Peel Pub is just that. Nothing fancy, food is ok, and atmosphere is average. There is a big after work, sports crowd that comes here. The daily drink specials are good if you like beer, but no so good if you like something a little bit harder. I recommend that you try the chicken poutine. It is absolutely delicious. My server spoke English and was polite, but was sort of inattentive and flighty. Peel Pub is a good place to have a beer and a snack before going out on the town.

Walked in and it was empty. Very dark and gloomy. Only had one waitress on and we never got waited on. Staff where in arguments yelling in the main room. Left with out getting a menu

Poutine was fantastic! The Montreal burger was awesome with Smoked Meat from Schwartz's Deli! Wasn't busy around 4: 30 pm on a Friday!

The waiter was cold. No matters. The fries were soft & were frozen ones. 2 waiters were looking us & finally after a while one of them came to serv us. For a Saturday night very small menu. Very deceived not sure if I'll go back. I miss the Peel pub of a couple of years ago. Big menu & great food & good service.

Food was very good and at a reasonable price. Very friendly environment and it gets even better whenever there’s a good game playing.

It was great in November 2019, but now (August 2020) the food in the middle of the day (to be fair - not usual hours for the pub) is horrible! The vegetables for the salad were cut few days before and all dried out. The grilled salmon was raw inside (probably poorly thawed). It's understood that restaurants have to survive nowadays, but not at the cost of customer's satisfaction. Feel sorry for the guys working there.

Very chilled environment, I saw a major boxing match on big screens here. The energy is really good and the food was okay.

This place is a go-to place for comfort food in the middle of downtown Montréal. If you're heading to the Bell Centre to watch a concert or a game or even if you just want to sit with your friends on a terrasse and have a good burger or club sandwich, I'd definitely recommend this place.

First thing first, this place gets crowded very quickly. We sat on the terrasse outside because the weather was nice, but their terrasse is very small which makes the tables very close to one another and a bit of an unpleasant experience.

The place has good food. I had the grilled chicken and goat cheese burger served with mushrooms, onions, fries and coleslaw. The chicken was very well cooked and the burger was filling.

My friends had the chicken fajitas which was part of the daily special menu. It was very good as well, very filling. Overall, the food is great for the price you're paying, the service is very quick (about 15 minutes to get food for 3 people after we've ordered, in a VERY crowded Peel Pub). The waiters work well under pressure, they know their menu and can help you quite well if you have any questions.

The drinking menu is also very diverse, and the bartender will accommodate you if it's not on the menu. It's also quite cheap.

I would definitely recommend Peel Pub, especially sitting outside on their terrasse since the inside is a bit dark. Also, they have televisions if you want to watch the game instead of paying scalpers 150$+ two blocks down the road to have last row tickets and watch the Habs lose!

I went to the Peel Pub with my girlfriend on Thursday of Grand Prix week. I had not been there for about three years, and the last time there we had trouble with the food. I decided to give it another try, and boy what a mistake! My girlfriend ordered the daily special of a rib steak medium rare, and I ordered a smoked meat and fries. In about 10 minutes, I got the smoked meat, and took a bite. It sure looked like it came from a package, because it was very small, and folded, and had no mustard, and was cold. Then the steak came, and we could see right away that it was very dark, and no way medium rare as requested. I got up and called the waitress, and refused to pay for this garbage! She then called over the manager who said to give him a chance to make it right. I said no way and left vowing to never ever return to this place!

Went here 3 times during our stay in Montreal. Once for dinner and twice for drinks on patio. Food was amazing. Try the pizza. Beer is great and the servers were friendly and always attentive. Never waited for a drink. As soon as they saw we were almost done our beer she was there. Highly recommend for all around great experience

Music was too loud, waitresses ignore you, it took 30 minutes to get a drink that wasn't really worth the price. Just bad service in General, the pub is fine not so much the staff.

Première et dernière fois que je vais dans ce bar. En plus d'être une horrible attention (une canette de coca sans glace ou un verre et des ailes de poulet avec barbecue sans serviettes de table), le gars obligé de payer un pourboire en disant que c'est quelque chose de lu et non volontaire. Je vis dans cette belle province depuis un an et je n'ai jamais rencontré quelqu'un d'aussi arrogant et aussi mal élevé. Je conseillerai avec une entité en droit de la consommation et je prendrai des mesures juridiques.

Good food and drinks for an affordable price but very, very loud (as you can expect in a spot frequented by university students) Surprisingly, a fair amount of vegetarian/vegan options. They have a spicy chicken wing challenge if you're up for it.

Good atmosphere and great staff the beer was cold also close to the hotel downtown when I return to Montreal I will definitely drop in again

Me and my wife waited over a hour for food. When we lost patience and asked what the hell is going on, the waiter seemed clueless and later informed us that the ingredients for our order was out of stock and we should order something else. Me and my wife cancelled the order and left without leaving tips. Thanks for ruining our date.

Service and food was amazing came here for our first stop of night life for my buddies Bachlor weekend and price and food was 10/10. Great service from our waitress and hospitality was amazing place was full music pumping and lots of sports games to watch

Quaint. Really depends on when you go and what kinda crowd is there. It's pricey. Things are around $13 - $20. But the plates are huge, so you're getting what you paid for.

La nourriture est bonne, l'endroit est sympathique, le personnel également. Plusieurs écrans TV: idéal pour visualiser des évènements sportifs avec les amis dans une ambiance bon enfant. Un autre avantage de taille: sa situation au centre de Montréal. Je recommande.

Drinks are cheap, food is surprisingly good (we had the Mexican burger) and most of the staff is nice

Drinks were delicious, food not so much. I ordered ravioli with meat sauce. Ravioli tastes like it was microwaved in a bag. Burgers are also too over cooked. Great spot for drinks and hangout, but I don’t recommend food (at least from my experience).

The pub interior is quite old and dated but the drinks are good. Pricing is also good and they often have promotions. This place is popular among students located in the heart of downtown montreal. They also serve food which is pretty good as well. The staff are also efficient and nice. I would return in the future.

26-05-2019: Encore une déception. Le service, la nourriture et les prix sont devenus décevant. Vaut mieux le NextDoor maintenant pour les ailes du poulet du dimanche.

Happy hours sur les boissons alcoolisées 4 à 7. Vendredi 4 à 9 Ansie que 4 assiettes des repas par jour en spécial. Toute différents. Dimanche ailes de poulet à 39 cents bien sûr il faut consommer de l'alcool pour avoir droit

I love their chicken wings, fried Calamary and their burgers! Anything else taken from their menu is a waste of tastebuds.

They have 2 spaces with outdoor seating. Loud music, TV for sporting events and Great friendly customer service.

Drinks are cheap and tasty! They have specials of the week if u are on a drinking budget.

Such a great place! I always go back!

This place has been there ever since I was young and it hasn't improved much. Low budget pub with lots of fast food, drinks and TVs. Cleaningness and service aren't top but most sport events are there
