C'est toujours un plaisir de manger à cet endroit. Le service est excellent et la bouffe aussi. Beaucoup de choix.

Second time here for dinner. Will be my last. Not worth paying $115 after tax and tips for 1 entrée, 2 adult plates and 1 child for VERY bland food, no alcohol, no desert, no drinks.

Meh. Food was not as great as I think it could be for an 'Italian' restaurant. Personally my mussels were not the freshest. Sauce was bland/okay.
We were a group of 15 people:
3 of which who had a pasta dish said it was just "okay" (bolognaise, chorizo and seafood versions).
Someone had the risotto balls, which were apparently disgusting, being cold in the middle? Tasted bland.
Salads were a bit limp and a greek salad had "mushy cucumbers", lol
To add, I will mention that when it came time to order, it was mentioned that there was no chicken parmigian!
2 people had taken the time to choose this item from the menu. It could have been mentioned beforehand, when we sat down. 20 MINUTES LATER, we see chicken parmigian being served to MANY OTHER TABLES! Very insulting. Communiation is important among staff and with patrons. Not one member of our group will return here.

Prix raisonnable et service courtois. Apportez votre vin ce qui est une belle économie surmla facture. Nourriture excellente.

On a vraiment trippé. On était une équipe de hockey avec parents. Tout s'est bien passé. Service impeccable et personnel courtois.

Ordered takeout for someone who is gluten free (Celiac), pizza on their website says gluten free ordered that one, food was delicious not very big for $30 but considering its gluten free the price is always higher, no big deal.
However, was certainly not gluten free as they have been up all-night sick to their stomach, if you advertise gluten free, please be careful not to cross contaminate as it puts people's health at risk.

This is a lovely restaurant located in a small strip plaza. Went here for dinner on my birthday and had delicious meals. I enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese and my husband had linguine with duck. Both meals were absolutely delicious. The restaurant also serves breakfast so we decided to return on Wednesday. OMG! So glad we did. I enjoyed a breakfast of bacon, eggs, home fries, with toast, fruit and a strawberry crepe, coffee and tea are included in the price. Mine was $17.
My husband enjoyed crab cakes (with real crab) eggs Benny. His meal was $18. This place is totally mind blowing. The food was wonderfully presented, perfectly cooked. Definitely puts any comparable restaurants to shame. Would highly recommend if you are ever in Gatineau to try it out. You will not be disappointed.

I had dine-in breakfast yesterday. Yummi it was delicious and delightful, perfectly cooked and presentation was splendid.
I would surely visit again

Deuxième et dernière fois, mauvais service, aller au café cognac si vous voulez des moules à volonté, vous vous sentirez pas comme si vous leurs torder un bras de vous servir a plusieurs reprises en vous fesant attendre indéfiniment, jusqu'au verres d'eau qui était difficile à avoir

Nourriture du menu souper est délicieuse! On a aussi essayé le déjeuner et les crêpes fraises chocolat sont excellentes! Il y avait plein de fraises wow!

Cetais mangeable mais les pâtes sont trop chère. Bon service c tout. Prennez pas les pâtes aux cannard.du vole jai été souper a un 2ème resto tlm cetais petit comme assiettes.les pates sec que le cri** sur le dessu ark. Je retournerais jamais adieu ottavole.

Le manger est excellent, l'endroit était plaint la serveuse fournissait à peine, nous avons bien mangé et été bien servis.

Excellente nourriture, belle variété pour ceux avec intolérances. Bin service mais un peu lent.

Nous sommes allé souper samedi passe, en rentrant je suis allé à la salle de bain…. Et ça sentait horrible.un mélange de saleté (toilette jamais bien lavées et de produits chimiques…ça m’a lever le cœur et je suis vraiment désolé mais je n’étais plus capable de profiter de la soirée. Surtout en pensent que les salles des bains sont à côté de la cuisine. Il faisait extrêmement chaud; je n’étais pas la seule à me plaindre.

We had 3 different waitresses, no idea of their names. Service was okay otherwise. But the food.well I guess that's what Italian food is: Something I'm not into. Basically if someone's goal is to become fat, ugly and unhealthy, I'd recommend eating there as much as possible. Empty carbs, mostly low protein and everything soaked in oil.

Today I paid one hundred dollars the pasta was old and test so bad the fries was so so old. They fried it with oil that they never changed it. And they cooked it with very old oil and it came black i don’t recommend this restaurant

Avoid at all costs. The worst restaurant food we’ve ever had & absolutely the rudest manager. We ordered arrancini, calamari, 2 pizzas, and the angel hair pasta with vegetables. Everything was bland and flavourless, except for the calamari which was just OK. The pasta & vegetables literally tasted like cardboard. The manager was shockingly rude; when I told him I wasn’t interested in trying another plate (honestly, there was no saving the food experience), he tried to convince me the pasta was supposed to taste like that- and then said that I was biased because only 1 in 100 pasta dishes come out flavourless? !? A bizarre experience. Thankfully the sever was very kind. A terrible birthday dinner & an absolute waste of $100. Definitely not real Italian food.

Clearly someone forgot to add salt to the angel hair pasta with salmon, as it tasted bland.like it did not taste like anything.usually this restaurant have a habit (yes i was a recurring customer) of over salting, so this was a first! Very unlikely to order here again, at least for a while.the reason for the extra 2 stars is because their cinnamon doughnut was still awesome.

Nos sommes des clients réguliers à Ottavio. La bouffe est généralement très bonne mais nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience avec le personnel à 2 reprises. La première fois on nous a demandé de quitter le restaurant avant l’heure de fermeture puisque nous étions les derniers clients. Nous n’avons même pas eu le temps de finir notre vin. Ensuite hier soir, on nous a apporté notre plat principal au moins une heure après l’avoir commandé. Une table à côté de la nôtre qui était plus nombreuse a reçu leur plat principal bien avant nous malgré qu’ils sont arrivés après nous. Lorsqu’on s’est plaint au serveur et demandé de voir le gérant, le gérant ne s’est jamais présenté. Le serveur nous a apporté des beignets pour s’excuser et ceux-ci n’étaient pas mangeables.du vrai caoutchouc. Malgré qu’on aime habituellement la nourriture et le choix de nourriture vegan, on ne retournera pas.

Great service, we all had variations of their mussels and fries and of course everyone tasted each others version
They were all very good. Really enjoyed our time there.

The food was not that good but still enjoyable but the lady at the door was really not professionnal she was really agressive asking for our ID like she was the FBI took us for ever to get to a table because she was asking like 10 questions about were we came from and keep been really agressive if you have multiple choice of restaurant I suggest you to go somewere else

20$ for a salad with only lettuce, cucumber and red peppers. Reached out to the restaurant via email and did not hear back.

We were a party of 12. The service, the food and mostly the waitresses were 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food! Friendly atmosphere, bilingual staff. Cost is very reasonable when you see what you get. I will be back.

Nous sommes allés en famille avec nos deux enfants et moi et mon épouse avons pris une pizza et une salade césar. La salade césar était 16$ donc nous croyons pouvoir la partager. Finalement, c'était une très petite portion avec très peu de sauce. Pour la pizza, c'était ordinaire. Le chai latté était passable et le dessert ok.

Bon repas et bon service. Si vous prenez la pizza 4 saisons, le serveur vous offrira peut-être de la mélanger car c'est interessant au lieu de tout avoir séparé.

Un délicieux restaurant avec un service hors pairs et en plus, vous pouvez apporter votre vin ou bières. Nous étions un groupe de 40 et le tout c'est super bien déroulé. Nous avons tous appréciés notre experience.

We there with a group. Tasteless veggie sauce with (no veggies) and pasta. It was just canned sauce really and it was 15$. Terrible!

Fantastic Italian cuisine, steep prices but well worth it, quick service a little rushed during peak hours. Bring your own wine and beer, they will put it on ice, for a great time.

The location is very nice. Well decorated, spacious and a nice atmosphere. We ordered the calamari and it was served with a pasta sauce that didn't go well with the calamari. We also ordered the pork belly pasta. It was okay. Nothing special. Based on my experience and I do like to be fair. I'll probably give it another chance but I did find it expensive for what it was.

Le service était très bon ce soir. Je dois dire qu'il y a eu une grande amélioration depuis que nous connaissons ce restaurant.

Personnel soucieux des allergies des clients. Mon fils a la maladie cœliaque et il a très bien mangé. Très bonne nourriture. Service excellent!

Première expérience au Ottavio pour une occasion très spécial: une rencontre d'amis du secondaire pas vu depuis 33 ans! Très bonne bouffe, très bon service, et des gens qui n'ont pas commenter sur nos 5 heures passé à table!

Service est bon. Bouffe laisse grandement a désiré. Sauce de la lasagne froide ainsi que les pâtes. Très très déçu. Jamais plus.
