Such a great customer experience and they helped me pick out frames that continue to receive compliments more than 6 months later. Usually it can feel awkward for me to (nit) pick frames and have to look at my reflection that much but everyone was so patient and accommodating and weighed in when I asked. They also offer a multiple installment payment plan option (through a 3rd party paybright) that is very convenient to set up. I’m looking forward to getting my next frames here.

I was in montreal for a weekend, and lost a tiny screw holding together a part of my favourite sunglasses.i happened to see the office, and walked in off the street asking if my glasses were fixable.not only did they fix the glasses on the spot, but they didn’t charge me.on saturday, no less.the women in the office were very pleasant and personable (and the sunglasses they had for sale were gorgeous- great brands, amazing selection!).

This team is really the best of the best! I went in for an eye exam and new glasses, and I had an amazing experience at Optique Le Cartier. I felt extremely well taken care of by everyone throughout the whole process. I had my eye exam with Nicolas and he was extremely kind, professional, and patient with me. Even though I was *that* annoying person with a million questions, he was so attentive and took everything I said seriously. Not to mention I left there with the most accurate eye prescription I've ever had! The manager Julia was so helpful in finding me a new pair of frames. I felt that she really listened and understood what I was looking for, and also had a great sense of what would look good on me. I normally would feel self conscious trying on glasses, but she was so kind and patient and made me feel very comfortable. Thanks so so much to such a great and professional team, I'm so grateful!

Je suis entrée par hasard chez Optique Le Cartier, pour savoir si on pouvait remplacer les "plaquettes" sur mes lunettes, que je n'avais pas achetées à cet enroit. Une gentille employée/technicienne a gentiment fait le travail en quelques minutes et ce, sans aucun coût, ce qui est plutôt rare. Je suis très satisfaite et la remercie de nouveau. Je recommande chaudement ce commerce, très professionnel et accueillant.

It’s a 20/10 for meI accidentally sat on my glasses last night and they were unwearable. I came here and the staffs are very kind and approachable. Offered & fixed my glasses within 10 minutes for free I definitely recommend this place and would come back for an eye exam next time. Amazing place.

Pour le choix des lunettes j'ai été accompagnée par Eugénie, qui m'a vraiment très bien conseillée, a pris le temps pour m'orienter en fonction de mes goûts, très pro également.

My husband and I have been going to Optique Le Cartier for years. When they sold, we went to another place but the service was awful and the optometrist, the worst. We decided to go back to Le Cartier and wow, what great service. The Manager Julia is awesome and quite delightful. The Optometrist is great. Very thorough and explains everything. Love this place. We highly recommend it!

They are good in their business! I like the service that I am getting from them! They are devoting, professional, and friendly! I need to also mention the person who is always nice and kind. Honestly, one of the main reason that I am always going there is her advice and kindness — Julia! She is always giving you the best advice to get the best product. The first time I went there I thought that I am in hard position with my unique eyeglass that I got from a loved one, but they met me halfway and they came up with a solution which made me satisfied. Don’t worry about anything when you go there! They will do their best!

Efficient and excellent service! I was able to make an appointment with short notice and I could only come in on my lunch break; the staff were very accommodating and found an appointment that worked with my schedule. The initial tests and eye exam were quick but done with precision. I felt taken care of and I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all four staff members that helped me (including the wonderful doctor).

After my eye exam, Julia helped me narrow down a selection of frames according to my budget and the style that I was looking for. I couldn't believe how efficient she was and how well she was able to find a pair of frames that suited me! I bought the first pair she showed me.this has never happened elsewhere!

In a nutshell, everything was perfect!
professional staff, great service, super sanitized and safe during COVID.
I have been wearing glasses for couple years now but haven't checked them in a while so I decided to make an appointment and see if my prescription changed. The staff was super friendly and when I went to do the tests, first they provided us with new face masks and asked us to change the old one. (I was very impressed, very thoughtful of COVID and sanitizing), then they explained to me every step so I feel comfortable with the tests and everything.
Then I visited Dr. Nicolas, and he examined my eyes and explained everything to me, which comforted me since I had a bit of problem with my eyes.
And at the end I went upstairs to get my prescription, and frames. The staff were super nice and professional, they walked over everything with me and made sure that everything is clear and I'm comfortable with.
Then I ordered my glasses and they came very soon!
Overall, I was very happy with my experience, and for sure I will visit there again.

The last February 2nd i went for a general examination in my eyes. I was surprised that they had a new 'way" of examining my eyes with new machines and lights (visual field and retinal examine) that i didn't know that existed before. I thought it was part of the BASIC examination because that's what i requested previously when i got my appointment. I even clarify with the secretary on the phone that i wanted the basic and she said the new price, 95 CAD. When they finished with me, they charged around 35 dollar more (130 CAN in total) because they included a services that i didn't asked for, and no body told me about. My sister works at Visionworks company in US and she explained to me that that kind of services is optional and they should explain to the customer in advance and wait for the confirmation of including that, always. In this case they assumed that i wanted that extra and they didn't take not even the time to explain to me, I'm not happy at all and for 35 dollars, the company lost an old customer. It was my 3rd time going there. I had a very pleasant experience with the optometrist, though)

I returned 2 years after buying my glasses. I emailed prescription and got an appointment less than 48 hours later. The staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. I compared 3 quotes just to be safe and Optique Le Cartier has hands-down the best selection, best service and great pricing. Can't wait to get my new prescription!

The best experience EVER! Every person at Optique is pleasant and professional. Dr. Djalal was efficient, caring, and made me feel she had all the time in the world to answer my questions. Isabelle tested my eyes with practiced precision, making sure I was comfortable with COVID precautions. Alexandra was like my personal shopper, picking out frame after frame to fit my face, style and budget. When I picked up my new glasses, Julia welcomed me like an old friend and carefully adjusted my frames until they fit perfectly. My new glasses are great and I look forward to my next visit.

I know nothing about eyewear. Very new to this and I lucked out. My fear, like anyone else is to walk out having spent far too much.

I started off with the eye exam, she was wonderful and sarcastically funny. I never laughed so much. Made the experience amazing. She also took a lot of time with me explaining everything about eye exams and eye wear. Great experience.

I then met with the optometrist, she really did a great job, spent a lot of time, making sure she did not miss anything since it was my first time. Extremely professional.

I then went upstairs where they do the final sales. The sales woman was fantastic. She spent an hour explaining everything I should know and guided me to the right pair and WOW, it cost me almost half of what I had imagined and I have designer glasses.

This is rare business, I’m still amazed and have referred my family.

I forgot to mention, I called for an appointment yesterday and she fit me between clients. I called about 10 other places and none of them could fit me in and not before a month and a half.

I had an amazing experience! I was helped by Julia and Alex who helped me throughout the entire process and were very pleasant and accommodating! I could not make an appointment because the rude receptionist would not tell me if there is an accessible entrance. Imagine-a medical office that does not want to help disabled people!

Went in a couple months ago to get my eye exam and a new pair of glasses (I ended up getting 2)! Doctor was very professional and gave great advice. Receptionists/staff was very welcoming and patient. I also recommended this place to my brother and he was very happy with his purchase! Planning on going back very soon for some new sunglasses!

They broke my old glasses frame when putting new lenses in them, and then I got charged for 200$ for the replacement of the frame.

The optometrist (looks like a middle-eastern woman) is very rude, also, they refused to give me my eye prescription results.
I did my exam in october 2018, if I have known that it was illegal for an optometrist to refuse prescription I would have called consumer protection but now its too late. I recommend avoiding the place and as always - know your rights.

Staff is very rude. Called in for appointment and that lady cant understand anything you speak to her.
