The place was COLD, i had to keep my jacket on because it was freezing, i was ready to put my hat and earmuffs back on.but then i think the priest would have given me a dirty look.and parts of the ceiling had clear water damage of some sort where the paint was flaking off.it looked so bad if you looked up.

The low rating is for the POOR AUDIO QUALITY of the Sunday morning live broadcasts. This a great parish and church (5 STARS!) and we are grateful for the Sunday morning live video broadcasts of the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist in both Italian and English.
HOWEVER, during the past several weeks, the AUDIO QUALITY of these broadcasts has been HORRENDOUSLY DISTORTED. Whoever is responsible for setting up the broadcasts needs to TURN DOWN THE MIC VOLUME ON THEIR MIXER BOARD. The OVERLY HIGH SETTING OF THE MIC LEVEL creates this DISTORTED sound. Please note that THE ORGAN FEED/VOLUME DOES NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
This is a simple fix but NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE to fix this problem. Listening to this kind of distorted audio is dangerous and can cause even worse hearing loss in our beloved senior family members. PLEASE, have someone relay this message to the technician responsible for the Sunday morning audio/video setup and broadcasts. Mille grazie.

-Today, July 9: NO BROADCAST of the Holy Eucharist in Italian at 9: 30 on Facebook; this is disappointing to MANY, MANY, MANY housebound seniors who were looking forward to the broadcast.
-Today, Sunday June 25,2023 the video broadcast started EARLY BEFORE the actual starting of the Mass! Thank you! -
-Please keep in mind that there are hundreds of house-bound seniors-not all from this parish-who only speak Italian and who really look forward to tuning into this Celebration of the Holy Eucharist every Sunday.
-With their generous donations, MANY of these devoted parishioners were instrumental in building and sustaining the Consolata Parish throughout past decades! They can watch dozens of LIVE masses broadcast directly from Italy BUT their own parish right here in Montreal ALWAYS has technical problems with the broadcast of the Sunday Celebration of the Holy Eucharist and ALSO BLOCKS any people who publicly point out this shortcoming from being able to even access the Consolata Parish Facebook page.
-Dear Father Paolo, if you are not aware of this please check into it. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING CERTAIN THAT THE SUNDAY 9: 30 BROADCASTS TAKE PLACE ON A CONSISTENT BASIS AND WITHOUT PERSISTENT TECHNICAL PROBLEMS? !
