Parc nature les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare

Un des parc les plus complets que j'ai trouvé dans mon secteur! Glissade sur tubes, patinoire, randonnée, tir à l'arc, parc pour enfants, c'était vraiment super comme journée!

Walked the trail yesterday, all the way.
9km. Trail was in great shape even after all the snow melted.
Trail 3,4 and five are definitely for expert cross country skiers.

Les installations sont très bien adaptées à leurs mandats. La difficulté se situe à l'abondance de sable dans les pistes pour la randonnée et la présence trop fréquente de crotin de cheval.

Très beau parc pour ski vélo, raquette, marche etc. On passent de très belles journées en pleinne air!

J’adore aller faire du ski de fond à cet endroit! Le personnel à la location est toujours accueillant et souriant. Les pistes sont bien entretenues. Le prix de la location de l’équipement complet de skis de fond est approprié. Par contre, je trouve que payer 35$ pour 1 enfant et 3 adultes à l’entrée, car nous ne sommes pas résidents de St-Lazare, est trop cher. Ça devient difficile de pouvoir aller à cet endroit, car devoir payer ce prix que pour entrer sur le site en plus de payer la location de l’équipement, à chaque fois, bien il est préférable de trouver un endroit où l’entrée n’est pas aussi chère. Il pourrait être avantageux pour ceux qui louent de l’équipement sur place, de faire un rabais à l’entrée pour les non résidents?
Ça pourrait être une option.

This place is nice and offers a variety of things to enjoy including a playground, a low ropes/bridges course in the trees and an outdoor pool! When we went, it wasn't busy, so we enjoyed that. They have picnic tables provided to sit or eat at and access to a bathroom at the pool area as well. The kids had a great time swimming, and they provide some extra shade at the pool as well, which was appreciated on that sunny day. The only thing I would change is that only my big children could go down the water slide, and there wasn't a little one for my 3 & 2 yr old to do. They badly wanted to go down it, but they'd have to do so alone, as the water is too deep for me to "catch" them at the bottom, and it's roped off so no one is allowed in the landing zone anyways. A small little slide at the shallow end would have been enjoyable and well used.

Cute space for older kids. There's a ziplining section, swings, (no baby swings), a play structure and fun games to play. It's very shaded as well. Great space!

Everything you'd want to do outdoors, you can do here. In winter there's 12kms of cross-country skiing, a tubing hill with free tube rentals, a long figure-eight skating loop, and side paths for snowshoe trails. The rest of the year you can enjoy multiple walking and hiking trails, a fantastic jungle gym and acro course, a municipal pool, and beautiful spots to relax under the trees.

C'est un beau parc où ont peut y pratiquer plusieurs sports d'hivers! Les pistes de ski de fond sont belles!

Good for cross country skiing. They have a nice loop, with many options to loop back if you're tired. Trails are in good condition.

I have been in this park several times before. Last year it was still free for hiking, but now is not and the most incredible is the price $25 for a family with 2 kids, much higher than other regional or national parks.

Frankly fantastic municipal park that has it all. Multiple hiking trails, lots of wooded areas, plentiful wildlife. In winter, a large outdoor skating oval, outdoor fire pit, tubing hill, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails as well as pedestrian walks. Equipment rentals are possible as well. Ample parking, access is free for Saint-Lazare and Hudson residents and a minimal fee for all others. Highly recommended.

Such a great place for nature activities. My family and I went cross country skiing and skating there. We had a fun time!

Easy trails that offer ravines, forest and streams. You’ll find mushrooms, mosses and maybe horses along the trails. Trails are open all year. Some parts are accessible for hikers, equestrians or snowshoers in winter but many are for the sad x-country skiers.

Loved it! Me and kids had a 12km hike through lots of beautiful nature, Trail is mostly sand though so be prepared. Saw people riding the horses and at the end of the hike we enjoyed the park and games at the front entrance near the parking, all in all great experience will definatly return.

First visit: it's a great place to go with family and friends to make multiple winter sports (XC skiing beginner here). Recommended

Super belle journée! Nous y avons fait de la raquette, le sentier propose des énigmes amusante tout le long du parcours, ça agrémente le circuit, c'est amusant!

I love this place so much. From the beautiful autumn walking trails to the snowshoe trails to the tubing hill. The skating ring is well maintained and spacious. The tubes are clean and well maintained with products for santizing available. They also have snow-accessible wheelchairs It's a fantastic winter day out - cross country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, walking and tubing! I can't wait to see all they offer in summer!

Great local spot to stroll in the woods, cross country ski, tubing, skating and just enjoy the fresh air!

Bel endroit pour faire une randonnée pendant la COVID. Il existe plusieurs boucles, la plus longue a 9.4km. Aucun frais de passage. Absolument gratuit. Les sentiers sont large et de calibre facile. Stationnement disponible. Avec la venue de l’hiver les sentiers seront probablement transformés en piste de ski de fonds. Il est possible qu’il ne soit plus possible de faire des randonnées a pieds. Great park with nice trails and fantastic potential. Use it to ride my quad, hike and run. Would be great if they allowed bikes and has less horse manure on all the trails.

What a beautiful finding this park. Yes it's a little drive for us, but the kids loved it so much that we went back few times already this summer. You can snowshoe during winter time & other sports can be performed. That park is huge and the facilities are well kept!

Un beaux parc ou ont peut faire une randonnée de promenade et ilya plein choses a faire dans ce parc mais je pense maintenant c'est juste pour les résidents de Saint Lazare qui peuvent aller dans ce parc.

J'aime bien se parc. Très grand, avec beaucoup de sentir, un parc pour enfant, patinoire, glissade, ski de fond, raquette, randonnée et beaucoup plus.

C’est un très beau parc. Les sentiers sont bien identifiés. Plusieurs activités. J’ai hâte de retourner en hiver pour faire la raquette.

What a discovery. This park has everything a nature lover needs. Beautiful paths to walk, hike, ride and even ride a horse.also along the path R2 you can answer enigma, 25 of them. Good for body and mind. I recommend it highly

There are plenty of trails, easy for kids. There are also different typea of trees, so you can easily see the difference. There are some some games for kids, which was a nice surprise to us. The only downside I would say, is the trails are shared with horses, and there is horse poop all over the place.

Very nice place for a walk. Nice big trails. Nice place for beginners or with kids, just watch out for poop from horses as there is a lot!

Superbe parc nature avec des sentiers multi-usages pour toutes les saisons, une patinoire extérieur l'hiver, une piscine et beaucoup d'activités organisés.

Magnifique endroit pour faire une belle randonnée l'automne et du ski de fond et de la raquette l'hiver.

Belle endroit, c'est super, sauf, qu'il devrait avoir des toilettes chimiques a des endroits stratégique, mais! Faut voir, tres belle place

Les cours de natation pour les enfants sont très bien. Les sentiers sont vastes et très bien entretenus. Les jeux d'hébertisme sont parfaits pour des jeunes enfants.

Pas idéal pour la marche. Les sentiers sont vraiment plus faits pour la promenade à cheval ou en hiver pour le ski de fond. De plus, les sentiers sont plus ou moins bien identifiés. Je donne 4 étoiles car c'est gratuit.
