Parc Jean-Drapeau

Le Parc Jean-Drapeau, c'est un havre de verdure au cœur de Montréal! Avec ses festivals, plages, jardins, et installations artistiques, c'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et s'amuser en plein air.

It's a nice park, easily accessible by car. It's open 24 hours and that allows you to witness the park with the amazing night lights. Definitely recommend it as a night stop if you don't have enough time during your trip

Cela a l'air sympa, mais je n'y étais pas pendant la saison la plus propice pour apprécier le lieu.

Lasso est super captivant avec toutes ses vedette Country Canadienne et Américaine sa été 2 jours fantastique

Très beau parc avec vue sur la Skyline de Montreal (que nous verrons de plus près la prochaine fois) un magnifique arc en ciel s'est déclaré devant la biosphère très stylé:)

It is a dog friendly and beautiful park to walk anytime of the year and the metro takes you right in the park

Un magnifique parc, mais j'ai visité au mauvais moment. Il y a plusieurs travaux en cours et plusieurs zones du parc sont inaccessibles, mais bon, c'est des compromis qu'on doit faire pour avoir un bon parc. Sinon, je recommande fortement d'amener une bouteille d'eau étant donné que vous serez souvent au soleil. Sinon, pour une marche ou une ride de vélo, c'est le parfait endroit.

I went there to see Peggy Gou this past weekend the place is very well ran compared to most outdoor concert venues. I've been here when they didn't have a concert as well and it's a very cool area to explore. The biodome, Alexander Calder sculpture, and most importantly the city views is worth the trip to visit.

Huge park.lots of activities to do.parking is paid. $12/2hr and $20/day.it would take one full day to visit everything.go on a weekend as most of fun activity happens.check the website before going.one of the pictures is timing for the bistro
there is big metro station if you don't want to drive.bus stops as well.easy transit access and more frequency.hiking trails, biosphere museum, la Ronde (fair), casino, garden, bar and patio, kayaking and water activities.lots of things available.please check the website to see if the activities you want to try is available on the particular day of your visit.

Poumon vert de Montréal, ce lieu est propice à la randonnée et idéal pour les pique-nique ou pour prendre le frais. En semaine, quand les visiteurs sont moins nombreux, on y fait des rencontres fort sympathiques!

I was a little shocked after taking the train and a bus to get there, you have to pay to use the beach. We pivoted and decided to go to the casino. At the casino, you can expect to pay over $11 for a Coors light and a minimum bet of $25 per table (perhaps there were lower limit tables but we never saw them). Felt like a tourist trap, just not an enjoyable experience for me.

We didn’t even go in. But it was worth it just to be there. Ate lunch in a small bistro on the property. Very good food.

It's a lovely place. Very futuristic compared to the old Montreal, but you can take nice pictures of it from across the river.

Beautiful place to stroll, walk and enjoy the beautiful view. The number of mosquitoes is what bothers us.

I was hoping there would be more to do at this park. The biosphere is interesting- but not as good as some of the museums by Olympic Park. The beach area was closed. No eating options and trails didn’t seem great.

It is a place to walk, play sports and relax alone, with friends or family. It is very easy to reach via Metro.

Excellent place for hiking, picnicking and enjoying nature. It has a beautiful view of Notre Dame Island.

What can I say here.although we really did not go deep inside, the outer part really peaked my interest. Awesome eye catching structure! Very well made! And kept clean!

Gems abound in Montreal.

I literally need to spend years here. Three days was way too short.

What more can you say about Parc Jean-Drapeau? I’m quite certain that anyone who has lived in Montreal has been there and knows all about it and what a nice place it is! There’s so much to do that you need multiple visits to do it all! Of course, this includes the entire Saint Helens island. You have festival after festival taking place especially in the summer time. From Osheaga to La Ronde this place has it all! And it’s easily accessible by metro.

Joli parc avec une très belle vue sur Montréal. Parc calme et agréable pour se balader. Possibilité de louer vélo, trotinette.
Il y a la biosphère à visiter et le parc d'attraction.
Petit coup coeur pour les chaises installées au niveau des points de vues!

Other than the biosphere, and swimming pool area, it was a bit run down and tired and not many people on a Sunday afternoon.

What a beautiful island with alien sphere dome! Sports centre, and amusement park. It reminds me of Toronto Island:) Please remember where you park your car or use the map app to save yourself from getting lost as what happened to us hahaha

This is a must visit place while in Montreal. Bring a picnic and your swimsuit and stay all day or spend a quick hour. But definitely make this a stop on your trip. Rent bikes on the island and ride around Gilles Villeneuve racetrack. And a beautiful way to see the old port of Montreal. Hidden gem and must see!

Paradis des cyclistes mais rien pour les piétons. Affichage déficient aucun endroit affiché pour les piétons même le pont du cosmos, il faudrait voler au dessus pour le traverser. Pas de bon affichage non plus pour trouver le métro. Dommage.

Nice place, nice park, East access from Berri Station, take Yellow line, first stop. Go at night mid summer for picture of Biodome,
Metro Yellow Line going back to Berri us early to close. So hoo to and then back at night time ASAP.

Nice place for the family, swimming pool, beach, la ronde, biosphere, metro Station, nature, walking, biking and many other things.

Big and beautiful park where you can find bixi station, access to metro (yellow line), route vert and other attractions.

I visited this parc to see the Biosphere actually. But it is a good place to walk, bike and all.there is a big ground may be for parties.
The main thing to be highlighted is the view to the old montreal.it is lit.
There are also lot of architectural beauties too.
The park was calm and quite and peaceful when i visited.
The trails was so beautiful and cool for the hot sun.

J'ai visité ce parc pour voir la biosphère en fait. Mais c'est un bon endroit pour marcher, faire du vélo et tout.il y a peut-être un grand terrain pour les fêtes. La principale chose à souligner est la vue sur le vieux montréal.il est éclairé. Il y a aussi beaucoup de beautés architecturales. Le parc était calme et calme et paisible lors de ma visite. Les sentiers étaient si beaux et frais pour le soleil brûlant.

J’adore ce parc et sa vue sur la skyline de Montréal. On y trouve tout pour passer un bon moment en famille ou entre amis. Des grands espaces, des tables de pique-nique, de vraies toilettes… la seul contrainte est que le parc ferme à un certain moment et les équipes de sécurité nous demande de quitter les lieux 30min avant. Pour nous il était 23h.

Endroit unique au Québec pour les passionnées des sports et de la nature. On y retrouve une canopée exceptionnelle, l'une des plus rares et vieilles au Québec, en effet, le parc a une collection d'arbres rares et également patrimoniaux, à découvrir dans le Jardin des Floralies et sur l'île de Ste-Hélène. L'Espace 67 est un projet mise en place pour les promoteurs évenementiels qui souhaitaient bonifier l'offre des spectacles publiques dans un endroit stratégique sur le parc (notamment les grosses programmations pouvant accueillir des milliers de personnes). De ce fait, la place au sport et à la nature arrive en second dans les priorités du parc. Depuis environ 15 ans, les infrastructures du parc tombent en morceau, on pense aux pavillons de l'Expo 67 établit dans une optique temporaire à l'époque qui n'ont pas subit de rénovation majeure. On pense à la Roseraie d'Hélène de Champlain le long du chemin Mcdonals qui a des tonelles en ruines qui menace de tomber. Le Pavillon de la Corée qui se trouve près de l'arrêt de bus, la Place des Nations (bien que citée dans le Plan Directeur 2021) ainsi que divers emplacement bien présent à la vue des visiteurs. Le parc à dans la tête un avenir plus axée sur l'environnement, la mobilité et la prise de conscience envers la biodiversité pour la prochaine décennie. L'offre de restauration est dans la mire mais c'est toujours mieux de prévoir un lunch ou un pique-nique avant le déplacement. C'est à voir.

Parc Jean Drapeau is by far my favorite parc in Montréal so far. It’s a great location for families on a picnic day trip, for amateurs, semi pro and professional bikers, joggers, lovers, or for those who love photography especially flowers macro photography.

It’s a one parc on 2 islands system and the beauty of it is that one can escape the city and its noise, cars, humans, Covid, literally just by crossing the bridge.

A wonderful location to spend hours enjoying nature, birds singing, color change of our rivers as a factor of skies reflection, trees, greens, and of course my favorite, macro photography.

The sight is even absolutely breathtaking in the fall when leaves colors go from green to red and everything in between the spectrum.

My extra special thank yous to the women and men who work on a daily basis keeping the parc as pretty as it is every day, and to the city for this wonderful treasure.

Great place to swim! Staff looked organized and were friendly. Covid safety measures seemed to be well respected by both staff and patrons.

The pool was at a nice temperature to swim in even on a cloudy day. There were a few leaves in it at the bottom here and there, but it was still very clean, especially for the first day open of the season!

Please respect the privacy of the animals here. Also some need to be relocated from time to time.the islands are only so big.

Also don't hurt the animals with the striped tails, and the little fur. The ones that get in the garbage sometimes. They know not what they do.

L'explanade des spectacles est un espace trop vide et aggressif lorsqu'il n'y a rien. Le reste du parc est d'une grande beauté. Tôt le matin, vous risquez d'avoir des belles surprises: oiseaux, petits animaux et même des renards.

Fun place to visit, I prefer to get around on a bicycle. It's a pretty good big place to walk around.
You can bring picnic and enjoy the view.
You can visit early in the morning to avoid crowds, or at night to enjoy the illuminated areas.

A surprising pleasure, almost hidden for a great day trek for hiking, photography, and solitude. The Stewart Museum is an honest approach to very complicated history.

L'endroit a été réaménagé dernièrement. Superbe endroit pour passer l'après-midi au Pik nique électronique ou autres festivités en famille. Station Bixie juste à la sortie du métro Jean-Drapeau. Très belle piste cyclable pour se rendre également au parc.
