The outside looks inviting, I went inside (ccoler) and bought a cappuccino and a apple pastry. The girl behind the counter very friendly. The foam on the cappuccino disappeared before my eyes, what a disappointment. The apple pastry had little apple in it.
I won't try that again. I did return another day and bought a baguette, and that one was very nice.

Got a chocolatine for lunch, and it was buttery, chocolaty and delicious! The filter coffee was quite strong. Lots options of cookies, pastries, and sandwich/dessert/salad combo specials. Got 6 yummy cookies for $8. Friendly service and quite a spacious place for sitting down and eat.

Delicious pastries and great variety of options. Fast, polite service. Also not that expensive given the quality. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely the worst.

This morning I got two almond croissants - not only were the bottoms soggy, the croissants were actually still frozen and the almond filling was horrendous. What a terrible croissant.

Note: they have no milk substitutes so I couldn't get a coffee either.

Endroit à éviter. La propriétaire n’est pas sympathique, les prix sont beaucoup trop élevés et les propriétaires refusent parfois de payer leurs employés pour leurs heures travaillées.

Average pastries and sandwiches, average coffee, ok service that tries to be classic, French rude, but comes off as your unimpressed schoolteacher. Will always do if you're hungry in a pinch in Montreal West.

Amazing place with delicious cakes, croissants and fresh expresso! The almond croissant is delicious!

Le pain y est bon, les viennoiseries laissent un peu à désirer. Le smoothie que j'y ai goûté a un goût industriel.

Les croissants au beurre sont excellents le service très agréable et que dire des patisseries qui sont un délice.

Great pastries, but I don't know if they know how to make espressos, other than using the automatic settings on their machine. The double long espresso seems to be always made like an "Americano", and hence contains too much water. This is true for any coffee shop to which I've been, not just this one. The sandwiches are delicious too.

Great staff, felt very welcomed. Prices are reasonable, especially when you realise the effort put in them.
Sandwich are great but don't forget to ask them to add garnish into it or else they are a bit plain.
Great atmosphere, you can sit there all day without a bother.

I have lived in the area for 23 years and I have always enjoyed having this patisserie walking distance from my house. So many of the reviews I have read here are mean-spirited, it’s hard to believe what people are writing. This is authentic France-French food made the traditional way. We are blessed to have this in the area and I for one would be very sad if ever the patisserie closed. Now I would normally give 5 stars but yesterday something happened. I bought a baguette in the early morning and when I got home I realized that it was very hard and quite obviously very stale. Normally you can squeeze a fresh baguette but this one was so hard as to be inedible.

I went back to quietly ask for an exchange. The young girl insisted I was wrong and only after several minutes of haggling did she offer to exchange the bread. After 23 years of customer loyalty I felt put off by this. I was made to feel like a liar which I am not. Perhaps a mistake was made? I will give the benefit of the doubt, but may I suggest some better training for this type of incident.

Lastly as an anglophone I always make it a point to speak French here and I see no issue with that. I think the people here work hard. They wake up very early every day to bake our bread. Prices are very reasonable overall and this is a quaint spot to relax. We should all be much more appreciative and respectful towards the people who work hard to feed us with quality traditional food.

Delicious salad, sandwich and almond croissants. Nice place to sit and read the paper or talk to a friend. Close to the train station.

Used to be a beloved neighborhood spot for good quality bread and pastries, now.not so much. The quality of the cakes went down too much. Last time I went there for a coffee, the owner was also rude for no reason. Won't be going back.

Unfortunetly I didnt enjoy it at all. Workers are nice but we trew away our sandwiches (one side is wet and another is super dry). Deserts are good. This why 2 stars. Drinks (fruty) it's normal water. Glad to see nice and polite people but wasnt able to eat there: (

3$ min for debit. Which means I have to buy something else with my coffee. Poor customer experience.
Won't come back and highly discourage you to support businesses such as this one.

I live right around the corner from the patisserie and I will go out of my way to Avoid buying pastries there. The croissants are never browned enough, the chocolatier are very scant on the chocolate (Monkland croissantier) have double the amount of chocolate. The Almond croissant is flat and heavy. Most offensive part of this pastry shop is the server. Everyone knows Who she is so, If you have it’s to go anywhere else go anywhere else. This business needs to close. I went there the other day because I really wanted a croissant and didn’t have my car biggest mistake of my life won’t be doing that anymore. Very bad business practices, stale bread, stale pasteries And will never address you back in English. That I have a problem with. Will never buy a pastry there again

Went to buy a Ham Sandwich at the counter for about 7$, I have asked if they could grill them but they said no because they're about to close. To my surprise upon opening it, the sandwich doesnt even have a garnish on it, not ever a layer of mayonaise! Just plain bread and ham. And for 7$!? ! Come on. I'd give them 1/2 a star if its posible.

Local patisserie serving good coffee, sweet pastries and bread and quiches. Plenty of seating inside.

Great for a coffee and even then I would not trust them anymore. Their business is so much going down that they begun to cut into their quality while keeping pristine prices. You’ll better be elsewhere.

Our favourite baguette on the west side of the city. This is a classic french bakery, with amazing pastry and fine chocolate options too.

Really disappointed today. The cashiere refused to speak English even though this is quite the bilingual area of town, the coffee was weak and tasteless. And they had the nerve to charge an extra $0.50 just to have the overpriced bread we bought sliced. Lafreniere, just down the street, will get our business from now on.

Les gâteaux sont excellents. La qualité des viennoiseries est plus variable, et le service est un peu lent, mais ça reste une boutique sympathique avec beaucoup de choix et un grand espace pour s'asseoir et boire une boisson chaude!

Les gâteaux sont toujours super délicieux, le rapport qualité prix est pile point. Toujours un plaisir d'être leur client.
