Ofelia is just the best. She did my hair cut, my low and high lights and like always she nailed it. I highly recommend Ofelia.

Love this place, it’s very friendly, and the owner Ofelia is as talented as she’s nice, my hair is curly and it took me 2 years of searching for the right hairdresser for my hair. Ofelia never fail to impress me and my curls! She’s is also very good with colours, honestly, and after three years with her, she never disappoints, not once. Last minute appointment and Ofelya was a delight! She used a wonderful treatment on my hair for a blowout and it was shiny and soft for days afterward. She even through in a little makeup help before I left! Can’t say enough good things about this salon!

My new go to salon! I had my hair dyed from bleach blonde to brunette, my eyebrows and makeup done and was beyond satisfied- the team was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and I never stopped smiling! The owner was honest and understanding despite my tardiness. Prices were reasonable and fair. It was a friendly atmosphere with an enthusiastic staff. My hair was dried and treated but there was no judgment and I felt INCREDIBLE and healthy upon leaving. Thank you so much Ofelia, gorgeous salon, amazing staff- so grateful for your service cant wait to return!

As unsatisfied with the service provided at O Folie I am, the most unsettling part of it is the owner’s reaction. We booked facials, blamed mix up on the person booking massages instead. Pressured us multiple times into changing for massages, even though we made it clear we were not interested.

The glass of water served while waiting had dried pieces of pink smoothie or whatever it was.

The basement was unclean, the glass table in waiting area was dusty and had glass stains all over the place. Not at all a suitable environnement for any relaxation treatment.

They didn’t have the proper staff or amount of equipment and rather then saying so, they were completely unprofessional and gave a very mediocre service. One my friend as lying there for 20 mins unattended, no one explained to her she was sharing one esthetician for 2 customers. While my other friend didn’t get a facial or any treatment on her face other then a massage and for some reason a foot massage.

Kleenex were used to remove products at every step. Although the esthetician did her best, she was constantly bouncing between us and going upstairs to get water.

BUT the worse part of this experience, is that faced with our insatisfaction, the response was to imply that the booking error was on our side. Following a negative review from my friend, the owner was completely disrespectful going straight to insults and calling us cheap.

I have no problem spending money for a service, but paying to get this kind of service is incredibly frustrating. Very telling the response from the owner on our reviews and past negative reviews from others.

Save yourself some frustration, go elsewhere.

I don’t know how this place is still in business. First of all, it’s gross, unhygienic doesn’t begin to describe it.

My 2 friends and I went in for facials, they offered us water, and the glasses were dirty. We should’ve left then. They brought us downstairs, where the decor was less of a spa ambiance and more of a rub and tug kind of place.

There were 3 of us and only 2 estheticians assigned to us. So 1 esthetician was doing both my friend and I at the same time. They were unorganized, unprepared, using Kleenex to wipe our faces. We left there with a layer of gunk on our faces. I’ll never understand how they had the audacity to charge us full price.

Save yourself your time, money, and some frustration by skipping this « spa ». I wish I could give them zero stars on this review.

EDIT: in response to their answer to my review:
1. You kept asking us if we wanted an “upgrade” and we declined repeatedly. We booked for facials, NOT massages.
2. If you couldn’t accommodate us on a Sunday afternoon, don’t book us. We were out of the building well before 5. Don’t try to make it seem like you did us a favour.
3. The only thing I do agree with you on is that a Groupon would’ve been of higher quality and service.

Professional, quick, on-time and good price. You can be in and out with a fresh blow-out in under 30 minutes. Ofelia is talented, and her emotional support pup is a sweetheart. Never dissatisfied.

Ended up paying 200$ for one color hair dye and haircut and some kertain treatment that i wasnt informed that would be charged.the owner gave it herself.the haircut was a joke my hairs not even properly cut.the owner was a nice lady but in experienced.

I booked an appointment at this place a week in advance and upon coming they said they don’t do services i asked for like powder nails. They wasted my time and blamed everything on the person who booked my appointment. On a Saturday evening i tried calling several places but couldn’t get an appointment at such a short notice. Do Not Recommend This Place

I liked a lot my experience at o folie. May did my eyebrows exactly as I wanted she’s very professional and sweet. Also I liked my hairstyle ofelia is very patient and did a great job too. I recommend without hesitation.

I should have taken the other reviews more seriously. Don’t waste your time sis. The owner is wonderful and very kind but this place needs hair stylist and nail technicians with more experience. At least I got to try it out for myself but please spend your money elsewhere. The ambiance is great though!

After a 4 hour colouring, my best friend walked out of this salon bawling her eyes out. Meanwhile I paid $200 for half a head of highlights and the privilege of blow drying my own hair.

If there is one salon I would never recommend anyone go to, it’s this one.

This “spa” was walking distance from our hotel and seemed reasonable for an impromptu couples massage.
Upon walking in, we were greeted and the aesthetics seemed nice. We were brought downstairs to the less than glamorous basement where the massages were to take place, it was then I thought we should just leave.and we should have.
The room was unsightly, the floor not swept and dirty, massage beds were covered with beach towels, and the headrests not well secured and didn’t appear all that sanitary (mine smelled). We had been left to change with little to no privacy.so we discussed quickly and my husband convinced me we should give it a try.
There was no private changing area, the basement mechanics made noise throughout the entire massage and there was no relaxing music.they made mention of it and perhaps that would have drowned out the loud noise coming from the basement equipment and upstairs, but they never turned any music on.
The room was not warm, there were no nice smells and it didn’t not offer a relaxing vibe.
His masseuse seemed much more professional and delivered a good massage, worked on his shoulder which he indicated had been bothering him and used hot towels.
My masseuse didn’t seem to have any experience, perhaps she’s the receptionist. She didn’t seem know what she was doing or how to give a massage, she applied no pressure and my back feels no different after the “massage”. She spent too much time on legs and overall I feel like she had no training or technique or any clue as to what to do. No hot towels were used.
The massage did not last an hour, we were greeted at 4: 30pm, the massage started maybe 4: 45pm? They left the room a few times and at the “end” they just left for 5 or more minutes and then came back at 5: 30pm to tell us it was over.not sure where they had gone, but we certainly didn’t receive an hour massage.
My husband was happy with his service and his masseuse made up for the less than “spa” experience.
When asked upon checkout how the massage was, I replied “good” simply because I felt bad for the woman who did such a poor job, but as I left very disappointed, it seems helpful to forewarn others.go somewhere else:)

Je me suis fait couper les cheveux par Ofelia, la propriétaire du salon. Je sentais que quelque chose n'allait pas tout au long de la coupe: elle ne semblait pas savoir ce qu'elle faisait, ses gestes étaient brusques et désordonnés. Résultat: ma coupe n'est pas belle, on voit les coups de ciseaux et j'ai mis 80$ à la poubelle. Je ne connais pas les autres coiffeurs du salon, mais je déconseille définitivement Ofelia.

My friends and I had a great time at the salon. The service was very good and the employees were very considerate. They had a tv room for my friend who was waiting for me to get done. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the owner was very kind to all of us.
I personally got my hair cut, highlighted and toned. I showed a picture of the hair color I wanted and she made it happen. I’m very satisfied with the results.
Choose this salon! Highly recommended.

I needed to cut my hair before a long week of many meetings and the salon was next to my Hotel. Ofelya, the owner, right away told me if she could change a little my hair style and after asking many things about me she knew what was the look I needed that would fit my lifestyle and work and o man I did the right thing. IT WAS THE BEST HAIR CUT I HAVE EVER HAD! She just gave me a look I always wanted but was never able to get it. Plus she retouch some of the right-lights I had and She got the color and the blend perfectly! Without many worlds, she is an artist! You should go and let her do her magic on you!

I am so pleased with the cut created by Ofelya. The environment and Ofelya’s calm attitude set me at ease. Give O’Folie a try - you will not be disappointed. Have fun!

Amazing owner (Ofelia) price, location and atmosphere like no other. Attention to detail and client satisfaction very evident. Deserves much better then 5*. What's great is that you can get your nails done by (Natalya) and hair at the same time very efficient!

The massage 'parlour' in the basement is a little sketchy.but Sergei gave a good professional massage.not your typical spa!

An unimaginable disaster. My hair is ruined, and my pockets are empty. Horrible experience, I was not listened to nor consulted on key decisions. Very harsh and reckless with my hair. Something is wrong with that place.

THE WORST MANICURE & PEDICURE I'VE EVER GOTTEN IN MY LIFE! Not only could I have painted my nails better with my eyes closed, they also filed my nails down so much that I left in pain. STAY AWAY

Really bad experience and I am a very patient person. I was told that the owner was out on vacation and the boyfriend was taking care of the business. I just went for a quick manicure and the woman who did my nails was really nice and patient to remove my shellac and do my nails. However, the owner’s boyfriend was rushing us since 5: 30pm (the close at 6) asking the manicurist every 3 mins how long she was gonna take to finish! I told her not too rush, they have to wait until we are done. But he kept pushing and pushing and yelling that he needed to go because “he had a life outside of work, he had better things to do”. He made everyone uncomfortable and did not even know what to charge me at the end. I feel bad for the employees that work there, that’s not the way you should treat your employees nor your client. At one point he even asked me if I was going to pay for his uber, because we were taking too long!
Terrible experience, definitely never going back there again.

Also, the manicure job was not the greatest for the 30$ I paid.

Ofelia did such a great job with my hair! Cutting about 10 inches was a little nerve-wracking for me, but Ofelia and her German Shepard (Ocean?) made me feel at ease. My friend and I were offered coffee and a comfortable setting for a nice break during our visit to Montreal.
