Petit Poisson Dumpling

I ordered a pick up of soup dumplings and edamame. First of all the lady didn’t even put any utensils and I realized when it was too late. Secondly, the food was absolutely disgusting. Very disappointing! You’re telling me I paid $18 for this? The edamame wasn’t cooked well and it was close to be being raw. I am a big soup dumplings fan and I was expecting the food to be good but totally disappointed. It has to be the worst soup dumplings I’ve ever had!

This turned out to be a great choice for us to try some Montreal dumplings. We had edamame, chicken soup and lamb dumplings. All were delicious, except we overordered for two. Service was very friendly. They kindly sent us home with leftovers that we enjoyed just as much.

The staff was exceptionally polite, nice, and friendly! The food was not only delicious but also served promptly. The lunch specials are a steal; I was so full. The xiao long baos were generously sized, and I also really enjoyed the tofu salad. The restaurant vibe is great, and the overall cleanliness was good too.

The skin of the xiaolongbao is so thick and the filling inside is so sweet. I really couldn’t stand it. After ordering it, I sat there and waited for more than an hour. It was so unacceptable to eat such a thing. I might as well eat somewhere else and finish it off. There was water on all tables, but there was nothing on our table. The tabletop was cleaner than my wallet. I asked why it hadn’t been served yet, but it was, I don’t know. This way of handling it is really disappointing.

Wouldn’t know what the food tastes like. After 2+ hours of delays and lying through the Uber app, we had to cancel our order.

I found these dumplings ordinary. Not terrible but I have add way better dumplings in other places in town.
I was curious to try as it is closer to home for me. The service was very sweet and the small restaurant is cute.
They are quite busy too so the food is fresh. Just not something I’ll be craving like the other places I know. ;)

Took takeout on a Friday night. This establishment is criminally understaffed, I felt so bad for the one girl running the floor, tables, and taking takeout orders.

Took 35 min to get my food. Was not packaged with any condiments, which are so key for dumplings… overall it was decent. Difficult to judge without any vinegar or what else, but probably the only place for XLB in the area.

We went there with my boyfriend and he got severely intoxicated at night. He ordered beef dumplings and they were not fresh.

Simple formula. Choose your dumplings. Choose also how you want them cooked. Steamed or fried. Choose your appetizer and choose your beverage. Very good food however the lamb dumplings weren’t a success in my opinion. I’ll try something else next time.

One of the few asian restaurants where it’s just pleasant to be inside. The food was super top level as well! We were really surprised that the spot has 4.1 ranking — fixing that! ;)

I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 4 years and my opinion has never changed. This is hands down the best dumpling spot in Montreal.

Food is crazy good. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The staff has always been extremely sweet and attentive. It's definitely a must visit spot if you are in the area!

Dumplings were packed with delicious filling. The staff makes the dumplings fresh. Bathroom is a bit dingy. But lovely meal.

I've eaten tons of soup dumplings in Montreal, and these were among the best! They had a little less soup in them than other places, but had lots of filling and were incredibly rich & flavorful. The fried dumplings were also lovely. The pork & corriander dumplings were the best - such a rich broth, super fresh corriander, and lots of meat.

The restaurant itself was very cozy - a sunken space with lots of modern art, not too loud or too crowded. The staff was very kind, and the price was fair. I'd happily go back!

Les plats et les quantités sont bons (nous avons testé les dumplings à la soupe et frits), mais on nous a servi les desserts avant les plats.

One of the most underrated dumpling places ive ever been to. Its affordable, tasty, has a wide selection, and the staff/service is very nice and fast:) looking forward to coming back-

Ravioleria that is a certainty. Fairly quick service even if they clearly need at least one other person in the room. The dumplings are all very good and the dishes are meant to be shared. A note of merit for those filled with broth.

Cozy atmosphere perfect for a date night on a rainy night. The soup dumplings were incredible! So much flavor and the staff was so kind.
