Terrible customer service. We wanted to return the cake that we only tried a small piece but they didn’t accept. Do not waste your money on this store. We got a cake for the first time and it was absolutely nothing. 30 $ for a small cake only for cream and basic cake and not fresh. First time and last time. Not recommended

This is my go-to cannolli place in Ottawa. They fill them on the spot and they are so delicious.

I had the sfogliatelli and the Portuguese natas (with hazelnut chocolate spread). Both exceeded my expectations! I loved the creamy custard and flaky pastry in sfogliatelli. And the nutella is an excellent addition to the traditional Portuguese egg tart! Highly recommend this place. I absolutely loved the white box and ribbon they put my pastries in, but for time and environmental sake, I'll ask for the paper sack next time.

It was my first time eating this place and I had a piece of a chocolate cake wasn't impressed at all but I also had a cornet that was pretty delicious. And their croissants are heavenly. Can't wait to go back and try more. (lovely employees)

This place can put all the big names to shame!
When you're in the big grocery stores its easy to forget about the little guys but this place is worth the detour.
I definately recommend.

I love bakeries and great pastries. What can I say about this bakery.
1) I bought puff tubes with cream, it was not bad.
2) bought a baba-rum, it was perfect, the rum impregnation was well balanced.
3) I bought a baguette, I didn’t like the baguette.this is never a French baguette, so you guys still have to work on the bread recipe! But I'll still call for baba-rum when I'm in these parts!

This is by far the best bakery I have ever tried. The service is impeccable and the food is to die for! What ever you’re looking for, whether it’s pizza, meatballs or cakes and pastries, they have is ALL! Would highly recommend this bakery, you won’t regret it!

The cakes look delicious, the problem was the girl serving behind the counter.
When my mom started to ask some questions regarding the cake’s size she answered with a little bit of attitude.
We decided to leave without anything after that.

This is the most delicious bakery store, so professional and skilled.

Meh. I know businesses are trying in these times and I don't like to leave such reviews. But I was a bit disappointed in the cannoli, for me it seemed a bit stale and soggy like it was not prepared that day.: (The filling was tasty but the shell ruined it. I really wanted to like the place (especially after seeing reviews raving about the cannoli and as there's a lot of variety). But to me the quality is not there to call it a true patisserie. I went in for cupcakes which they didn't have or don't offer so I decided to choose a couple things. The only thing that tasted ok to me were the almond flour cookies. There was some kind of lemon pastry - it was like dried bread with icing. Not impressed.: (. Maybe I chose the wrong stuff or went on an off day.

I have yet to try a good portion of the goods here. All I can say is I love the prepared pizza dough and red pizza they offer. Staff have always been responsive and quick.

Service à la clientèle 0, aucun sourire ou une accueille chaleureuse envers les clients, la propriétaire a l’aire bête, pas professionnel, en plus leurs produits et dégelas.j’avais commandé un gâteau pour la fête à mon fils ho mon dieu j’étayai surpris j’étais très déçu, et personne à manger ce gâteau.c’était catastrophique, dur et sec.j’ai jamais mangé un gâteau aussitôt dégelas que ça.et il était trop cher.
En plus leur croissants ho mon dieu j’avais dépensé 60$ par la suite j’ai tout mis à la poubelle.c’était très dur et sec.sincèrement c’est 0/10 cette pâtisserie.
Pâtisserie lafrenaie est la meilleure un très bon service à la clientèle puis leur produits c’est magnifique.

Their pizza/focaccia is amazing. Their cinnamon rolls are amazing.

It's the best of the Italian pastry shops in LaSalle by far and surrounding areas over all (lachine, ndg, ville emard). Some things that are a cut above most Italian pastry shops in Montreal are: there home made pizza's, and there strawberry shortcake are spot on.

Je suis allée chercher un gâteau pour la fête d'une collègue, frais du jour avec nom ajouté en 2 minutes.impressionnant et délicieux (gâteau avec cannoli).

High quality food. Some prices, particularly for non-fresh foods, are a little high (Bro is double the price of everywhere else) but still by and large a great bakery.

We ordered half of a tomato pizza. It was delicious. In the same time, we tried their cannolis. We could not decide which one to get so got one of each. There were so much pastries and desserts to chose from.

Wowwwww! These were incredible. Ordered for our baby shower. Reasonably priced and the attention to detail from my inspiration photo was spot on. Thank you for contributing to our special day!

I had bought a whole slab tomato pizza two weeks ago and it was fabulous, Full of fresh pureed tomatoes and so fresh you could not hold it up.
I went back today and the pizza was stale and there was no fresh tomato on the pizza.
The tomato was dried up and not fresh at all. I called and spoke to a girl and explained my disappointment and all she said was sorry. I am so disappointed that I will not be going back and I will not recommend your bakery to family and friends.
Very sad that I had to contribute with a review like this.

We are customer since 2004. It’s been two years the quality it’s getting worse and worse. Every thing is fake, we even couldn’t eat a small peace. I will never come back to this store again. Even Maxi has better cake than you guys.

Prendre la peine d’appeler pour faire faire deux pizza avec une extra tomate et que t’arrives et que la pizza et même pas faite et il on pris n’importe quel dans le rack et nous dit que c’est ceux là oufff dsl mes c’est vraiment insultant surtout quand tu appelle 3 jour avant

Seriously frustrated. I called to ask if a custom cake was possible for a certain date.im told to send an email, which I do. I getno reply so I call back and im told, don't worry well get back to you. Still no answer I call again the next day and now im told oh no we stopped taking orders since the week before. WHY wasn't this said before? I wouldn't of been upset had I been told ahead of time, instead I get told not to worry and I have to keep calling over and over to finally get an answer. I'm even wondering if I would've gotten one had I not kept calling.
Its my own fault I should've stuck with my usual baker however this one had been recommended by a friend.
Never again.

Mon ami, c'est une perdition. Ils ont les meilleurs croissants aux amandes et les meilleurs palmiers à Montréal. Je sors toujours plein des délices toujours fraîches.

I've been going there for 15 years. Service has been bad the last few times I've been. Very very slow. Taking many orders and not completing any of them. Both times, the girls didn't know the difference between the different types of meats (salami, mortadella etc). The slices were also extremely thick. For 10 slices of salami, 15 slices of mortadella and 2 paninis, I was there for over 20 min and they forgot my paninis. Will be going to fruiterie Dollard instead from now on for cold cuts.

Tried it again on a Thursday evening. Great staff. MUCH better, super bright and flawless.

I’ve been many times here and enjoy there cakes however when I asked the employee to write happy bday on the cake they rolled there eyes at me and slid the cake on the counter. I’ve asked for it many times and had no issue but this incident left a bad taste in my mouth. In addition when the employee gave the cake to me at the cash she through it on the counter. Very unacceptable! I was buying cakes and cannolis for a long time! I did not rate you a one star because I know all the employees are not like that however it shouldn’t go unnoticed!

The taste was average. Portion sizes for the tiramisu were horrific. The single-serving tiramisus was an oddly shaped little cup that could be eaten in four bites. The eclair was hard as can be. NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
