chicken. Their parathas are to die for! Amazing quality. I hope they don’t reduce their quality like all food chains do after opening for a while. Next on my list to try is their biryani. I was hesitant to order as I wanted to try some of their food first. Definitely 10/10. Hats off to Tanvir and the best part is it’s Halal!

I can’t wait for COVID to be over so I can go to the restaurant and dine in.

Ordered through uber eats. It’s the same kitchen as the siam. The butter chicken was delicious and the biryani was really tasty too. I loved the mango lassi although I’m not sure it was made with fresh mango (canned mango?). I highly recommend this place. Probably the best indian food downtown now.
