La plage serait due pour du nouveau sable et être bien nettoyé parce qu'il y a de la vitre et de toutes sortes de choses dans le sable elle serait vraiment du pour un bon climat et un bon ajout de beaux sable fin

Consider it a good alternative to Marina Chelsea or Leamy Lake for a picnic. Its quieter, there's way more parking, a life-guarded beach, sports, facilities. The trail from it is historic so you can walk along the Ottawa River the way Jacques Cartier might have albeit in a more comfortable manner. The only thing it lacks is a small jetty for kayaks or rafts. Also if you want a decent bite you'll only find fast food restaurants

Nice clean beach and with basketball court, playground for kids. Very good place spend time with family and friends. This is the place if you're looking for a relaxing day.

The park area itself is fine.but I wouldn't swim there.no way its just too dirty.but honestly its the river in general.if u do swim and bring children just make sure they take a good bath afterwards

I wouldnt necessarily swim here put the park is perfect for all sorts of other activities. The bike path leads to Ottawa and can be done in a loop or is flat enough on one side to roller blade on.
There is also plenty of sun or shady spots to lay on and enjoy the outdoors or have a picnic.

Changing room/bathrooms are available as well as a small tool/repair station gor bicycles.

Les enfants adorent les structures de jeux et il y a plusieurs tables à picnic de disponibles! On adore cet endroit!

I thought it would be a good idea to go check out a different park with my kids, but when I got there I was disgusted! There was bird droppings everywhere.
We couldn't walk anywhere it was ALL over

Love it here for picnics sports a nice walk on Thursday there is a market there is a nice restaurant that serves real good food 2 blocks away there is a beach but I wouldn't swim in that water and there is bike paths it is really nice its worth checking out

Great Beach and so close. It's just in Hull by the Champlain Bridge. Super spot with various sports courts (basket ball, tennis, volley ball). Kids play soccer there sometimes and there is greenspace for picnicking too. Nice sandy beach for sunbathing and a bike path.

It was awesome. There was "Zumba in the park" for free on Wednesdays at 7pm. I was able to park my car, walk with baby in the stroller and dance away. It was nicely organized with instructors and places for the people to dance. They had loud speakers so even though I danced in the back, I could hear the music. Great music selection too! 80s music, Salsa, Current pop music, etc. The instructors were energetic too. Next time I'll bring my husband and toddler. The park is very large. There's a community center building, baseball diamond, basketball court and two playgrounds with picnic tables everywhere. And it's right at the water. There is a beach and bike path too. Absolutely beautiful. I will go again

Magnifique parc. Beaux terrains de tennis et de Baseball. J'y ajouterais des jeux d'eaux pour les enfants et des tables de pour manger. Malheureusement, il y a tellement de Bernache, qu'il est impossible de marcher sans mettre les pieds dans la mer#$

Beautiful park. Perfect place for families. You can swim by the beach, play different sports and walk down a large walking/biking path.

You can find different kind of activities which are organized by "Ville de Gatineau" in this place, like live music, public sport courses, Etc.
Also it has beach for swiming.

It's an alright place. A little too much and disorganized. A park, a beach, sportif and alot geese drops. I'd like to think someone could be hired to clean the stuff considering its hazardous. I'd stick to biking pass and admiring what it appears to be.the all in one stop for lower Hull.

Beau parc avec plage, piste cyclable et différentes attractions. Parfait pour une sortie familiale.

Belle endroit. Belle plage et installation adéquate. La plage était fermé à la baignade à cause de la présence des oiseaux et leurs excréments.

Fun place to be, but not when your 6 year old son has to go to the bathroom. No toilets available on site and the markets nearby don't allow access to the bathroom.

Bel espace pour faire un picnic en famille, jouer dans le sable et à la plage avec les enfants! On y trouve pour tous les goûts que ce soit pour s'amuser en jouant au Baseball ou au Basketball entre amis! Il y a deux parcs, un pour les toits petits et un d'un niveau supérieur pour plaire aux plus grands! Facile d'accès à Vélo comme en auto, plusieurs emplacements de stationnement à proximité, un de mes parcs préférés de la région!

Jadore ce parc. Avec les enfants, le chien oiu meme seule, cest un endroit tres plaisant. La nature en pleine ville!

Jolie parc avec de belle terrasse sur le bord de l'eau. Plein de belle structures pour les enfants, un jolie terrain de tennis, de basketball et surtout de volleyball. Jolie endroit pour faire un picnic et de profiter des petites entreprises locales. Edgar, Bébé gâteau et divers autres.

Beautiful park, has an amazing beach facing the city. Kids play area, tennis courts bike lanes. 10 min from downtown Ottawa plenty of nice views and very peaceful. It wasn’t busy during covid time. No a bbq parc it is more going swimming and walking biking even going hiking off-road. I m pleasantly surprised I found this

Great place to bring the kids to the park to play. This park has lots of outdoor structures for children of all ages to enjoy for hours. Seating for parents available. Plenty of free parking. It's also a good area to enjoy winter activities like sledding, ice fishing, and skating. Beautiful area for a picnic and a swim or a summers stroll. The sunsets are spectacular!

Un tout inclus: verdure, pistes cyclables, station d'entretien vélo, terrains de tennis, volleyball, basket ball, tables de pique-nique, centre communautaire.

Nous sommes allés pour une activité d'été. À mon avis, la plage été très bien entretenue. Les service des toillets est très bon et le parc accessible. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de place pour stationnement mais la possibilité de le faire dans les environs.

Ce parc combine tennis, terrains de jeux et une plage surveillée. C'est un endroit à visiter pendant l’été pour la baignade ou pour le reste de l’année, pour observer la rivière.

The place is windy yet calm. A good place to hang out with friends or family and enjoy the sunset. There is a basketball court and a volleyball ground as well. Sufficient parking space is available.

A really easy going location for some light outdoor adventures! Kids love coming here to dip there feet in the water and look for frogs and minnows! Shallow waters near the shores. Bring a picnic and spend a couple hours enjoying its beauty.

Very well organized, and equipped. Nice for all ages and all interests. There is also a small beach, good for kids.

Went to watch some local teams play baseball. Nice well kempt park with many amenities, access to a beach and lots of day time stuff going on there. Nice park for younger kids as well.

Nice park, my 18 month old granddaughter loves this parc. Especially the moma and child duo swing.

Nice structures for kids, there's a beach, and a nice place to go for a walk and check out the rapids

Don't know if it's always that windy but if its a windy day prepare yourself to have your hair blown!

Bel endroit, le bruit de l'eau est très relaxant et la vue d'Ottawa est belle. C'est facile de passer un bon moment tranquille.

Correct. Mais la qualité de l'eau a diminué au fil des ans et il manque un ti qque chose par rapport à l'ambiance.

J’habite tout près et c’est un incontournable dans le quartier. C’est un parc magnifique, accessible par la piste cyclable. Idéal pour pratiquer plusieurs sports; tennis, baseball, volley-ball, basket-ball. La plage est plutôt petite mais n’est pas trop fréquentée.

Ben aime bien mais nous avons peu l'occasion d'y aller car loin de Gatineau bien que assez central pour Hull. Il y a de tout: grande structures sur sable avec souvent des enfants, terrains de tennis, de basket, plage surveillée, sentiers avec beaux espaces verts avec connexions aux pistes cyclables.

Agréable pour prendre une marche ou faire un pic nic. Différent sport y sont pratiqué. On peu voir entre autre des gens faire du surf. Ces bien car ces rare de voir sa par ici.
