We stumbled upon this restaurant in the afternoon and made reservations for dinner that night to try them out.

Dinner was exceptional as was the ambience and service! Felt like we were in a village pub in the UK!

Les parpadelles aux champions étaient très bonnes.

Mais c'est surtout le service qui m'a tellement impressionné. Une équipe attentionnée, souriante et efficace.

Nous étions un groupe de 20 personnes et nous avons tous été servis en même temps. Le Chowder et l'apérol sprintz étaient excellents! Je recommande.

Really nice food and especially their duck poutine. Service was a bit slow but the place is usually crowded so it's understandable. There was a 10 min waiting line for the washrooms though so please plan in advance.:)

Just a very well done Montreal Pub experience. Simple, affordable and cosy! The service was just incredibly fast and efficient. Always our first choice before going to a show in the Quartier des spectacles.

Good chic place to grab a drink with friends.
Had a waiting line to get a table, so check before or come early as it gets crowded later.
We ordered drinks and some snacks this time.
Overall nice place to hangout mainly for drinks.

Beau pub où il est agréable de prendre un verre entre amis, avec un bon choix de bières, bien situé au centre-ville près du métro Place-des-Arts. Bonne bouffe, belle ambiance. Seul bémol: c'est un peu bruyant et plutôt achalandé.

Cool pub for cocktails and food! Our server was apparently not having the greatest night but we had fun! Good place to grab a drink before heading out on the town

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Had the bison burger, outstanding. The fries are amazing as well, almost wanted to order extra but the burger was huge

Terrible service. 1) Beer was warm 2) the place was not full and took a while for the waitress to arrive 3) our beer glasses were half full the waitress came and asked if we wanted another beer, we said no, and she promptly came back with 2 glasses of water and the bill, sort of "get away if you are not going to have another one. " I know you just want our money, but no need to be that so obvious and rude! I will never go back, for sure.

Exceptional food. The fish and chips are fantastic. I had more than I can eat and I'm a big guy. The atmosphere was very relaxed with big garage doors that open to the street. The waitress was very friendly and fast

Stopped by for a quick burger before seeing some jazz and was absolutely delighted with the service, the food and the atmosphere. Best burger I have had in years. Fresh cut fries were perfect too. Will definitely come back.

Really nice surprise of a place. The service and bartenders were friendly and they have really, really good food.

The onion soup and mushroom pappardelle was awesome. Honestly some of the best food we found I think Montréal.

Do not allow the fact that this establishment is a bar to deceive you, as it boasts exceptional cuisine that has pleasantly surprised me. In particular, their poutine can be considered the epitome of excellence. From the various dishes I have sampled, a delightful medley of flavors dances on the palate, creating a symphony of taste. The food not only delights the senses with its deliciousness but also creates an intimate and emotive dining experience. I wholeheartedly endorse and strongly recommend visiting this remarkable place.

Great staff, great food, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices! Best burger I’ve had in a very long time. Without a doubt I’ll be returning next time I’m in Montreal

Great friendly local bar. We had the duck salad, classic poutine, a session IPA and Chardonnay.
The waiting staff were all very friendly and informative on the menu and available drinks.
I can see why it is so popular. We sat in one of the little alcoves outside.

It was an extremely busy night.and we were still served courteously. The food was very good as well.

Great food, fantastic atmosphere. Could go back more more times as the menu was great. Highly recommend.

Fast service, great drinks, and wonderful atmosphere. The staff is always attentive. We had some really complicated cocktail orders and the bartender made sure our drinks were just the way we wanted them. Also our waitress Amelia was really professional and on point with the delivery. We recommend them endlessly!

Lieu accueillant et agréable. Excellente bière de micro.

Par contre, la poutine est horrible, c'est à croire que le cuisinier a échappé le pot d'épices dans la sauce, ça goûte les épices à tourtière ou à creton, cannelle, girofle, quatre-épices. C'est vraiment pas idéal.

Autre point: le poulet était mal cuit dans mon burger de poulet. Ça roulait en bouche. Mais ça passe. Les erreurs arrivent. Ce qui est moins l'fun c'est que la serveuse a eu l'excellente idée de s'obstiner, que c'était "impossible à cause de leur technique à deux cuisson".

Normally I like the food at NYKS but the poutine last night was gross. It had an overpowering taste of what I guess was cinnimon. Normally I give them 4 stars on food but this time.nope

Bon restaurant au centre ville, menu classique avec quelques plats du moment, j'ai essayé les moules aux fromages bleus qui étaient très bonnes,
Il y a une petite terrasse très sympathique pour les couples.

Merci NYKS pour votre service hors pair, votre menu et votre ambiance pub idéale pour se réchauffer l’hiver ou profiter de votre terrasse l’été. Mon coup de coeur avant un spectacle!

I liked their poutine made with foie gras sauce and the fries are perfect, the burger is basic good and i didn’t like their cocktails menu!
