Prices reasonable and tasty. Friendly staff
The only caveat is that some things at the counter could not be ordered while seated at the restaurant.

Was very good, excellent lasagna, chicken parmigiana, the pasta was very good appetizers were excellent. Worth the visit

Real italian piccolo ristorante. Also a nice corner store. We adored the food and the service. They even have a Toto painting ;)

Ordered a pull pork sandwich. Thick white dry bread, thin dry pulled pork. Some hot mustard. Nothing else. No veggie, pickled or fresh; no oil, no cheese, no serious attempt to make it an enjoyable meal.

I guess it was better than a vending machine sandwich, but not close to worth the price. I'd give 1 star, but my gf's pasta was good, so you get 2 stars.

We came as a group of 11 people. I was skeptical on whether they would be able to accommodate us, but it was perfect. The server made us feel welcome and even brought us a special hot sauce as we are hot sauce fanatics. All our dishes were tasty. The prices were very fair considering the portion size. The ambiance was beautiful, a bit retro and definitely good for pictures. Overall a really good experience, will definitely be coming back.

My mouth dropped when she brought the spaghetti bolognese. The portion was so small for 20$ a plate. Even the bread they brought out was miniscule, they looked cracker sized. Then it got worst when I tasted the food and it tasted like unseasoned watery spaghetti. Gross. Then came the worst part.the bill! 50$ in total w the 6$ sparkling water and a child sized 16$ caprese salad. Its not about the money but the value of what we got. We left hungry, dissapointed and horrified. I am definitely never stepping foot here again. Not recommended at all. At ALL.

Delivery was packaged very neatly! Pesto with Burrata, and cannolis were amazing. Pasta e fagioli didn’t taste as special as the rest of the dishes though.

Great old School Italian Cousine restaurant, good quantity and also they have a bakery inside so you can always get a fresh Italian bread to go.

Food was delicious! Had bruschetta to start, and cannelloni for my main. I also had few bites of my friends arancini.

I love to order pasta from this restaurant on Uber eats but this time, I decided to visit them, and it turned out to be a great experience! The place is clean; the service is excellent and fast. The lady who took our order was very nice to our kids and us. Fettuccine alfredo should be your first choice!

The food here was absolutely awesome and truly something different than what I have tried before! The rest is ok, but only the delicious stuff there worth not 5 but 10 stars

Had a ravioli made with pumpkin and almond and it was flavorless. There was suppose to be a white wine sauce which there was hardly any kind of sauce I won't go again.

Very small place, but has a touch of vintage. An old but awesome place to enjoy quality dinner. The location is nice and the food is very delicious.

People welcomed both English and French. They try to suggest you the best based on what you wanted to have, if that item is already finished. Very nice, cozy and kid friendly.

I love the supermarket section of Pasta Casaraccia, I can buy fresh, pre-cooked or frozen meals and find everything from soup to salad to main course to dessert and beyond. The staff are super helpful and knowledgeable and the same is true of the wait staff. Wish I could give 10 stars!

Underwhelming Italian food, tasted bland to me. I don't understand the reviews, yes the service is good but there are much better Italian restaurants in the city.

I went to this restaurant with a good friend of mine, for the very first time. The food was incredible! The service was terrific! It was such a wonderful experience, this is now my GO TO place when I want to go out to dine!

Amazing home style Italian food. Great service. This is a truly great pasta place. Pasta is made in-house. I had the osso bucco, it was amazing. My daughter had seafood pasta, glorious. Specials on the blackboard every day. We will be back often. Parking on the street. Specialty Italian products for sale.

Food was cold and the service was very very slow and they Still Wanted a Tip.
They were Verbally upset with my very small tip. This resulting
the other people bill's being late and they'll had the same opinion about the meals and service.

Great service and great food! Waitress was very attentive to our needs and kindly took us through the specials. The food was amazing, fresh and flavourful.

We ordered take-out based on the good reviews this place had however, upon getting the tortellini & cannelloni, we were utterly disappointed. It tasted like jarred ravioli. The sauce had no flavours which is why I referenced how they tasted like canned food. To top it off the filling was bland & it is just very disappointing for an ‘Italian’ restaurant as we’re well-versed around this cuisine. Couldn’t even finish the dish- I would recommend tasting your own dishes over again to see for yourself with all due respect. Our regards~

The Pasta was good and tasty but for some reason the cannoli tasted more like alcohol than a pastry.

La meilleure lasagne à Montréal. J'en mange depuis 25 ans! Plus petite, plus chère mais toujours aussi bonne!

Their food is amazing. It is well priced, the selection is great and their lasagna is delicious. Right now, they have this soft served coffee situation happening and honestly, I don't drink or like coffee, but I would go back for another.

To try: proscutto stuffed mushrooms. It might be something you will think of buying but once you do, you'll go back for more.

I have been dining at this restaurant since 2001. Great authentic Italian food at good prices and good portions. Most dishes are home made and there are lots of hard-to-find specialties, such as their unique olives. I live about 20 kms away, definitely worth the experience.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, not long to get food. Excellent service. It's an old building so watch the few steps inside here and there as well as when using the bathroom.

We have been wanting to try Pasta Casareccia for a while and we did takeout tonight. The Gnocci were perfect, the Arabiata sauce was delicious and the rapini was great. We had a really nice meal and for awesome homemade pasta, try Pasta Casareccia

YUM, yum, yum, yum, yum. That's all I can say. Best sausages I've ever eaten in my life, not to mention the arancini. Highly recommend for freshly made pasta, simple sauces and Italian goods.

The place was nice (cosy), classic Italian deli / restaurant. We bought a variety of items. The porchetta is amazing. Pasta + sauce was nice, but a little under seasoned, lack of salt - lack of spices, bland. The arancini were 'ok' we only really enjoyed the green one. Everything was on the pricey side, I don't feel it was necessarily worth it. I would not go again. But it's worth a try if you are looking for homemade classical Italian dishes.

Great place to get Italian prepared food. Always fresh, always consistently delicious. On top of their quality foods, the people who work there are always warm and friendly. Do not hesitate to pay them a visit.

I have not tried their food, but I have bought a couple of things from their shop once: a whole chicken and 3 plastic containers of yeast (for baking). Each of the containers contained approximately 3 tbs of yeast, The 3 portions could fit perfectly in one container. So, I approached the owner at the till to ask if it would be possible to have the 3 tiny portions put in just one container. To my surprise, he BARKED at me and proceeded to mansplain I could reuse the containers. No big deal. He was not shy to show me how annoyed he was by my request. He behaved as an uneducated entitled chauvinist bully. There was a young man working at the store who had shown me where to find the yeast. He was pleasant and helpful and I hope he is treated well by his bully boss. I doubt I will ever be back:/

I went there this past October for a Family Reunion. Lovely place but food was mediocre at best. Still enjoyed the Reunion.

Quaint little place. Server was very sweet and attentive. Pasta was very good. I opted for a half a serving and they obliged. Prices are a little high but food was great overall.

Living in difficult times we try to keep some normalcy. So, since on Saturday night I do not cook and we can't go out to a restaurant for dinner, we do the take out thing. So tonight it was Italian. We went for the lasagna at a place that has been around for 35 years. Wow. Not a good wow. But a holy moly wow. Really that was $33. Not happening again. Don't get me wrong. It was tasty but "where's the beef"? We bought a meat lasagna but has trouble finding the beef. It was lots of sauce and bechamel. I added parmesan cheese on top. No cheese on the top. Who make lasagna with no cheese on top? I guess they do

My group of friends came in for Valentine's day, the owner took amazing care of us! It was an amazing, unforgettable experience. I can't recommend this place enough. Fantastic food, warm hospitality, I will make it a point to return whenever I'm in town!

Unbelievable food & friendly service! They have a nice wine list and the delicious pasta is only the beginning of their scrumptious menu.

Went here with some friends when on a weekend trip and it's not only the best Italian I've ever had, it's one of the best restaurant experiences I've had period. The food was exceptional and even after eating a lot, I felt full without feeling heavy and gross.

The best part was the service though. The owner was in the store and the nicest guy. He kept bringing our table small portions of their various dishes for us to sample and also regularly brought over black garlic butter for our bread, which is one of the best things ever. He's a proper Italian owner who talks to you and makes you feel like you're not just a customer but a guest in his home.

I will absolutely be making more trips here in the future.

Wish Gordon Ramsay would taste this to rip this chef a new one. Worst italian food I've had in a long time. Don't normally review but the sauce was acidic and downright trash. Tasted like cafeteria food at best. My tortellini was undercooked and hard. I know what Al Dente is but that was not it.

Pasta was bland and sauce did not taste home made. There were no fresh herbs or garlic in the sauce. Prices rather high. Quality very average. Won't be going back. I can make better pasta at home.

This is a restaurant that makes fresh pasta. They also sell fresh pasta over the counter. They have a good selection of homemade pasta and meats. I had the rigatoni napolitano, it was very good, but portion was a bit small for my taste.

Delicious, real food at reasonable prices. Last night our group enjoyed a selection of wonderful dishes of the day: pasta with clams (currently a Friday-night special), pasta with rapini and sausage, and pasta in a spicy Sicilian pepper sauce (whose unusual smokiness reminded us of chipotle). Accompanied by a dry, full-bodied Italian red (a steal for the price). Warm, attentive and helpful service. Highly recommended!

Great family own Italien restaurent! Their fresh pasta counter is one of the best in town! Try the fresh Tortellini and Lasagna:)

I normally have the lasagna, but this time I had the spaghetti, which was delicious. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The take-out section is like homemade. They have everything Italian.

The food was truly delicious.my husband had the lasagna w/ meat sauce. Homemade pasta.so tender! Generous portion, enough to take home for another meal! I had the Osso Bucco, one of the best I have ever had. They also have a take out counter of their products.

I was expecting "mama's cooking" as described by other reviewers. Instead got Chef Boyardee' cooking. It reminded me of my childhood, the sauce like in that canned food.

Great homemade pasta, simple, real Italian mama cooking, prices good. Also many specialty products for sale, try their homemade tiramisu! Wow.you can even buy it frozen! I've been there many times since it opened over 25 years ago. ️

Fantastic, delicious, scrumptious pasta dishes-made with beautiful homemade pasta. The seasonings were perfect, the service was also very attentive. The zucchini flower entrée was piping-hot, crisp, yet mouth-wateringly smooth in texture. The fish dish "en papillote" was average at best, though (it would have been tastier with only capers, a hint of lemon and butter, and a little fresh thyme rather than tomatoes and olives), and the crema cotta, because it was served with some lovely but acidic berries, had unfortunately curdled, which made me sad given the very high and in fact perfect quality of the pasta offerings. Fresh fig, pear, or quince jam instead of small fruits might have solved the problem. The store portion of the restaurant offers homemade dishes to go, like lasagna, arancini, mushrooms stuffed with prosciutto, olives, and Italian sweets. Go for the pasta, and perhaps try the gelato, torte, or tiramisu for dessert. Great espresso and generous fruit-filled homemade biscotti.
