Oya Costumes

Buyer beware. The shipping cost is high. And then if you need to return anything, you have to pay for your own shipping cost (again!) AND they will refund you 10% less per item that you return.

So, this one costume that I bought (but that didn’t fit, even though their sizing chart said it would) is costing me MORE than the cost of the whole costume in double shipping costs and 10% less fee charged by the store. And after spending all of that money, I’m still left with no costume in the end.

Will never shop here again.

We’ve been getting our Halloween costumes from Oya for the last 4 years. They have a great selection and I love getting our costumes from a small business as opposed to Amazon and Costco. Not only that but the staff is very helpful. When I went to pick up one of my orders I was talking about sizing and the owner made a better suggestion for one of the costumes. If anyone ever has any doubt about sizing I would strongly encourage you to get in touch with customer service before purchasing.

Good price for their wigs compared to other stores. It's just that you get there and you probably won't know it's an online store. Still, you can purchase right away and it will be ready to pickup in fifteen minutes. The staff was so lovely!

I ordered costume on the spot and picked it up
at warehouse. Quality of costume is the best and the service was one of best. It took me less than 5 minutes to order and pick it up.
It is a little bit far from my residence but I am willing to visit again!

I have been a customer of Oya Costumes for over ten years. I have always looked to them first when looking at costume options for myself and my family. I’m a year-round customer, not just Halloween and I love the discounts throughout the year. I’ve looked at Amazon, big box stores and local places throughout the years and have never found the same options and prices than here. Customer service has always been immediate and humble. I will always recommend anyone and everyone here!

Poor service. The lady at the front taking orders was extremely rude towards younger people. She also had the audacity of saying “We can’t take that much time for an order, we can't stay here like this for 30 minutes! ” Not only is this disrespectful but also completely out of place since we were there because of them and their mistake. How ignorant to blame it on us when it was their fault.

I’ve just received my orders and the costumes are perfect I love it! I expected to receive them only on the scheduled date (Oct 27) and I received two days before.thank you so much for your amazing work, doing exactly what we are promised on the website and great delivery service!

Extremely bad customer service. I went to pick up my white corset after receiving the message that it was ready. When I got there, they gave me my order, and I went back to my car to check if it was the right size. It was, in fact, not my size. I went back to their warehouse, and told the lady but she told me that they just put the wrong size sticker. She assured me that my corset was true to its size. However, when I went back home it was too big for me. I measured myself before ordering the corset based on their size chart, so I knew that I needed a small size. Thus, I had to drive back to the warehouse to get the right size. When I came back, they were a bit more busy. I talked with the same lady and she tried to CONVINCED me again that it was the right size. Anyone with eyes could see that it was a medium size and not a small one. She then proceeded to measure the dimension of the corset to PROVE that it was a size small, to which she realized that it was not. At multiple times during our conversation, she mentioned that some people came back to change the corset for a bigger size because it was too small for them. This information was nowhere relevant to me because it was not what I ordered to begin with. She tried to rectify the situation by showing me other types of corset, which was still too big for me because she was out of stock for the small corset that I choose. Another lady with glasses then rudely spoke to us by saying that she did not have time to spend on one order only. This was YOUR fault to begin with, YOU should have called me to tell me that YOU were out of stock for my corset. YOU wasted MY TIME by making me drive back and forth to your warehouse to CORRECT YOUR OWN mistake!

I had been skeptical of ordering costumes online as sometimes sizing can be off and it's a hassle to return/exchange. Oya was the first online costume order I've placed and I could not be happier! I purchased the Trick 'r Treat Sam costume for my daughter. I was sent a tracking number and reasonable estimate for delivery. The costume arrived today, less than a week after ordering it. It was wrapped in orange tissue paper with a large Oya Costumes sticker on it which was a nice touch. The costume is PERFECT! The jumpsuit is so soft and looks like just like the pic, as does the mask. The mask is soft and comfortable to wear, and the gloves complete the look.
Oya has great customer service as well. Very friendly and professional. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing from Oya again. I'm also more than happy to support a Canadian company.

Service was amazing, walked in expecting to look at ordres, was told had fo ordre online, but right after that she said "sit here order what you need and when it's done come tell me I'll prepare it"!
