Orange Café

Well i expected to find a better experience here than other commercial breakfast franchise.
Was dissapointed to get 2 coffee cups filty seemed like someone drank coffee from it, after all I drove from Terrebonne to try out this place.

Buzzing cafe! Very busy but didn’t have to wait long to be seated, seems to be a popular spot and for good reason. Coffee was giving as soon as we were seated making this spot exceptional in my perspective. The food did not take long to be served which was pleasantly surprising considering how busy it was. I ordered the smoked meat panini and it was exceptional! Flavour, consistency and portion was superb. Would definitely recommend visiting this hot spot and looking forward to exploring the menu more when I visit Montreal again!

I haven't had breakfast in many years.
It was a crowded Sunday at around 1 pm.
Food came fast hot and very tasty.
It seemed very reasonable at around $18.00 per person especially considering everything was really good. The creton was very bland and among the least flavorful i had.
There's 2 tables that are under a skylight. They are much nicer to sit at than the gloomier tables. Coffee is good here.

I’m local and have been coming here for years. This is my partner’s favourite breakfast place (hat trick ;)

One of the very few places in Montreal where dining out as a non-French speaking brown person was not an unwelcome experience. Food and service was top notch. Highly recommended.

Was presently surprise on how quick the food came once I ordered and it wasn't expensive and had good portion of the food that I order. Will definately come back for more.:)

The owner opened up after hours for our work Christmas party with little notice and without hesitation. The best decision we could have made. The food was so yummy, great service, happy employees. I couldn't speak more highly of this restaurant!

This is place is amazing loved everything we ordered here for break fast! Their caramelized banana waffles would just blow you away. The home fries are also more flavorful! If you are on Montreal do visit this place!

Alright food, potatoes are great. Smoothies are amazing. Takes awhile to get the bill. But decent friendly place. Good basic breakfast.

On y mange très bien, avec bon bon service. Le petit hic, il n'y a pas de parking, il faut trouver une place dans la rue

J'ai vue cet endroit depuis mon primaire, mais je n'ai jamais essayé jusqu'à ce jours!

C'est propre, réceptionniste est accueillent et quand vous manger tu n'as pas l'impression d'être dans le Rush comme dans certaine place.

Je recommande ce café a tout le monde, mais surtout ceux qui sont dans ce quartier!:)

Friendly service and good food. The food and service have become excellent since my last visit in 2015. Everything is well prepared and cooked just right. Staff is very professional.
*UPDATE: There is one particular waiter whom we got twice and who is totally neglectful of service. He chats with colleagues and even clients but not about service, just talks and kills time. We waited 20 minutes the last time, just to get our bills! He should be FIRED but is still there!

Endroit qui me fut suggéré par une personne qui aimait beaucoup ce restaurant. Menu déjeûner élaboré comme la majorité des autres, ce qui va de soi. Portion généreuse de pomme de terre. Bon service multilingues, intérieur simple et chaleureux.

Service was not very good, we were standing at the entrance for ten minutes and no one came to explain how long it would take to get a table. The croissant and the salad inside it didn't look fresh at all. The potatoes and the omelette were good. Asking for the check was also a challenge, we waited more than 15 minutes to get our waiter's attention

Why is the smoked salmon on top of eggs without capers, dill or onions. Also, why do you guys put orange instead of a lemon

By far the fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever had in Montreal. Great salsa too. 10/10 would recommend.

Visited this Monday morning. The food was just okay. The waitress needs a bit more professional training. Wait until clients remove coats and sit before asking them if they want coffee.

Very popular for lunch on weekends, get there 11-11: 30 to 'beat the crowd'. Lineups by noon are pretty common, though it moves steadily.

Great staff. Well maintained place. I personally like the "Fill me up" as i get to have a heavy breakfast before i start my long day.

One of the best breakfast spot in mtl and the best I had in a while, hopefully they will stay consistent.

Great food and great prices! We had the Orange Cafe Benny (unusual but delish) and the smoked meat Benny (also awesome). Would go back often if we didn't live thousands of kms away.

Great hidden neighborhood gem. Lovely friendly service and excellent food. Enjoyed breakfast on the front patio in the sun. Will go again for sure!

One of my fav brunch place in Montreal. I really like their staff so friendly. Spinach and Brie Benedict was so delicious the Hollandaise Sauce was fresh and tasty. I also tried Orange Benedict which is creamy egg instead of poached egg and I loved it.so creamy so tasteful.recommending to try their fresh juices

This was my first excursion to a sit-down restaurant in 16 months and it was an awesome choice. Massive plate of pure deliciousness. Mostly breakfast choices, but there are also sandwiches & pizzas. Highly recommended.

I try not to write negative reviews, but I'm at my breaking point with this place. We want to support our local restaurants, but when ordering takeout, there is always a mistake or something missing.

This time they didn't include our side order of salami, my eggs were undercooked, my mocha was only half full and the lid said, "carmel" for no discernable reason. It kind of looks like they just grabbed whatever coffee was just bussed from a table or something. I won't be drinking it.

The time before that, they called fifteen minutes after I'd ordered to tell me they didn't have yogurt. I asked if I could have eggs instead and they said they didn't have eggs. A breakfast place that doesn't have eggs?

They take forever and get your order wrong anyway. Won't be ordering from there again.

Why they get 2 star you ask when you put your hands on the table and they feel sticky and you ask to switch table and your new table is the same. You get 2 star. Had to rush home take a shower.

I haven’t been to orange cafe in a while but it was my top breakfast joints a couple of years ago! I was in the area and decided to stop in for brunch. The first thing that shocked me was how much their prices have increased.my go to order is the breakfast club but I had to opt out because they were charging a whopping 18.95$ for that! I ended up ordering the simple 2 eggs and 1 meat for 10$! The potatoes were delicious as always, however I have to say I was disappointed to see that both owners were walking around without their masks and letting some customers do the same as well

The management is very hospitable. Would definitely drop by again and recommend it to other friends.

Amazing food selection with some interesting and delicious offerings you don't find in other breakfast places. Staff is amazing and street parking always available even on weekends.

Went for breakfast with my hubby. Wow! So busy, but our waiter was great. He helped me choose my omlette and was so nice. I liked his moustache too! Try the lyonaise omlette. 5 star service and grub!

Coffee only for refilled when asked and it was very loud. Breakfast sandwich was bland, and the fruit bowl was just a sad gathering of soggy melon. The bloody ceasar tasted as if it were virgin when I was assured it was not. You can do much better when it comes to breakfast places. Pass on this one.

I was passing by, saw the cafe and checked on TripAdvisor. I think they should treat visitors and tourists more respectfully. The food is ok, but I don't recommend if you are not a local.

The only negative about this place is that it's a pain to get to from my new place. The food here was mind blowing lay good and the portion are definitely worth the price! Like damn this place is sooooo good <3

Great food, great pancakes! But service is horrible, no hostesses to greet clients, no smiles. Such a shame, substantial lack of organization.

Food is good, staff needs to be more organized. Ordering is a challenge and don't forget anything because the chances that your waiter stop again are slim to none. At least the owner is their to give a good service.

Their breakfast are well known. Very good. The side has nice potatoes with veggies including onions and pepper. Usually fresh coffee, and good service. They are now also open later in the day, for diner also. So that might be my next visit. Yummmm.

The best breakfast in Montreal! I love the French Toast, but everything is great - the coffee keeps coming, the service is excellent, and it’s worth the wait!

Good food and location, but lacking service. We asked coffee for 3 times, but no one brought any. Until the manger brought it for us. Need better organization

Très bon service. Rapide. La nourriture est bonne. Ce n'est pas non plus excellent mais c'est une cuisine généreuse avec un bon rapport qualité prix.

Par contre dommage pour les pailles en plastique.

Used to be nice, new host completely ignored us, they didnt even say anything when we standed up and left after 15 minutes of waiting at our table while they spoke beside us.

My favorite breakfast joint on the Island. The ambience and the staff is well trained. Visit once and definitely you will return.

Took wayyy too long (~1hr for brunch) for our food to arrive and when it did it was barely warm. Portion sizes were pretty good and didnt taste too bad. Wait time for the bill was half an hour. If it wasnt for the wait time and slightly warm food it would definitely have been 4 stars. Sorry

Good food. The staff who welcome you could learn how to talk to their clients a bit more.
On the other hand, we had the pleasure to have Ed as our waiter and he was awesome! Thank you Ed!

Dirties restaurant I ever worked for look in kitchen onwer is a idoit only cares about your money if bathroom r dirty then imagine the kitchen

Had the avocado eggs Benedict. Eggs were overcooked (solid yolks) and the hollandaise sauce was lacking seasoning. Potatoes and avocado were good.

What a great breakfast spot! Extremely generous portion of smoked salmon with the creme cheese bagel plate, and the steak (covered in mushrooms) was excellent. The staff was great too. Breakfast for champions!

Great neighborhood joint. Awesome food, good prices, clean interior. Lots of people meeting up to chat while having delicious brunch.

Food and service was good (as expected no complaints). One issue: No AC indoors during very hot day.

Not sure why I deserved such rude treatment from my waitress. I asked for well done bacon. The waitress TOLD ME I didn't order crispy bacon. Her accent was really weird and I tried to ask her twice but she kept telling me I was wrong. Lol? I didn't know my order? Don't patronise me by calling me darling.guess me and my girlfriend are stupid. The waitress didn't even come see us after! Some other guy who brought our food fixed the mistake and after that it took us 10 minutes to get water on a hot day! Sorry not cool. Won't be back.
