Parc des Cèdres

Parc des Cedres is very beautiful, especially for kids since there is many activities from playing swimming riding bicycle playing football etc.
The view for Ottawa river is incredible what a great relaxation.

Second time visiting and great experience again. Plenty of parking close to the beach, not too busy, you can bring your dog with you, the river is shallow and warm, the current is not strong, and the people are friendly. Couldn't have asked for more.

Absolutely the best place to take pics of the sunsets. There is a public restroom in a building near the beach area. There are a few picnic tables underneath the trees in the shade. Great when it's hot out.
There is a bike/walking path that cuts through the park and is easily assessible for everyone including those with physical challenges.
There is a playground nearby for kids of all ages to come and have some fun even structures for parents to interact with their kids. The park offers so much space to come bring everyone and enjoy quality family time together.

C'est beau c'est grand. Mais il y a souvent de la vitre dans le sable. Le sable n'est pas tres doux, il fait mal aux pieds.

This is a pretty sweet park that offers adults as exiting a time as my own kids. A lot of the activities are easily accessible to an adult (5'11 185lbs) so i can accompany my kids without having to risk hitting my head anywhere!

Pool itself is good. My issue is more with the covid policies. To be clear, I agree with covid measures, but I do feel information could be better communicated for new patrons of the pool before arriving (maybe included in the confirmation email. For example, you have to wear a mask while in the change room and while around but not in the pool. This is fine however, you should really bring disposable masks as you have to wear your mask while changing, to get into the shower, and to get to the pool area. Very good chance that your mask will get wet and, once it's wet it's useless.

The public facilities needed maintenance (run down) alot of cleaning (very dirty, urine smells) and supplies (no soap to wash hands during a pandemic).
They are mixed change rooms (men and women share same) and washrooms which I found odd.

I’ve lived in Aylmer for a while now and I don’t feel that I visit this area enough. It has plenty to offer throughout the year. Summer time of course is fun when the weather cooperates and you can cross country ski in the winter. Weekends are pretty packed so prepare for that if you plan to visit. The beach isn’t half bad at all. Too bad they didn’t allow food trucks of sorts to set up. It would add some ‘flavour’ to the area ️. All in all a nice place to come and chill.

Close to the beach and the Marina of Aylmer, it is a great space to enjoy an afternoon with friends or family. There is the Symmes Inn Museum to have a quick view of the history of the city. A couples of painters exposed their paintings as well

My favorite place in Aylmer to be on a beautiful summer day. Nice beach, life guards a great park for the kids. Beautiful spot to see the sunset. My happy place as I call it.

Amazing Paul with direct access to the back of Ottawa river opposite to Kanata from the other side. Highly recommended for families and back parties.

Beautiful place and perfect to watch the sunset. But be warned, teenagers love it here. So time your visits during school hours. If it's the summer, and nice weather.expect the place to be crowded!

Beautiful park, lots of places to sit and relax, also nice walking/ bike paths if you want to go for a walk/ ride along the river. Highly recommend it you're in the area

I never thought someone would ask this. I'm so excited.
-Miss Vickets Dill Pickle chips.
-Brie pepper cheese. I just love the slight extra kick the pepper adds.
-A baguette from Pain D'alain. You want fresh bread in case you forget to bring a knife. Fresh bread is easier to tear apart. Wonder bread would be weird. Just saying.

So much to do, lots of green spaces, beautiful beach, park for kids and many KM of bike path. Great to spend a whole day soaking in the rays!

I was there a Sunday and the beach is open all day long, the ambiance is great. Police and life guards are there for the safety of the visitors. The water is as expected, not bad, and there's a nice sand. You can definitely enjoy the day there, I will come back.

Would be great during if during off season they remove the rocks off the shore. We had fun day, and love the layout of the beach.

Ce parc est charmant! Avoir un parking gratuit et un accès facile à la plage est vraiment génial. L'eau est super propre et il y’a beaucoup de place sur le sable pour mettre en place diverses activités. Un de mes parcs préférés de mon enfance.

Great place, huge trees, nice river with boats but not that loud. Beach is right by or part of the parc depending how you see it. Anyway bring your chairs and let's watch that sunset while we talk hockey

Plage surveillée et peu profonde, parfait pour les plus jeunes. Jeux pour enfants, toilettes, piste cyclable. Super propre également.

Plage très sale et pleine de cailloux et de garnottes, de petits paquets de sel, poivre, ketchup et moutarde. Mal entretenue. Dommage. En plus, en 15minutes j'ai du me faire piquer 30 fois par des bibittes sur le sable de garnottes.

Très beau parc pour tous. Il y a une marina avec une vue incroyable. Allez voir le couché de soleil sur l'épis est un Must. Il y a aussi un plage et une école de voile. Très grand alors il y a assez de place pour ne pas être dérangé. Il y a aussi un très beau parc pour enfant avec de belles structures neuves.

Nice place to visit. There are always ducks on the grass and a nice park close by. The beach is alright.nothing to write home about though.
