Permanent Hair Removal Center

My personal experience was absolutely horrible. They struggled immensely to remove a piece of wax that they placed and made excuses saying I was too sweaty, my hairs were too short, too this, too that. It was more painful than necessary and left sticky wax EVERYWHERE. Least to say they offered me a tiny discount and a gram of cream but I'm never going back!

Excellent service. Lisa, the owner, is a star. She is very dedicated to doing as perfect a job as possible. Highly recommended as an electrolysis clinic. Conveniently located in the Rockland shopping mall.

I tried the chocolate waxing and I could say that reduces the pain by probably 60%!

I went there 6-7 times for electrolysis. I don't want to comment on the effectiveness because I believe it is not enough to see the results (but I can confirm my hair got less thick in some spots).

Lisa is amazing and she does a good job. But with Elizabeth, she just tweezes my hair. When I tried to explain to her that I can feel my hair getting tweezed, she insists that it is the correct way to do it. After when I consulted Lisa, she also confirmed that it is not the correct way. Rosana does a good job, but my face always ended up bleeding after her sessions.

Additionally, almost all my appointments got rescheduled even though I set the date two weeks prior. I always got a feeling that they don't take me seriously.

The biggest red flag is the price. With Elizabeth, she tweezes all your hair in 20 mins - it is 140$. With Rosana, she only manages to complete half of your face in an hour - it is $140. If you have less hair than the other sessions - it is still $140. The whole thing feels like a scam because of this difference. I am sure you will find another place that is less expensive and shows you more respect.

I have always received excellent service. The estheticians, Elizabeth, Lisa and Rosana are all extremely competent, professional and attentive. Top notch, in my opinion.

Elizabeth is fantastic! I have super sensitive skin and she is very gentle and I never leave with any kinds of scars or bruising (which I’ve experienced with other electrolysis technicians)! She is very precise, efficient, and accommodating when it comes to needing to change appointment times/dates! Definitely recommend her!

I've been going there for a bit less than a year for electrolysis. I enjoyed the experience as the staff did their best to fit me in according to my own schedule and they were all very friendly! They did a good job on explaining the process and to inform me of what had to be done in order to really get my money's worth. Great place overall and I'm very satisfied with the service I've had!

Lisa and her team deliver on their promise to give results when it comes to hair removal. I couldn’t have wished to receive a better service that was more professional and courteous than other aestheticians I’ve been to in the past. Overcharged to be practicing the closet of a hair salon. Ive been to bigger and better locations that were/are less costly. Also the staff at the hair salon never greeted me nicely (maybe because I'm black, maybe because I'm in young, I still don't know but out of 10 times not even 1 polite HELLO. They just carry on their regular conversations and barely look my way (and when they look its with the expression "are you in the right place? ". I tried to love it but really save your time and money.

Never ever going there again. I have been ripped off. I had few hair on my chin. I have been going there every 2-3 weeks since july and the hair is still spicky and comes back. Plus, i paid around 70$ per shot when somewhere else its 25$/15 min! Dont go there. Its either incompetency or a scam. I’m done.

Highly recommend for IPL. Elizabeth is fast, efficient, careful and kind. Lisa, the owner, is considerate and accommodating. I'm very happy with the results.

I had been searching for a place that offered electrolysis treatments for a while. I fell upon Lisa's services one night while researching various options & contacted her for information. First sign of a 5 star: She immediately contacted me back. She then spent over 20 minutes with me on the phone, patiently explaining & answering all my questions. She was thorough, patient & understanding & felt no pressure to decide right away. Upon hanging up the phone my decision was made & I can say with 100% assurance that my original feeling was right. It is especially difficult today to receive the caliber of service Lisa provides. She exemplifies the meaning of client service & satisfaction & reminds you of what truly caring about your clients is. My 1st session was with her & the impression I'd had on the phone was solidified in person. Her expertise is only surpassed by her professionalism & genuine caring for her clients. My later sessions were with 2 other lovely ladies. Roseanna who's become my regular technician, is in keeping with Lisa's professionalism & expertise. She is kind, flexible & makes you feel comfortable & at ease. She takes care of you, has a sure hand & is meticulous in her attention to detail & perfection. She makes sure you leave completely satisfied. It makes sense that Lisa chose her to work with ger as she emulates her standards perfectly. More over, she's an absolute sweetheart of a person. Absolutely amazing! I DEFINITELY recommend! The owner, Lisa is so professional and friendly and was able to accommodate me at the last minute. I was booked with Rosana for electrolysis and was incredibly happy with the results. My first appointment was life altering! Professional, efficient and meticulous Rosana is simply the best! For those worried about Covid, all safety measures are carefully adhered to and enforced. Their customer service is exceptional as noted in previous reviews. I won’t go anywhere else!

I went here a couple of months ago for the first time. I had an appointment for a consultation at 4: 30pm and waited 30 minutes to see the esthetician. Neither did the secretary nor the esthetician apologize for making me wait. Once I saw the esthetician I felt like she wasn't listening to my questions properly and was even texting while I was talking to her which I found super unprofessional.

I came to this center after being unsatisfied with the results of the IPL laser treatments I received at another clinic. Lisa and her staff were very attentive to my needs and I am now very satisfied with my laser removal results. Very professional and always on time for appointments.
