Wonderful friendly service, great staff, quiet location very close to the railway station, shopping area, arts district and churches

Good value hotel with modern rooms for a stay in downtown Montreal. I would like to single out the delicious breakfast buffet they have every morning.

Nice clean rooms with no view. Coffee machines don't seem to work well though. Called for service but Nespresso machine kept giving 1cm of coffee. Not what I expected. And the soap and shampoo dispensers do not work well at all. Please invest in amenities.

Hôtel idéalement situé, entre Mont Royal ey le vieux port. Permet de visiter la ville à pied pour ceux qui aiment marcher en découvrant de nouveaux horizons.
Le petit déjeuner est très bien et les chambres conforme aux Novotel, c'est à dire très confortables.

Pas de micro-ondes et le frgo est plein de boissons à consommer. Pas de place pour ajouter des choses.

Apparently their parking structure is a hub for criminals to leave their stolen vehicles and when you're trying to locate it because the police won't help the managers refuse to help you.

I wasnt a big fan of the breakfast, but it was not bad, and the rest of the experience was fantastic.

Great service (friendly staff), perfectly located downtown. My room was clean and modern. Only downside is the view from my room was the roof of the building + some view of the tower right beside. I recommend the Novotel regardless of that view!

Good location and reasonable rates, but the "Executive" Suites seem to have an unwanted feature. I don't really understand why there needs to be a window into the bathroom, this is probably one of the most unnecessary and space-wasting layouts I've seen in a hotel bathroom. Maybe it makes sense if you're the only one staying in the room or like to watch your partner brush their teeth, but otherwise it's just weird and not mentioned anywhere at booking.

Also get there early if you plan on using the parking complex before a big event at the Bell Centre.

Very convenient location (center of downtown), clean and spacious rooms, only the basic amenities however.

The hotel restaurant has food that is fine, but nothing to write home about. Beer selection is definitely lacking.

It is really nice hotel when we visited there. The place is clean from the reception and the room is really comfy. There's a small window so that you can view what's going on outside the place. It is near St. Catherine street so expect that the area is lively until around 2AM especially on weekends. The hotel is near Metro Peel (Green Line) and Metro Lucien L'Allier (Orange Line) but I suggest you take the green line because you don't wanna walk all the way up. Yeah the road is a little bit upward from the orange metro to the hotel. Overall, the place is in Downtown, a lot of area to check, near Metro station and the staff are friendly!

Centrally located, not fancy by US standards, but comfortable. Note that unlike US cities, in Montreal, the city center does not die after business hours or on the weekend. Convenient parking in the attached public garage; if you pay through the hotel, you get in-and-out privileges at no added charge. There are also other parking lots nearby.

Most incredible shower I've ever had in a hotel. Rain shower and detachable nozzle options. They were courteous and everything was easy.

Location was perfection! 2 minute walk to St. Catherine Street. Room was large and clean, but I did notice several lights were blown and there was no information booklet about the hotel (only a menu for the restaurant downstairs). Parking garage with access through the hotel was a plus. I would stay here again.

Surprisingly modern accommodations at fare prices with friendly staff. Walking distance to lots of downtown shopping and dining.

No air conditioning on a hot summer day? Check. Offering body wash and shampoo but no conditioner or lotion? That's a first. Finding fresh dried blood on your bed sheet that wasn't yours THE NEXT MORNING?
That's going public. Sound like a 2 star motel? You'd be wrong. Look no further than Novotel by Accor hotels. To compensate, they had the nerve to offer me a free breakfast. Free. Breakfast. For a major health and safety violation.

For anyone wanting to stay downtown, stay away from any Accor-related establishment. You'll be glad you did. Unless you want free breakfast over a major screw up.

Newly refurbished hotel. Room was clean, quiet and really convenient. Good breakfast buffet option at affordable prices. We really enjoy staying there.

Not cheap but very well situated nice hotel with spacious rooms and good breakfast. Book on accor site for best deals

Me and my friends went stayed here for a concert a while ago and it was a nice room but before we left we noticed that on a desk there was a peice of wood on the back of it that had fallen off (which could have been screwed back on in one minute) and as we were checking out they said there was damages to the room and that we had to pay 150$ even tho we obviously didn't break that table seeing as it was in a small corner for the room and just didn't make sense. So moral of the story check the room as soon as you get in there.

Good room and great bed would be higher rating but over $300 for a night and no breakfast was not good value for the money. Breakfast on the expensive side also.

Conveniently located downtown Montreal. All you may need during your stay is just close by: Public transportation as bus, subway, STM shuttle to or from the airport, Arena to see memorable Hockey game, banks, ATM, bars, restaurants, and so one.
