Nouveau Maison Kam

J'ai l'impression qu'il y a deux groupes, les vrai qui vont en Chine environ 3 ou 4 mois par année et les acteurs.

Entre juin et septembre, mon repas favoris goute vraiment mauvais, d'autant plus que je ne vois pas les propriétaires.

Donc ils vont dans leurs pays, mais les remplaçant sont des acteurs, ils ne connaissent pas la recette!

On a pris du riz au poulet avec des nouilles frites au boeuf.

Les portions sont immenses! Mais rien goite bon entre juin et septembre.

Le restaurant est remplit d'asiatique entre septembre et mai, ce qui démontre une partie de ma théorie.

There was a nice lady that works there pointed at a table, haven't sat down the guy that was on the phone at the cash rudely yell, " how many people? " We said 6 and he yell " "small table! " If there was 0 star, I wouldnt even put any star. I love supporting small businesses.but not this one, I rather take my money somewhere else

Called at 4Pm for a pick up for 6: 30 Pm. Got there and the one who took the call forgot to process the order. Instead of apologizing he said rudely ‘’ You have to wait 30 mins or cancel your order’’ ‘’ It’s rush hour you know ‘’. It would have been faster if I ordered from KamShing in Cote Des Neiges. Better quality and better service. Never again.

When we walked in we were the only one, some people started coming after. Guy at the cash, unwelcoming. Doesn’t acknowledges customers coming in, not only us. Basic thing such as water is missing. Someone else has to get up see him to ask for water when he is standing behind the cash starring at the door. He just doesn’t looks like he wants to be there. Same guy serving all customers. Raised his tone saying “she already told me” when one of asked for a spoon without knowing another person already did. Ordered for 7 adults and 3 kids and the food came pretty quick. Server is nonchalant, dry with his responses or tone, seems like he is annoyed by presence or by making him work. Food was okay, bit to salty to our liking but that’s each their own. Rice was good though. I get big family with kids are a lot and loud. Usually only care how the food ends up but this guy is lacking the minimum expected in service. He needs help serving clients or just needs better training on customer service. Whoever comes here I wish them someone else is working that day.

The peanut butter dumplings were great a month ago, this week it seems like they replaced the meat by cruchy cabbage. It wasn't good at all. The chicken chop suey came with no dried noodles as the described. Very disappointed.

Basically the only authentic west island chinese restaurant that compares to chinatown. I came here across the years.

This place has improved a lot and offer a great selection of dishes. Everything is packed well and hot. Great flavors!

Authentique. Super bon. Thé, 2 won ton, general Tao, boeuf brocoli, sauté riz au poulet. 29$+tx!

I'm of Chinese origin, and whenever I feel like having some good authentic Chinese dishes, like how my Mom does, this is my go to place in the West Island. The seasoning and the taste is just on point! Not too salty and not greasy at all!

It's unfortunate that a simple question asking what the reasoning is behind not being able to change a dish in a combo leads to this review. I was honestly asking what the reason is for the rule of not being able to change an item, when an employee referred me to Wok Cafe? I'm calling Maison Kam? So you're complaining about the menu when you don't know the history he tells me! When I reminded him I was his client he said so? I said bye. First of all, this restaurant doesn't seem to focus on quality in their ingredients by nickle and diming to make ends meet or profit. The food is subpar that they should at least provide great customer service. I will never and don't suggest anyone support this business. It's not the first time that the service is bad but so is the food.

Always hate giving bad feedback but this was the WORST chinese food I have ever had of the 15+ cities I've tried chinese food.

The szechuan beef smelled unappetizing the minute it was opened.

The beef was tasteless and dry, the sauce was. I don't even know what that was. Being beef with broccoli, we counted about 3 pieces of broccoli.

Ordered through Door Dash, it is clear this restaurant didn't want to serve us the best food- probably since we can't go back and complain.

If you're in the W Island, recommend La Perla restaurant for taste and quality.

NOTE TO RESTAURANT RESPONSE-
The order was last Thurs. We were too hungry/annoyed and scrambling to find dinner since we couldn't eat this. According to DoorDash, there's nothing they can do. And we're out $30.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. C’était mon restaurant préféré il y des années mais c’est fini je ne retournerai plus jamais.

It's just in front my apartment haha, close and good food, certainly it's a better place that I founded for Chinese meals

J'adorais cette place avant c'était tellement bon avec de bonne portion mais apres m'avoir servis des wontons passé date je déconseille cette endroit pour le prix ca ne vaut vraiment plus la peine d'être malade

I adore this place very much.theres a great feeling. The meals are wonderful.the service is efficient and the crew is courteous. The cost is satisfactory.greatly recommend.

Best Chinese food i have ever tasted. And thats everytime ive went there. I wish the combos had more plates in them but, the portions themselves are good.

Recommending choice "C" the chicken cashew (as extra), general tao, beef brocoli, chicken fried rice and egg rolls.

Pas bon du tout et pas gouteux.dans le menu Combos a $11.95 j'ai pris un général tao vraiment dégulasse et mou avec trop de sauce et trop sucré, ensuite un boeuf a l'orange qui étais pas bon du tout loin d être croustillant et shop suey au poulet vraiment ordinaire sans gout et tout les plats venais avec du riz qui prenais plus de la moitié du plat, beaucoup trop de riz par rapport au repas.allez ailleurs pour manger du chinois même s'il y a pas beaucoup de bon restaurant chinois dans L'ouest de L'ile.

Finest food, super nice employees, constantly great vibes. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is great. Keep it up.

After waiting an hour and a half with a couple of phone calls in between and promises it is on its way, our supper arrived cold. The food was very salty and not very good. First and last time for this place.

It’s been a couple of years since I had takeout from here. Now I remember why I stopped. I ordered a simple meal from the menu for 3. They forgot the appetizers and substituted something without my knowledge. When I called to notify them. I was passed off to some guy who was rude and unapologetic. Couldn’t have cared less about the problem

I ordered 2 things (gen tao and beef brocoli). It's been exactly 1 hour and 30 mins.the road is clear there is no snow why is it taking so much time.

Very generous portions.good food. I wouldn't recommend the fried rice I tossed my cookies after eating it. Inconsistent food quality, sometimes good, sometimes extremely oily.

No Chinese Restaurant in Laval delivering food on a Wednesday and we had a celebration so they accepted a minimum $100 order plus nice tip to the delivery driver. In Covid-19 times you remember companies who go above and beyond even when all this is history. You got a new happy customer!

Ce restaurant a changé, car c'est sec et sans saveurs! Dommage car c'était bon avant le changement de propriétaire ou de cuisiiners!

Disrespectful manager.

My mother came to pick her order. She left and walked to the bus stop. An employee ran across the parking lot calling my mother a thief. She turned around and showed him the bill. He said ''nevermind'' and walked back. My mother was embarassed and furious that this employee did not bother to apologize. I then called Maison Kam and asked for the manager and he said ''it was a mistake, get over it''. Later that night, I don't know how, but the employee found me on facebook and apologized via messeger.

It's a shame. We used to order from here every week/other week.

I had been craving some good Chinese food since covid hit and closed everything down. I picked up a #8 from here tonight, and can't give enough praise. The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Generous portions as well. The staff (I'm assuming owners) were very friendly and nice. Will be ordering from here frequently in the future. Great job Maison Kam!
