I bought a Pork kassu (for takeout) for the first time in a while, and I was quite disappointed with it today. It was my favorite menu which I've had at least ten times by now. The problem was the pork was way too dried out. When I tried this meal months ago, it had enough sauce to make the pork moist, but now they almost put no kassu sauce in it. Not gonna lie, I was a bit suffering from indigestion after eating this. Why did they reduce the sauce amount? Hopefully they put enough sauce next time: (

There was no parking space, so I had to park a bit far away, but I enjoyed the bone hangover soup that I wanted. It's delicious. ^^ Now that I’ve enjoyed bone haejangguk, I’m going to eat shaved ice for dessert.

It's a great bone hangover soup restaurant in Montreal, but since I visited with foreign friends, I ate other dishes.
They say the bulgogi, kimbap, and japchae are all delicious.
Bibimbap is also delicious.
The red pepper paste sauce seems to be Korean, but my friend who can't eat spicy food says it's very spicy.
Overall, the portions are generous. (I liked that it was packageable)
However, since it was a fusion style tteokbokki, I was a little disappointed that the taste was different.
Still, I don’t think it’s bad for foreigners.

Pork bone soup is incredible! The meat just falls off the bone. Very reasonably priced, full of flavour and a great portion size. Spice level isn't entirely adjustable, would like the option to add a bit more of a kick!

One of the best restaurant out there. They are super professional and they are been keeping the quality of the food and service for many years. They have wonderful prices too. I highly recommend this place. You should try it, the food taste amazing.

It's alright food. I've definitely had better, and it's kinda pricey for what it is and the quality.

Amazing, great value food. The pork soup was so flavourful and tender and was ready in less than 5 minutes. It came with sooo much meat and a delicious broth for $14.
They’ve also managed to create a surprisingly cosy spot in the basement. 10/10 recommend for an affordable and flavourful meal.

Dépaysement total puisque notre hôtesse ne parle pas français et ne comprend que quelques mots d’anglais, alors soyez prêts à l’aventure, car même les questions sur le menu sont répondues que par un sourire chaleureux et légèrement gêné par l’incompréhension…
Laissez vous inspirer par ce qui vous interpelle dans ce menu comportant notamment une variété de dumpings, préparés maison et tout simplement DÉLICIEUX!

Went for lunch at Opiano and was extremely satisfied! The portions are great and the staff was super friendly! Definitely recommend. ️

I’ve tried the pork bone soup and the soft tofu soup with beef and both are 10/10. Big portions, fair prices, hot and very flavourful. Especially the pork bone soup was a huge portion- so much meat for the price, it was 2 full meals! Some of the best korean food I’ve tried. The seating area is very chill, you can choose where you sit and it’s very clean. I often will do work while I eat here as it’s very casual. They deserve way more hype.

As a student from McGill, this restaurant is regarded as one of McGill's cafeteria! Many students and people who work near by would always pay there a visit. Very nice food and the service is excellent. Strongly recommend

I'm a fan of their pork bone soup, it serves with rice and a big portion of meat well cooked in the soup, everytime I go there I eat it and it's always as good

J'y suis parti hier soir et je suis assez déçue du lieu. C'est pas un endroit que tu choisis parce que tu as envie de te faire un bon resto ou quoi, c'est plus un endroit pour les jeunes et les étudiants à se poser. Et la nourriture n'était pas folle non plus.

The first time I had opiano was when I was quarantining cause I had covid. Their bimbimbap was exactly the hearty and healthy food that I needed and it was very flavourful and tasted super fresh. The portion was so big that I ate it for both lunch and dinner! It warmed my heart and made me feel so happy during a tough time

If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Montreal, this is the spot. I ordered the sundubu jigae with beef. I really appreciated that it was super salty, which I realized was quite common with most Korean restaurants in the city.
It is a little tucked away, and for its vibe/ambience I wouldn’t recommend this as a first date kind of spot. But definitely amazing otherwise.

Amazing casual spot. Will definitely visit often before going to Bank Scotia Theatre for a movie.

Tried calling a bunch of times and their number seems to be not working and going straight to voicemail. I took a chance driving 45min to Opiano to order the spicy pork and pork bone soup. The spicy pork wasn’t as good as the first time. The pork bone soup was good wish they gave more broth. I ordered an extra side of kimchi the first time I ordered it, it was very good this time around wasn’t as good as the first.

A WONDERFUL FOOD and SERVICE in this place. So, it's a 5 + for this restaurant. I'm a fan. I've been visiting for 5 years now and they never decrease the quality not a bit. I recommend it.

Amazing spot to go for a quick, delicious, cheap lunch in between classes as it is literally steps away from campus! There are so many options and varieties of what you can get and it's all amazing. That being said I highly recommend the beef bento or spicy chicken plate - you get so much food and variety! One thing that's missing though is the dosrait plate.they took it away last year and it was one of the best things, hope they bring it back!

Legit korean food, not very salty, excellent bingsu, super smoooth snowflake like, melts in your mouth unlike your typical shaved ice.

A Korean food court style restaurant in the building. Casually buy and pick up and seat yourself.

So the place is inside the building 1st floor. Kind of a fast food restaurant. I think the portion/ price/ quality is pretty good. For sure better than food court food. Quite like it. There are many seats and big tables so you might share table with random people. Food was served pretty quickly.

YUMMY! Cannot have a small Bingsoo. Must have a medium at least! Couldn't even take a picture of it, cause it was devoured in 2 seconds! Good job guys!

Very good food, decent variety. Price seems fine according to location. Portions are not that big, I would say just enough.

Bingsoo is my favorite choice, I have tried all the tastes, it is all good. The plat set of beef is often selected for my lunch. I recommend everyone to try.

Great place to grab good food between classes. The pork bone soup is amazing for those cold or rainy days. They also serve bingsu during the warmer months.

They have really good gamja tang. I would however not recommend their kimchi jjigae or bibimbap. The proximity to McGill makes it convenient for students to stop by and have lunch.

This is a food court restaurant. The bingsu menu is quite delicious. In case of spicy food, it is less spicy food. It is a good restaurant to go with children or foreigners who cannot eat spicy food.

Good food at a good price. A nice variety and a lot of local students to hang out with. A positive place near McGill to visit.

Food is great! Taste is not very salty that’s why I loved it. We ordered Bibimbap and chicken combo. We’ll def come back and try some of their dishes.

One of the best places to have Korean and Japanese food in downtown Montreal. I would especially recommend the pork bone soup. It's a winter favourite of mine.

Their food is okay, very standard korean food. The portions are nice. I go there mainly for the bingsoo. The best you can find in Montreal since Le Painnamou closed.

I love this place. The service is slow but the food is excellent for a good price. It's a little bit hidden but that's what makes it charming.

Food is good and prices are cheap! Regular ramen not the best but the bento boxes and udon are great. Great for students
