Best place in Montreal for fresh handmade noodles. Typical chinese restaurant. Quick service for an eat and go, staff is friendly. On my list of regular restaurants I go.

Good basic Chinese food; typical diner food here. Large portions but the menu is not extensive. The general Tao had NO meat inside- it was all fluffy filler. Tasty, sure, but where’s the meat?
Good noodles.
I recommend the beef noodles and wonton soup.
Cash only also hurts but likely keeps the price down.

Great spot for quick service sit down. The food was delicious and service was prompt. A small location therefore, the turnaround time to eat and get up is quick. Be aware, it’s only cash- no credit cards

I ordered number 19 which was spicy noodle soup with meat. There was barely any meat, the broth tasted like spicy water and the noodles were extremely overcooked. The server chose his own tip as well.

First, let’s try to get a few points across:
1) Yes, it is cash-only. So, either come prepared or skip it.
2) Yes, it is a small restaurant. Therefore, lineups build up easily during peak times.
3) Yes, the service is quick. As a result, lineups may advance fast but, you may feel rushed as well.
4) Yes, the food is good. However, don’t expect it to blow your mind.

Now, depending on how you ponder those points and on how long you waited in line, you will decide if it was worth it or not.

Last, this is not the kind of restaurant to sit down for an hour. It is more for a pit stop or takeout, unless you go when it’s not busy.

Whenever I'm in Chinatown and have cash on me, I get excited because I know Noodle Factory exists.

Ate in. Fast service, courteous staff. We had beef chow mein, general tso's chicken, wonton soup, hunan dumplings. All on par.highly recommended

As a Chinese, usually I’m not a big fan of westernized Chinese food, but the Chow Mein they made is just so good that I cannot refuse.

Delicious as usual and they cater to your specific requests when asking not to include certain ingredients in a dish. I don't know how but the food gets done in literally 5 minutes.

This place has been the first place to hit for dinner after arriving in Montreal as per my friends and my old ritual. Amazing food for a decent price. My one and only Chinese restaurant in Montreal. Don't lose it!

Honestly some of the best noodles I have had, I miss these noodles so much when I am travelling.

Tout petit restaurant chaleureux où l'on voit les cuisiniers préparer les plats. J'ai été très bien servi et rapidement! Très bon rapport qualité prix, les portions sont grandes. Mon petit plat nouilles au porc avec du concombre était très bon et m'a bien réchauffé par ce temps glacial?

This was truly a magical experience. If you love high quality Asian food, this is going to be your new favorite spot. Easy access and a few minutes away from the Place-d'Armes metro station, our experience did not disappoint. Spreading the word to others that this is a must try spot if you are ever in Montreal.

Highly recommended, we gave it a try while walking around Chinatown and the old port. Everyone enjoyed the excellent food and the outstanding service. We will be going back with friends. Don't forget to bring cash!

Very tasty with generous portions. We ordered the chicken Chow Mein and veg crispy noodles which were done really well, with a lot of flavor and spicy just like we asked. Even 1 noodles portion size is good for 2 with average diet.
The spicy oil on the table was really great too.

The salt and pepper shrimp batter was a little dense so maybe will try something else next time. Vegetarian dumplings were bland so can be passed.

Ended up here while walking through China Town. Loved the food, flavourful, fresh and very generous portions. I would come back here. The only downside is they only accept cash, not even débit. So make sure you carry cash when ordering from here.

We tried the fried noddle, steamed pork dumpling and general Tao chicken. All of them were so good. Especially the sauce on general Tao. Very tasty.

Good variety of vegetarian dishes, and a nice variety of dumplings to choose from! The general Tao chicken was so good, along with their hand pulled noodles and scallion pancake. Very budget friendly!

Absolutely awful food. The portions are big but the food is gross, the oil is burnt, the meat is fatty and overcooked, greasy, just totally disgusting. We ordered five dishes and threw out 95% of the food. Do not eat here. Should be shut down.

Not bad just really need to change the front door it is very misleading. The food was okay and can't complain about the dim sum.

The Noodle Factory never disappoint in flavor! It's a small place and you might need to wait to be sitted when it's crowded but the service is so fast that once you are sitting down you won't have to wait long before all the delicious food is in front of you. They give you large plates that are perfect for sharing with your friends and loved ones!

Ça faisait des années que je passais devant ce restaurant et nous y sommes finalement allés. Service très rapide, plats généreux et très bons. Ils n'acceptent que le paiement en argent comptant. Les raviolis frits étaient les meilleurs que j'ai mangé à Montréal. J'y retournerai définitivement!

Bumped into this place and found it very cozy- with amazing food! Try their Shu mai and their noodles! The servers are really nice - pleasant. Wish they have more branches! Will definitely go back bringing family and friends!

J'adore aller manger là! Pratiquement pas d'attente, bon service efficace, menu simple, tout y est délicieux choix de nouilles, riz, dim sum servis très copieusement avec des legumes et des sauces maison. C'est abordable et on ne traine pas piur manger. Il faut juste prévoir du cash ils n'acceptent que ce moyen de paiement.

Small restaurant, terrible decor and set up, floor was so dirty, saw one of the cooks picking his nose since the kitchen is semi open, didn’t like how the employees were yelling at each other from across the room in chinese to communicate when the place is so small and not crowded or loud. They made the room loud and i couldn’t hear my mom talking when she was sitting right in front of me. The service was extremely quick and efficient, I liked our waiter. The food was really good and really affordable. It’s a cash only place however so make sure you have cash. The steamed dumplings were out of this world and they gave me a peanut butter sauce at no extra charge which i found really nice. The wonton soup was really satisfying, so many wontons in the bowl and the broth was very tasty and warm. The chicken general tao and steamed rice were delicious, good food and was left with leftovers. 2 people ate for 30$ i’m more than happy even with the off decor and personel.

Very disappointed in my noodle soup. Is was just ok had much better at other Chinese restaurants. Since this was the noodle factory I would have expected much better. The noodles were fine the broth was not that flavorful.

Best place to eat in a hurry in china town. Service is as fast as it can get. I recommend the Shanghai noodles. Cash only.

A small restaurant located in the heart of Chinatown. Although not the most elegant place you soon forget about the decor with the warm welcome from the team here. Food is very good and inexpensive. Service is rapid and on point. Have eaten here many times and it never disappoints.

Difficile à digérer, on ne s'est pas senti bien en sortant pendant une bonne heure. Pour le goût, les dumplings sont bons, les plats de nouilles ordinaire.

Excellent! Staff trop sympa. Mes nouilles sont fraises et bonnes. La viande est très tendre et fond dans la bouche. Le bœuf et la poulet surtout. Raviolis sont excellents aussi. Merci au personnel!

Very quick service, fairly tasty, but loud and msg-ridden food. It's basically exactly what you'd expect from a quick and easy fast food Chinese place. Perfect if that's what you're looking for.

Stir-fry Handmade Noodles and Beef 4/5 - my girlfriend ordered this dish and she loved how fresh and perfectly cooked the noodles where, her only gripe was that she thought is was under seasoned.

We ordered take out which usually means that your food is either soggy, cold or both; and to my surprise the food was perfect by the time we got back to our room.

The big take away was that the noodles and dumplings were cooked perfectly and could tell they were fresh, you tell by the taste and consistency that the dumplings were not premade or siting all day. This noodles shop is a head by a mile compared to anything I've had in Ottawa.
