I honestly am struggling to find words to explain the horrible experience i had at O coiffure. From the customer service, the staff, the actual result of my hair - literally every aspect of my experience was absolutely horrible. I left the salon in tears twice due to how they treated me. I wasn’t even sure if i wanted to post this review because of how much they intimidated and threatened me to the point where i’m honestly scared to be writing as I don’t want to re-experience the harassment and manipulation felt at the salon. For context, I am a student and I went in for a kératine treatment - I had warned them that my hair is really curly and they reassured me saying they’ve done this many many times and they were confident that it would work on me. So i trusted them and booked the appointment. To my surprise, after washing my hair for the first time after, it was as if no product was there, and my hair quality actually felt worse than before. I went back to show them and tell them i’m unhappy with the results and right away they made me feel like they were doing me a favor by offering to fix the areas that needed (when it actually should be given, most importantly it should’ve been done properly the first time - especially when they praise themselves as being the best salon in town and charge you 600 CAD for a scam of a treatment). Worst of all, I had to stand there and listen to this man at the salon i don’t know if he’s a manager or a stylist - middle aged man (30-40s, blond long hair and a beard) - he was gaslighting me and mansplaining to me that he can’t predict why the kératine didn’t work and word for word said “maybe your hormones/mindset were off that day, and maybe the sunlight hit your hair in a way” and started going into detail about how if i sit in the sun i might burn when he won’t (completely irrelevant, i know, but just for context to show you how much he manipulated me). I finally agreed to try fix it the week after. However, in the meantime i had to get a brushing because my hair was horrible like that so i went to a different salon because i was too uncomfortable going back to O coiffeur and the new stylist who did my brushing told me that it was as if there was absolutely no product in my hair (actually he said this is the worst job he’s seen). I then decided to go back to O coiffeur because on top of feeling uncomfortable, I was now not willing to waste another 2 hours at the salon for the kératine to not work again. I went back to O coiffeur to ask for a refund, and explicitly said that although i know a full refund is not possible, I was hoping for at least half if not more because the product did not work AT ALL.the lady at the front desk was trying to find a solution at first. And then we were interrupted again by the man from last time (long blond hair with a beard) who came up to me and THREATENED ME by saying “i suggest you take whatever she is giving you because you’re dealing with her now, but in a minute you’re gonna have to deal with me and trust me you don’t want that”. Can you believe that he would threaten someone like that? Most of all a 20 year old student? It was obvious that he was trying to take advantage of that fact that i was young and he probably thought he could bully me and intimidate me into leaving although everyone there (including the stylist who worked on my hair) agreed that the job was badly done. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life.especially at a hair salon. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially younger people as they will most definitely try to scam you and then intimidate you and bully you into leaving. I ended getting a partial refund that was much below what i expected but i honestly was about to cry and ended up leaving. And just to tell you how manipulative they are: i asked them if you are refunding me 344 what is the difference with 400.and the lady told me “it’s the principle and it is to teach you a lesson that u cant always get what you want”. Still in shock after a week…

So happy i found this place.excellent service and very cute place.quick and efficient.after years of horrible haircut experiences, i finally found a place that actually listens to my desires.

Went with my wife for a hair style before the night out in Montreal. Couldn’t have had a better experience with both gentlemen at the bar.
They even deliver drinks to your partner getting their hair done!

Drinks are smooth and inventive and hit the spot during the hair appointment and after. Staff is pleasant and accommodating and the variety of music can relax you but also entice you to dance. The experience at this salon can easily carry you away in time and space and has you dream of Ibiza. One visit and you will be hooked for a long time.

When I moved to Montreal someone recommended O Coiffure to me and it did not disappoint. Having moved several times, finding the right hair stylist is typically the hardest part. I have used several different people to do my hair (color, cut, Keratin) and all did a wonderful job. Typically I use Dana & Ty. The service is professional and you don't need to wait weeks to get an appointment. It is pricey, but well worth it. They take pride in their work and ensuring client satisfaction.

La réceptionniste est super sympathique. Mon coiffeur: un peu moins… Il ne m’a presque pas parlé de tout le soin et ne m’a pas mis à l’aise. (Par contre la coupe est réussie) J’y retournerai, mais avec un autre coiffeur, car les autres avaient l’air sympas

I recently went to this salon for a haircut and was extremely pleased with the service. Justin washed my hair and used several products which left my hair feeling healthy and smooth. Katy cut my hair and took her time paying close attention to detail. I will certainly be back and highly recommend this salon!

From the moment I stepped in to the moment my cut was finished, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Great staff, clean and posh setting, and excellent cappuccinos! Worth the price.

Went for a deep clean facial and received a hydrating face mask, excessive product in hair and on body. To my surprise, the esthitician didn't even use gloves to touch my face. Do not recommend and will never go back.

My regular go to place for a haircut. Great haircuts, awesome service, proper hygiene (things which are very imp during COVID). Ty does an awesome job and so does Ella in the front desk.

I had an amazing experience at this salon! From the time of the booking onwards - everyone was warm and professional. I even arrived late (road trip from Ottawa), and they accommodated me (and my insanely long hair) anyway. Katy did great work with with my colour, and repaired my terrible at home Covid hair dye attempts. Ty did an amazing job on my hair! He cut and styled it exactly like the photo I showed him (his modern waves were on point). Plus, they were both super efficient and friendly. And, if that wasn’t enough; the salon has a chic little bar+cafe. Would highly recommend.

A great spa and coiffeur in downtown, they use great products and they offer various treatments. Also they have a great Terrace offering coffee and pastries in the morning and excellent cocktails in the evening. Friendly staff, highly recommended.

I was able to book online for the very same day. It was my first time here and I was very happy when I left! Ty cut and styled my hair. He was very helpful and explained how to style my new fringe at home!

Best Hairdresser I found in my entire life! I've been there for the first time 3 months ago and so sad I didn't discover them before. My hair is done by Ty and he ALWAYS do exactly on point of what I want; my hair has never been so beautiful and healthy, and never got so much compliment about my hair style. The whole team is super nice and friendly, they also have a bar and outside seating area, cocktail and wine list is incredible, seriously I had my best Iced Coffee in that place, I was really surprised!
I have also done a manucure and it is also perfectly done. Another thing, I love how it is decorated, It feels like an oasis Jungle. I will never go anywhere else, I found my happy hairdresser place.

I’m so happy with my service, I had put off getting highlights for a lot of months because of a bad experience somewhere else. Deborah did such a great colour job, it looks incredible. She was also super friendly and we chatted for the first half an hour but after that she read my mood that I wanted to read (I brought my Kobo) and let me happily read without trying to continue chatting.

Daina did my cut and blow dry, she was SO sweet. I have really thick and coarse hair, I’m used to stylists making me feel bad about the fact my hair is so dry but she made me feel great + did such a flattering cut/blow dry.

I definitely have found my new go to colour and stylist in Montreal

I adore O Coiffure & Spa. Have been going there for years, and I love the updates to the bar, salon and staff! The value is incredible, especially considering the exceptional service, experience and location.

I recently started going for blonde highlights and was recommended to go with Ty, and I'm so happy! He gave me the perfect baby blonde look I was looking for to match my skin tone (i'm not into overly toned/ silver-blonde for me). He doesn't mess around- very talented and experienced colorist. I also had my nails done with Sabrina (while waiting for my highlights to set) and she was so sweet. Talk about efficiency!

I often go between highlight appointments to get blow-drys and styling from Hugo- I love him! I've done casual looks and more fun updoes, and he always nails the look.

It's so fun to go on a girls night out, and have some cocktails on the terrace while you get ready. The cocktail menu is next level! They make everyone feel so welcome with such great vibes. I can't recommend this place enough.

Stylist, Ty, did an incredible job bleaching my whole head of dark brown hair light blonde last week! I didn't have a clear vision of how light I could get my hair, what shade would be best suited to my skin tone, or whether I would end up needing multiple appointments/damaging my hair. After walking me through the toner options, products, techniques (for colouring, blow drying, and care) Ty was able to get my hair to the perfect colour (in one bleach!) with no damage. Everyone I interacted with at O Coiffure was incredibly friendly and accommodating -I really had a lovely time there! Pricing was also very reasonable for the level of service I received and I will definitely be going back for my next cut/colouring.

J'ai eu le bonheur (et la chance!) de tomber sur Nicolas, qui a bien pris le temps de m'écouter et de me conseiller en s'appuyant sur la morphologie de mon visage. Je suis extrêmement satisfaite de ma nouvelle coupe de cheveux et je serai dorénavant une cliente de ce salon.

Love the place! I got one of the best hair cut in my life.and the colorist knows what he's doing. Every color he put in my hair was amazing and a perfect match with my skin tone.

The best haircut I've gotten ever. I really recommend this place for guys with medium/long hair. This is the first time in a long time that I am this satisfied. Medori was very attentive as to how I wanted my cut, and was very patient. She cut it exactly how I wanted it, I couldn't of asked for better!

Je suis allée au salon il y a deux semaines pour une nouvelle coloration et j'ai été extrêmement déçue du service de Deborah.
Je voulais des mèches marrons (1ere photo) et je me suis retrouvé avec des mèches jaunes (2eme photo).
j'aurai pas payé 300 $ pour avoir un tel résultat.très mauvaise expérience! Je ne reviendrai jamais! Perdez pas votre argent

I like the place. The staff is nice, but I didn't appreciate when I asked for a specific employee to work with me, it was scheduled after a month or so and then, one day before the appointment, I was notified that it couldn't be done with the person from my preference. It's okay. Things can happen, but I tried to reschedule it for the following week and it wasn't possible either. Finally, when I got at my appointment, I asked for something to the assistant who was working with me and I found the answer a bit rude, saying that if I paid X amount, that's what I get. Well, I know how much I paid and if I'm asking for something minimum to be done, it's okay if it can't be done, but you can just explain it politely. I liked the service though, I just wanted to express what I found that could be better.

I've had the pleasure of going to O Coiffure for a variety of services (eyebrows, haircuts, manicures) over the years. I'm constantly blown away by their warmth and expertise.

Their unparalleled customer service and attention to detail shone even brighter when I brought my 5 year old niece for a manicure. Rima treated her like a VIP client, and was so patient and wonderful. Days later, my niece is still raving about her multicoloured nails (yes, she insisted that we use 5 different shades of pink).

Special shout out to Laure, Zeina, and Ella for always going above and beyond.

Happened upon this place due to proximity to work, and I have to say it was the best find ever. After 20 years of looking for a salon that will listen, and do consistently good work, I have found my place! They have even gone out of their way to dye my son's hair a "fun" colour for summer, despite not typically doing this kind of colour. They go the extra mile! Highly recommend.

J'y vais pour manucure Shellack. Rima est extraordinaire. Efficace et professionnelle. Elle prend le temps de bien préparé les ongles ce qui est le secret, selon moi, de la durée de la manucure. La mienne dure toujours 3 semaines, jusqu'au prochain rendez-vous. C'est un peu plus cher que chez d'autres bars à ongle mais on est certain que ce sont les vrais produits Shellack et non pas une contrefaçon fait de produits chimiques. De plus, tous les outils sont stérilisées donc pas de crainte d'attraper des champignons des clients précédents.

Great spot, atmosphere is super alive. Lots of the latest products and techniques. Tony is a super star with the scissors. Everyone is super attentive and courteous at all times. Been going and will keep doing so!

I am am very amazed and happy with my experience with “Dreamal infusion” treatment that I started 4 weeks ago for my acnes. Result is incredible and I am very happy to see finally I am getting ride of my acnes. I have tried so many products and treatment with no results. This is just amazing.

I have been a customer at the salon for several years now. I cannot begin to explain how this place changed my face: From solely booking esthetic/hair services to also booking facial treatments. Every treatment and service is tailored to every customers’ needs. I could not let anybody else touch my eyebrows than the specialists there. Each meticulous touch and work is tailored to the needs and shape of your face. I started microdermabrasion after years of hesitation, they had recommended this treatment to get rid of my acne scars and dry skin, let me tell you, this is an addiction! I saw a huge difference after the first session, they top off the treatment with a hydra mask and upper body/face massage. Not only do you exit the salon feeling rejuvenated, but you exit feeling like you’ve hit the jackpot. I have been a loyal customer for my hair, and eyebrows, therefore my trust in them to recommend the next best thing for me and for anybody is absolute. They deliver real results and I cannot be more pleased with my new face. Highly highly recommend this salon for any of your needs. They have advanced machines and products, amazing service, the friendliest staff, and when they provide a solution, take it, you will not regret the results! I cannot stress this enough!

By far the best salon & spa experience ever! I had the best facial that I ever had with Laura, and I've had one in every major city in the US! I had the microdermabrasion and it took years off of my face! Whether it is brazilian wax, facial (with Laura), hair (with Ara for color & style), etc, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
