Owl's Head

J'y suis allé pour le sentier Missisquoi Nord qui fait l'ascension du sommet. Les vues sont à couper le souffle. Surtout celle au sommet, qui regarde direction sud.
Le sentier est escarpé, nécessitant l'usage de cordes pour faciliter l'ascension.

J’étais nouvelle à cette endroit et le service du staff à la clientèle a été super. Pour le reste le bistro bar et la montagne haute wow. J’y retourne l’an prochain c’est certain

Wow, quel plaisir de descendre les pentes. Tous les niveaux, qualités des infrastructures et surtout le cadre est tout simplement hallucinant! Merci au staff du magasin de location qui ont su nous accomoder malgré la pandémie.

Nous avons skié la section familiale seulement. Les conditions étaient très bonnes. L'attente aux chaises était courte et fluide. Le personnel très gentil.

We tested 4 resorts this winter (the other three are Bromont, Sutton and Orford), this review is part of that comparison. Though Owl's head is, like Sutton and Orford, only requiring masks to be worn at the lifts (unlike Bromont which has a stricter all-mountain rule), we found that the staff was well prepared to "remind" clients to be respectful of the rules and felt that the awareness level was high over here for the staff (and thus high-ish for most skiers). This resort is probably the smallest of the four, though I didn't check the stats but it feels that way. Despite this, it is wonderful and provides breathtaking views whiles skiing. We were hesitant at first since the main lift brings skiers to an "experts only" part of the mountain, but my kids who are intermediate were able to tough through what basically is only a difficult 30 seconds (but perfectly doable if style is not a concern ;) ) or so of skiing before going down perfectly doable blue (intermediate) level slopes. Possibly the best views of all four mountains I am reviewing, I would recommend this spot for a day's outing for intermediate skiers (true beginners / first-week skiers might feel left out and be better off at Bromont). And despite the less stringent rules regarding maks-wearing, this was among the most COVID-aware resorts thanks to a wonderfully caring staff.

Belle condition météo, super bon repas, le chef Jonathan s'est surpassé. Je suis un peu nostalgique du Owls Head des Korman, mon bar n'existe plus et la belle salle à manger "causy" et relaxante non plus, un peu trop épuré à mon goût.

Très belle améliorations par rapports aux anges passées. Les pistes étaient super belles au début de la journée, toutes fraîchement travaillées. Et Owl's Head est une super belle montagne à skier, probablement le plus beau panorama des Cantons de l'Est.

We have been to this place a few days before Christmas 2019. Of all ski hills (mountains) we have ever been at, Owl's Head has the most impressive views. The skiing itself was much fun, while the restaurant food was excellent (just try their pizzas.) We'd recommend this ski resort to all experienced (maybe, also the intermediate) skiers. The resort is not crowded but (rather "and") very worth visiting. We'd compare it with a hidden gemstone in the Appalachians.

Beautiful ski resort, some of the tracks look into an amazing vista of the lake.

The green tracks are very easy, ideal for beginners.

Belle montagne mais ils sont un peu fous avec les règles sanitaires. Surtout quand tu as 6 personnes seulement dans le chalet. Vue du lac incroyable.

Venu à l'été indien pour une promenade, très agréable, mais peut-être moins de choses qu'à faire qu'au Mont-Tremblant. Je vous le recommande plus depuis Sherbrooke que depuis Montréal.

I went during summer to hike and we accidentely discover a secret trail that lead to the summit of Owls Head. The view is spectacular. The trail is only dangerous after it rain. Very slippery. But it was worth it.

Was there for the spartan race beast. Aweome place for summer race. What a BIG montain by foot. Great view at the summit to the lake.

Besides the hellish race, the view was awesome, the sceneries, the people, just great!
Would love to go there during winter.

Smaller local resort been going for years not a fan of the renovations tho.to modern i miss the rustic feel. Some nice hidden tree lines!

Visited this place for spartan race and loved it. Must return in winter. Views from the top over the lakes and Vermont are gorgeous. The facilities are getting upgraded and look awesome. Hope to return.

Wow, what a beautiful place to ski. The view of the Memphremagog lake is breathtaking. The snow quality has improved 100% with the arrival of the new owners.

Great resort, especially for intermeditate/difficult groomers. The glades might not be as nice as Sutton or Orford, though. Some trails also reveal fantastic views on the Memphrémagog Lake (especially Lilly's Leap, a blue groomer that's not too difficult).

This was a really fun place to snowboard at. Not extremely challenging for the advanced rider but enough to keep a group of us entertained for the day.

Spent 4 days skiing at Owls Head over Ontario March Break. Amazing hill with great prices. Really good for beginners with some hills for advanced skiers as well. Well rounded hill with a nice chalet, good prices and great skiing.

Oh and the views are amazing.
