Hey, It was really good. The food tastes good I personally tasted the lasagna and the staff were very courteous and kind. A pleasant environment for a family meal or a party with friends. Hope you enjoy. Yours truly
Great service and staff. Does get a little loud on a busy day. Everyone there is very friendly! The food is good. As someone who has celiac they follow all the protocols.
Honestly a horrible experience. Although I can’t argue that our waitress was amazing the Food wasn’t great and was very overpriced, pasta was undercooked and somehow took an eternity to come out. Worst of all, food is marketed as gluten free and although we were assured everything was made separately, me, someone with celiac disease was immediately ill after eating this food. Of course the manager denied that it was possible and no reparations were made. To top it off a member of our party suffered food poisoning just a couple hours after eating the salmon tartare. Do not eat here…
It's a great bring your own wine Italian spot! They have gluten free and vegan options! Great spot for those with friends with intolerance. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere
Probably should give 5 stars for atmosphere too, since my only complaint is that I could hardly converse with the person across the table. It's sure a popular place! Servers were friendly and food was delicious.
My husband and I have always loved Ottavio St. Laurent. We have tried the St. LEONARD and Laval also. But, the St. Laurent has always been our favorite, up until March 31,2023. I was ordering from the lunch menu, and I asked about the "meatballs at 3.00$ (how many do I get). When I asked the (water boy) he said, "Ask your waitress. She is the expert and will tell you. " So, I asked the waitress (we were 3 people) in total at our table. The waitress said "3 or 4 meatballs, " so I ordered 3 times the meatballs for a total of 9 or 12 meatballs at 9.00$. When the meatballs came to the table, it was someone else who delivered them. There was a total of 6 SMALL meatballs on the dish. I called for our waitress back at our table, and she now looked embarrassed and said, "No, it 3.00$ for 2 meatballs. " Neither she nor the water boy ever came back to our table to see if we needed anything, like water or bread. So, I said to her to take away the meatballs because I wasn't ready to pay 9.00$+tax+tip on 6 SMALL meatballs. With this, I had ordered "penne pasta with Boulogne meat sauce. " My dish came back with very little meatsauce and not much pasta like all the other times that I have ordered the "penne/Boulogne sauce" at this same location. This will definitely be our last time at Ottavio St. Laurent district. Very sad, because this was our favorite place for me, my husband and friends when we'd eat out. I would have given a 5* but giving a 3* because of what this waitress did to us. If she wasn't sure, she should have asked.
