Peter and Gina have to be some of the nicest people ever! I work for an organization that supports individuals who struggle with their mental health. We have a garden that our residents take care of. Peter and Gina were very kind in donating soil to our project this year. A big thank you from L'ile Des Amis.

We have done several projects large and small with the team at Sources Nursery. The largest project was a complete redo of our backyard, including new stone for the yard and a revitalization of our pool. The owners Peter and Gina have that rare combination of artistic values with practical construction knowledge. The results were staggering, as our friends and relatives routinely referred to our home as 'the resort'.

We continue to return every year for ideas on refreshing the yard, and always find plants and materials of the highest quality.

Picked up soil and had cords of wood delivered, the staff was knowledgeable and I really appreciated their insight and guidance!
The products were exactly what we needed and quality was great.

My father and I bought 1 cord of wood each from this place at the end of august. Called the store and was Promised it was dry. When we got to the store I asked again, and the response was “ all I have is dry wood”. The wood was horrible. Wet wood that hardly burns. Not impressed. Not buying from them again. Not at their price.

They have affordable prices great product however the operator could be rude and intolerable towards questions and if you’re trying to make an order over the phone and keeps on mentioning: I’m gonna have to call you back, when we came there at first to check their inventory there were nice gorgeous young women who made sure we were satisfied with our choice of pavement so don’t try to place an order over the phone; really make the purchase directly in the store this is heads up from my experience as a buyer.

Another thing to add that delivery is top notch on time although a bit expensive 275 for three docks of stones and borders.

Nothing has prices on it. There is a person who is very rude and when we ordered some stones he just calculated and he gave us the total price “not by details” we gave him size of stairs and he calculated by feet and gave us some stone and he mentioned that “you can bring some leftover” and we trusted him. After finishing we discovered that he calculated wrong and when we returned some of the stones he behaved us very bad and he said not returning.
Comparing the price this store is very expensive and if I bought from another place could be half price. I don’t recommend it to anyone else. Check the price first.

Great place to shop for anything related to gardening and landscaping. Prices and selection are good and the staff is friendly, honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and they take the time to explain how to do things properly.

Ordered some materials for our backyard, which were paid for by credit card. One month later, nothing has been delivered and I can't get a straight answer on when I will get what I paid for. Shop elsewhere for any big purchase unless you enjoy getting the run around.

Always a quick and easy trip with these guys. Been coming here for years as a local west islander, very informative staff willing to share their knowledge. Still fully stocked on perennials, sod and cedars.

Stones ordered never come on time and sometimes when they arrive they are of the wrong type. When we call for deliveries the reply is “nothing is for sure in our store”.

Edit (downgraded to 1 star as i see how they do business now) : I just got a call from this merchant SHOUTING AT ME AND THREATENING me to remove my review and saying "remove the review or you and i are going to have a problem", "do you have nothing better in life than writing reviews" while the stones committed to be delivered last week are still not delivered and contractors are waiting. As a customer i have the right be dissatisfied of a service or a product!

I suggest you shop around.
I've contacted Pep des Sources many times in the past for quotes for: 3/4" gravel, 0-3/4" gravel, pea gravel, triple mix top soil, regular topsoil, extra-loam top-soil, wet sand, firewood, etc. I have found their prices to be x1.75 to x4 higher than similar businesses (e.g. Rona Pincourt, West Island Nursery, Le Centre de Jardin Cinquino, etc.). As well as having very high prices they charge delivery starting at $75-120 (regardless of your distance from site - I'm 1.1 km from their lot). I suggest you shop around; you'll be surprised at what you'll find (e.g. I ordered 12 cu/yds of triple mix top soil from Rona for $425 taxes & delivery included; Pep de S.quoted me $950 + delivery + taxes for exactly the same product and quantity).

Awesome people that help and care about concerns of their clients. They are booked solid so it will be hard to hire for landscaping this year. Products they sell are top line and perform their task readily.

Amazing service! The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. They have a wide variety of products and are always so helpful with any questions or inquiries.

Nothing has prices on it.which is both illegal, and very convenient for them when you ask them for the price, and then suddenly it's even more expensive than their already high prices when you get to the cash. They will try to upsell you on things you specifically said you don't want, and act condescending when you refuse. Very expensive and not very professional. There's a reason why these small Mom & Pop stores are disappearing.

I will add that it IS illegal to not post prices or barcodes with scanners that customers can use to check prices. It is even more crooked to quote one price, and then suddenly increase it at the cash. If your business is not ready to be opened to the public because you haven't done your pricing yet.then don't open it? Again, very unprofessional practices.

Do not try to hire this company to do any landscaping work for you, they will simply waste your time as other reviewers have said. I had the exact same experience, where the owner gave me the run-around for literally 6 months while trying to get a quote.

I will never waste my time trying to give this company my money ever again. They clearly don't need it.

A true one stop shop for all landscaping needs, from plants, to landscaping to building materials and patio stones they have it all. A local family run business for years that has grown in the West Island. Helpful and qualified staff to make all your visions and dreams a reality.

Wonderful place to get stuff for the yard. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful workers. Their products work great on Pointe Claire 'soil' (otherwise known as CLAY!) Will be a loyal customer.

I called them 4 times (June, July, September 2018 and April 2019) to get a quote for some work in my backyard. They told me they would call me back and pass by everytime but they never did. I really wanted to hire them because my neighbors dealt with them.

Very disrespectful. Not reliable.

The prices change on daily basis. One qubic yard of top soil cost 31$ one day 34 $ two days later. Delivery didn't take place on specified day, when called surprised, blamed the weather. Not a good service at all.
