Palais Libanais

We used to eat here frequently but haven't gone back in a long time and won't go back either. Prices have gone up too much relative to the portions that are becoming smaller and smaller on the platters. The quality of the beef appears to have gone down as the last few times we got it, it was inedible. What was once great value and great portions is now just another overly expensive fast food place that has become stingy.

The best food in Gatineau. Been eating here since it opened. They recently started charging extras for everything so im taking 1 star away. Price is a bit more expensive than other shawarma.

C'est le meilleur resto libanais de ce genre que j ai pu manger c étais tous simplement un délice. Savoureux frais et une généreuse portion vous aller me revoir c est certain.

Fast service. The food is really good and generous. It was my first visit and I will keep it in my favorite places list.

So after waiting in their covid Lane for about 15 mins and having a sandwich made I get to the cash. And unlike the rest of the world they don't take tap, or credit card of any kind. Sorry no cash in pocket as during covid. Most businesses prefer tap. Leads one to ask why.

Uber order: No dressing for my salad, garlic sauce has no flavour but a sour one, the beef is actually donair meat, the chicken had no flavour nor did the hummus.

If you can make the drive, it is definitely worth it. The shawarma is delicious and not too oily.

Amazing food. The main cooks are from Lebanon so you know it's authentic. It's busy which is what you want for shawarma on the spit. Highly recommend.

I went for the first time. It seems to be a very popular place, it was busy at 5: 30. There is enough staff that service was pretty quick.

I had the chicken shawarma and tabuleh and both were good.

They don't accept credit cards, only debit and cash.

Last night I ordered food and waited around for 45 mins.by the time my uber driver showed up to pick up the food, he said they were closed. I called Le Palais Lib and they were unapologetic and there were no sorrys or hey we can offer you xyz.he knew who I was "guy from last night". Overall not great experience. I have had the food its decent but the customer service was bad. I'm good I will bring my business somewhere else.

Best shawarma place in the capital area. We go there to eat at least once a week and the food is always delicious. The service is unique and welcoming and the atmosphere is lively. I highly recommend the falafel platter is you are vegetarian or vegan.

Always friendly service that puts smiles on customer's faces, delicious food at a good value, even when the lines are long the wait isn't too bad, I recommend to everybody because the experience is 100% worth it!

It appears the place has been sold to a new owner, the quality is not the same. It used to be much better. Just to name a few issues: the garlic sauce is not as tasty, the potatoes are not fresh, they taste like leftovers, and the hummus is way too watery, etc. If it's the same owner then he might need to look closer and bring the quality back.

J'ai dégusté un bon shawarma. Par contre, il y avait un peu trop de mayonnaise à l'ail, la prochaine fois, je le mentionnerai.

Are seriously hungry for delicious food but want to try something different? This Lebanese restaurant is "la creme de la creme" amongst all other ones. Too many people, especially English speaking only folks deny themselves an excellent opportunity to eat delicious food, served in abundant amounts at lower prices just because they are affraid of language barrier issues in French speaking Gatineau establishments. Do not let it be so, this place speaks, English, French, Lebanese and Arabic. The food is prepared fresh daily with a level of professional enthusiasm that is rare. The owner has committed himself to be the best. The number of satisfied repeat customers which visit this place speak for themselves. This place is good families, workers on the run looking for a quick bite or couples looking for a regular place to eat well and enjoy rythmic background arabic beats. Go there, you will not be disappointed.

Cette place était bonne avant mais ce n'est plus le cas depuis longtemps. La place n'est plus propre, et chaque petite chose que tu veux changer ou ajouter sur ta commande on te fait charger un dollar de plus. Surtout avec le propriétaire Ali qui se prend pour avoir un resto 5 étoiles. À déconseiller.
