Nil Bleu (Le)

Super soirée! Pour en avoir entendu parler maintes fois en bien, ce fut une première tout à fait à la hauteur de mes attentes. La bouffe est savoureuse, fraîche et les portions sont généreuses. Le service était impeccable, pas de serveuse au-dessus de l'épaule trop présente mais toujours là au bon moment. Je retournerai définitivement et je n'ai aucun souci à recommander cette merveille.

J’ai choisi Le Nil Bleu pour célébrer avec un grand groupe. Considérant que plusieurs personnes ont confirmer leur présence à des moments différents, la communication pour la réservation a été courtoise et efficace.

La nourriture est bonne et exactement ce qu’on y attendait. Le décor feutré est chaleureux. C’est une institution montréalaise parfaite pour une date en tête à tête ou un gros groupe.

Que dire, que dire. D'abord je veux remercier le NIl Bleu d'avoir fait de notre soirée une réussite totale. Tous nos invités ont été enthousiasmés par le restaurant. Quand à moi je voudrais remercier tout particulièrement le personnel en salle et en cuisine. Tous des professionnels de haut niveau. Encore merci et à la prochaine.

We love Le Nil Bleu every time we go. There's a great variety of vegetarian options that are wonderful and delicious, their have a great drinks menu, and the servers are kind and accommodating. Our only issue is the food tastes so good, we always eat too much!

Tout était absolument copieux et délicieux. J'ai pris le menu dégustation pour une personne et je n'avais plus de place pour le dessert après ça! Le service était chaleureux, attentionné et impeccable. Ça faisait des années que je n'y étais pas allée et je n'attendrai plus aussi longtemps pour ma prochaine visite. En plus, c'était un endroit parfait pour accommoder mon amie végétarienne car il y a également une version végétarienne du menu dégustation et même plusieurs options véganes.

The establishment was very clean, the food was exeptionnal! I had the pleasure of being served by a woman named Fiorella. Her service was absolutely impeccable. I recommend you go try the food at the restaurant. I tried dinning alone for the first time and It was overall an amazing experience. Another remark about the food is that it was quote on quote different from what I am use to! I mean this in the most positive way possible!

Wow wow wow, as an Ethiopian, what a great pleasure to have a meal like this. My husband and I came here from Toronto and every thing about this place exceeded our expectations. The detail in the decor and the cleanliness of the washrooms were the Cherie on top. We were served by the Beautiful manager and Gabriel (he walks and speaks so elegant). Overall, we will for sure comeback. Thank you owners, pls open another location in Toronto

This place has some of the best food I’ve had with the amazing service that you typically wouldn’t get at an Habesha restaurant. I never got her name but I think she’s the owner, she does such a great job of making you feel welcome and at home. Service quality is beyond amazing not just for an Ethiopian restaurant but any dining establishment I’ve been to. I’ve consistently for years going back to 2016 and have always been impressed. Thank you so much for making a great habesha/Ethiopian dining experience.

We had a wonderful evening with friends to celebrate a birthday.
The food and service were wonderful, we all plan to return.

I love Ethiopian food in general and absolutely loved the flavors offered at Nil Bleu. They also have marked vegan options which is great!

Première expérience avec la cuisine Éthiopienne! Le restaurant en soit est très beau, des plat colorés et savoureux, bon service et très belle ambiance. Bref, j’y retournerai et je vous conseille fortement d’essayer! Bravo

Dinner was superb, especially for us since we are vegetarians. Thoroughly enjoyed the sample vegetarian platter. The fours options were creatively spiced. The only experience we missed was the warm cloth to wash our hands prior to receiving our dinner. We will know next time!

The food is excellent and so worth the experience but we were disappointed by the service during this visit. With a reservation, the host seemed quite bothered by our arrival and then we were offered dessert twice when our main course had not arrived yet. The wait in between appetizer and main meal was over 30 minutes. We felt quite forgotten by the waiter. We had to work to get our bill after eating. The service detracted from the delicious and flavorful food the restaurant provides. We will return but will hope for a more welcoming host and mindful waitstaff.

It was the first time for my wife eating Ethiopian food and it was one of the best I've tried so far. My wife loved it and definitely wants to go back.food and drinks were wonderful

Absolutely love this restaurant, third time there and we took the tasting platter for 2.never disappoints. Portions seem to have gotten a little smaller from what I remember but the taste is delicious. Highly recommend if you wanna try something different.

Bonne découverte et première fois dans un restaurant éthiopien. La nourriture est savoureuse et le fait de manger sans couverts ajoute beaucoup de convivialité. Le service était impeccable.
La salle du bas est plus agréable car moins bruyante pour discuter.
