J’avais 2 rdv à la demande du médecin. Ensuite un troisième. Arrivé à la réception pour mon rdv la personne a l’acceuil a dit: oh non… elle ne savait pas que je l’avais entendue. Très déçue de ce comportement désagréable comme si moi je n’avais rien à faire d’autre

Mon père est suivi par le Dr Chartrand depuis plus de 10 ans; l’équipe est très professionnelle, efficace et accueillante:)

Great experience no wait time. Staff and Dr Sanft were prompt friendly Dr Sanft explained procedure in detail.

Problem is not with doctors or nurses. Staff at the reception are rude and could use a course on how to treat people. Spoke only in French to my handicap elderly mother and after asking them to speak English so she could understand, they gave her a berated speech about needing to be waiting on the blue spot before approaching the counter. I must let you know she was less than 12” away as she uses a walker and no other patient was there. After agitating my mother, they were rude, barely paid attention to us, refused to answer her questions and then told me I couldn’t accompany her. I am not only my mothers caretaker but I need to be present to make sure we understand the instructions for care post-op as she easily gets confused. This is unacceptable behaviour. Thankfully another staff member (nurse) came over to apologize on behalf of the staff and said that she couldn’t believe what we experienced. A little relief, unfortunately the 2 women who acted wrongly made the experience negative bad despite all the wonderful people there. Be forewarned.

Excellent experience, reasonable wait time to see the doctor, friendly staff. I've had several appointments and all have been a positive experience. I highly recommend this clinic.

Good experience at all previous (5) five visits. It's a very busy Clinique and the reception staff do their best to accomodate telephones and register patients that arrive. I have never waited more than five (5) on telephone or in line.
I have seen three ophthalmologists there and received excellent care for the three seperate problems with the Doctors, including surgery.
I would not hesitate referring friends or family to Brunswick Opthamology.

I have never given a bad review before but the receptionist I talked to on the phone was just terrible. I was shocked by the way she was talking down at me when I had barely even spoken. Hopefully they are a little kinder in person…

I had a cataract removed from each eye on the same day by Dr Sanft, I am 3 weeks post op and all seems fine. Will have my 2nd follow up this week.

I'm puzzled by some of these bad reviews. I've been to see Dr. Nguyen twice in the past six months and on both occasions, all personnel were friendly, helpful, and professional. The appointment began on time and I was out of there after all tests in half an hour. I have only good things to say about Opthamologie Lakeshore, Dr. Nguyen, and all of the staff!

Je m’occupe d’une dame âgée et je dois l’emmener souvent à cette clinique voir ce cher dr Chartrand.
La pauvre dame est presque aveugle à cause de ses cataractes qu’il ignore complètement.
Il lui donne des gouttes et passe la porte.
Il ne répond jamais à ses questions. La dame a 90 ans donc, très vulnérable.
Je vais souvent à cette clinique car j’accompagne des gens. Je le regarde aller et il se fou de ses clients carrément!
Pour ma part, je le considère comme une erreur du système!
Il n’a pas de place pour des êtres comme lui!

I had an appointment at 2: 15pm and at 3: 30pm I was done with my eye exam with the doctor's assistant and I had met with the doctor. In and out within an hour which is more than reasonable. Excellent and courteous service.

I'm not sure what these people are talking about. I took my son in to see dr Chartrand and everyone was simply amazing. He got a bunch of tests and saw the dr right away. His Nurse, Natasha was wonderful, kind, soft-spoken and very professional.

It took about 1.5 hours for all that but the clinic was packed so it's understandable.

I wonder if this is the case of being nice and people being nice right back at you.

As an existing patient with Dr. Chartrand, I was refused treatment for my left eye because I had had a RIGHT eye cataract removed at a hospital and not by them! Will be reporting them for such unethical behaviour.

The wrost clinic i ever seen we were flowing DR. NGUYEN for a year to get cataract surgery the vision get very foggy and we call them to tell them. We got the answer we cannot do anything. I highly recommend go to Lachine hospital dont waste your time at this clinic worst doctor and his team.

Not satisfied is one of the Receptionists (the first one right after entering the clinic), she was so rude and was like interrogating me! Everyone is wearing mask, if the patients couldn't hear properly so just repeat, what a big deal? !

Very Bad phone service, on hold and no one has said a word to me yet, they are not polite to do this. They cant even say: please hold, they cut you off when you try to talk and explain anything. So unprofessional - i can hear them talk in the back ground and laugh and not even take care of my request.

Very positive experience. They discovered and diagnosed me with something the hospital has completely missed. I was very happy with both ophthalmologists I saw here.

Excellent service, friendly staff and minimal wait time. I was apprehensive when I read the initial reviews but I called twice with no issues on someone answering, as well as no wait time longer then 5-10 minutes.

If you like being treated like a number and not a person, this is the place for you! Enjoy hours+ wait time for a one minute consult? Book now.if someone will answer the phone. Don't forget to ask yourself why the ophthalmologist even bothers to take 20 seconds to look into each eye after the technician has already done a full exam and has given him/her the report.

I was surprised that the receptionist taking payment was singing like she was in a karaoke bar, couldn’t believe It.clueless that there is a pandemic going on. Yet she berated an elderly lady when she asked the question if her husband was allowed to be present for her appointment.

Bravo a Ophtalmologie Pointe Claire et Dr Archambault pour la chirurgie de la cataracte de ma mère. Oui il y a de l'attente oui des fois cest long mais ceci sont des soins gratuits et le vieillissement de la population et l'utilisation des ecrans ne feront quamplifier la situation. Alors bravo a toute l'équipe pour leur dévouement.

Je suis surprise des commentaires négatifs! Oui une heure d'attente mais c'est un spécialiste! Dr Chartrand était très professionnel et sympa!

What is the point of an appointment, if you waiting for more than 2 hours just to see the nurse. Unacceptable, avoid this place

Affreux! Si vous avez une matinée complète à perdre, c’est endroit. Des heures d’attente. Leur temps est clairement plus précieux que le vôtre. Évitez si vous pouvez.

Encore et encore plus de 2 heures d’attente! Mais quel est le but de donner une heure de rendez -vous?
Et la rencontre avec l’ophtalmo ne dure que 2 à 5 minutes maximum car il est débordé.

C’est définitivement mal géré.

Je comprend que certaines journées sont plus acahlandées que d’autres mais ca semble être toujours le cas dans cette clinique

Le docteur Chartrand m'a soigné pour une urgence. Après plusieurs tests, il m'a dit que j'allais bien et que je n'avais rien, il m'a renvoyé à la maison malade et sans vision.le lendemain, j'ai été hospitalisé au cœur sacré pour un problème sérieux de vision. Ce médecin quitte beaucoup cette clinique et je pense engager une action en justice pour cela.
