The pharmacy staff (aka those who you speak to at the counter) are very kind, no bad things to say about them, but i don’t think i have ever had an rx filled on time.how can you be so backed up literally 24/7? Also please for the love of god fix your parking lot.the foot deep pot holes are a lawsuit waiting to happen

Can I give -10 stars?

Worst possible service with this pharmacy! I have been trying to call all day for my baby's medication! I was hung up on twice after being on hold for over 15 minutes. I have now been on hold for 35 minutes. All of this just to find out if they even received my son's prescription. This is not the first time I've had this happen to me with this pharmacy. That's besides the fact that everyone is so rude behind the counter. I've had one kind person answer me months ago and he was the person to tell me my pediatrician had dropped us. Besides that it's always a hassle trying to get any information and then they get mad when you call saying you should have gone online. Well we can't exactly go online if it's not put into the system yet. This prescription was sent yesterday and they still haven't called or anything. This is unacceptable. Oh and I just got hung up on once again. Time to call again.

I will definitely be changing pharmacies this is not ok!
11 May 2023 10:02
Incredibly rude pharmacy staff every time I go. I went to pick up a medication too soon after ordering it by phone. I was told not once, but FOUR times by employees that I was too early. They also got upset with me for using the phone service to order a medication instead of doing it online. Why is the phone service offered then? Like, am I bad person for calling it in? I didn't know? I get that I should have gone later in the day, but I didn't need three separate employees to bully me. I also told them multiple times that I understand they're busy and that I came too early and that I had no issues waiting as long as they needed. One employee was nice and tried to explain to me that it helps them to order more in advance, I don't mind receiving that feedback at all. BUT It was the pharmacists making passive aggressive comments at me from the back that ''it was supposed to be at noon'' and rolling their eyes right in front of me. Some clients are sick, some have mental health issues, they don't need the extra stress. I work in customer service at a busy job too, I would never treat a client that was unaware of their mistake so rudely. It's incredibly unprofessional.
10 May 2023 11:57
Should be ZERO stars.
The worst customer service ever.
From the cashier to the so called rude manager or assistant manager that was on duty.
This is a store that doesn't care about the customers at all.
Whatever happened to treating a customer with respect and a smile
30 April 2023 19:09
Geez I didn't know this place was so horrible! I should have read the reviews before buying a fan there. What I don't understand is that if their electronics return policy is so "final", why they keep offering them? They should not continue to sell electronics. I bought a fan at the self service cash so NO final sale stamp was put on my receipt nor I knew when I had problems with the fan that I couldn't return it, exchange it, or even get store credit. If I knew that the sale was final for electronics I wouldn't have taken the risk.
I will walk a little further and try another pharmacy for the rest of my needs. Probably they couldn't care less about the customers like me that write all this stuff but potential customers will care.
28 January 2023 2:27
DO NOT buy any electronics from there. You can’t return the product even if it’s never been used. Once you have paid, they stamp your receipt with « Final Sale » and that’s when you find out that your can’t get a credit or a refund if you change your mind. I called back to ask why they can’t refund and the response was delivered to me in the rudest of manner.
NO return policy and most importantly EXTRA RUDE SERVICE!

BTW, All the other Pharmaprix do offer a 30-day refund if the product was not used.
21 December 2022 22:20
Lack of professionalism and if you call 10 min begore closing, nobody answers the phone, it just keeps ringing and at 10 an recording says the storevis now closed.
Alao always verify your meds, I was given once double the dosage on my blood pressure medication.
We should have a choice of 0 stars
22 November 2022 2:18
Every time I come here they don't have what I need. The problem is exclusively with the pharmacy.
24 August 2022 17:12
They tried to give me some medication that expires in just a few months. When I pointed it out, they said it's okay we're allowed to do that. Wrong answer. So I fill my prescriptions elsewhere now.
30 July 2022 2:36
I wish I could give them 0 stars! The worst pharmacy ever! Every time I had a prescription there had a problem with the amount of factors compared to other pharmacy or jean coutu and also staff behavior, took me 27$ just for counselling for one simple antibiotic which was less than 14$! And didn’t accept to return it Immediately after the payment, Never go again!
14 June 2022 3:38
Worst customer service, especially the pharmacist assistant who works the last shift. She confronted and refused to let me came in and see the pharmacist even I came in 15 minutes before closing (9: 45pm). Avoid at all cost. What a shame!
21 May 2022 22:02
Worst pharmacy in NDG. There are a couple good things pharmacists there but most of them are rude and dismissive. The disorganization behind the counter will drive you insane.

When are waiting at the counter the staff rarely will take a second to say “I’ll be with you in a minute” before they make you wait for 5 to 10 minutes in an empty pharmacy.

The experience this morning was the last straw. Moving my files to another pharmacy. The convenient location does not compensate for the chaos within any longer.
23 February 2022 2:28
Today I was in Pharmaprix
I gave my prescription to the pharmacist then he read it and he said it will be ready in 20 minutes after one hour and a half I asked staff of Pharmacy what happened to my medication and she asked my phone number again and she went behind the preparation desk of medicine then she came back and said it will be ready soon again after 30 minutes I asked where is my medication and the other pharmacy staff said which medication and she asked again my name and number then she said sorry I can’t find your prescription and when I explained who took my prescription she said oh sorry my manager took your prescription and she is on meeting now and after 10 minutes another staff of pharmacy came and said we don’t have this medication at the moment
12 December 2021 23:16
There was an impolite staff at the counter of the pharmacy. I could n't communicate well because I am a newcomer but I was ridiculed by her and she should be very ashamed of her behavior. In addition other staffs talked about my questions and laughed at me. My last time going to this branch. I don't know if other branches of pharmaprix are the same but for me, it matters going farther to the Jean couto by bus rather than here that is close to me. This was the third time I took my medicine from them and never I get good service. I've never seen such behavior in Montreal.

Customers are now being bullied into using self service points of sale unless they pay with cash, as I witnessed, and experienced at noon on Sunday. Elderly people, people with disabilities, it makes no difference, apparently. Loblaw has forgotten that PharmaPrix is a pharmacy - a place to receive medical advice and purchase medicine.
31 August 2021 17:19
The pharmacy is understaffed. The owner do not care about it. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. What a shame.
26 August 2021 16:48
After Covid-19
The expired price tags that are often left on shelves set you up for disappointment IMO. Added $2 donation without waiting for my permission, when removing unwanted item.

Really glad I didn't leave my prescription at this location.

Best improvement is 4 self serve machines. Customer appreciation seems lower than before so I rated this store 1 and much prefer the Westmount location where they clean sellf-serve machines after every use in plain view and most of the time expired sales tags are not left on shelf the way they do in this store. Also it sesms that staff are allowed to be ruder at this store. The clerk seems to only partially help with self serve so product I paid for to replace one that sale price had been expired wasn't debeeped & beeped at door while clerk was in back room, making shopping there even more unpleasant & time consuming that it already was. Feels like you are being watched more intently than actually being served there.

Regular prices seem high on many products except eggs & milk. It would be better if prices didn't appear to be inflated and only affordable when on sale. I would call the dollar store much more convenient. In dollar stores, prices stay more consistent and predictable. In dollar stores, no messing around with points and expired sale price tags sometimes left on shelf where a person over 40 might have trouble seeing expiration date.

Would go long way to say how can I help you instead of asking what do you want while sneering on word 'want'. Solving a problem without creating new problem, would go a long way too.

Often left hand is acting like it doesn't know what right hand is doing. Sometimes they get sizes of products and sales mixed up and one staffer on the phone will say bring it back and you can return it for the right sized product for the sale price, then when you get there another clerk will start arguing that product you brought back was on sale & embarrassing you as if you were too stupid to know that product you bought back was wrong size so it wasn't on sale, which is why you brought the product back in the first place, while he is breaking 2 metre rule without much concern for risk and was not standing behind plexiglass during this pandemic. Very quick to take off points but didn't ask for my card so I could get points on substitute product. The other clerk practically threw my change at me while 1st clerk spoke Quebecois to him about something (though the first clerk asked me to open bag so he could take my returns without me touching them) he said to save time again without concern of risk to customer, even though I used card for safety reasons to avoid handling money which could be contaminated since no one seems to be sanitizing money before it goes in the til, and I didn't expect them to.

Seems prejudicial treatment for some and preferential treatment for others, IMO.

I go to Jean Coutu for prescriptions because there is less drama there and service is faster and more consistent and courteous and helpful.

This last experience was the worst I have had in a store for a long time and was unnecessary, IMO.

Two staff at this location had Covid-19 in March 2020, was in news. We should have right to expect distance and common sense from them the way they ask it from us and to act fairly towards us.

Before Covid-19
The clerk wanted to stuff all purchases in one bag and she kept interrupting me when I was asking for a double bag. She said the bag was't going to break. When I left I heard her say "one of those”. The store has good deals at times; I like their point system, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one. Caution is needed in checking receipts for errors before leaving. Sometimes a good deal is advertised in one place but the wrong product is placed where you expect the deal to be. Sometimes the clerk doesn't wait for the price to change from regular to sale price before he tells you what the bill is. Just like Provigo, errors take up your time.
15 August 2021 6:59
Had to pick up anti nausea meds multiple times, an emergency phoned in by my oncologist, multiple times they didn't have them ready despite the severity of the situation, despite being told they needed to be delivered because of my mobility. I have no idea who runs the pharmacy, but they do a terrible job. Insensitive, incompetent, indifferent. There's another chemist down the street that couldn't be nearly as awful. They set a new standard of low here. Bring your business somewhere else.
05 August 2021 5:55
One and half hour to see the pharmacist. Nothing was really said after. Lost of time. No respect to the lineup and they choose to serve based on their own preferences. I would not recommend anyone this place unless if you want to lose your time.
25 July 2021 8:52
Yesterday afternoon I went there to buy a fan as hot weather is coming. I was told that (as is the case with all electronics) it was final sale so if when I brought it home it didn't work I would have to deal with the company. I don't know of ANY other stores that don't let you bring an item back for exchange or refund when something is broken right when you buy it. Congrats Pharmaprix you've lost a long-time customer.
21 July 2021 13:38
They lied to me that Sunlife rejected the claim and charged me full amount only to find out later by contacting Sunlife that they got paid the claimed amount. I had to call this pharmacy multiple times only to be hung off after long waits. After almost two hours trying, I finally got reimbursed of the difference. This pharmacy acknowledged that they do this kind of mistakes often. They seriously need to find ways to reduce such mistakes. What if I didn't contact Sunlife because the amount was negligible?
Conclusion: This pharmacy confirmed that they constantly and systematically charging more to clients by telling that insurance claim got rejected when it was in fact went through.
07 July 2021 0:42
You really shouldn't be using 3 ml syringes to administer 0.5 ml doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Stop being stingy, buy 1 ml syringes!
03 April 2021 16:42
The worst store ever.poor management.rude management staff.unprofessional work. Loblaw Corp.should be shutting down this place
29 March 2021 21:30
22 March 2021 15:05
This pharmacy is very slow it took them 7 hrs to fill a prescription that was sent in at 11.30am had to call at least three times to make sure it was filled ridiculous then when I get there it still was not ready
20 March 2021 9:31
Having had several medical issues/hospitilizations, including being hit by a van just outside, must say overall have received for over 2 decades great advice from pharmacists. Staff, as overworked as they are esp during these challenging times, are very patient, understanding & always make themselves available to our needs
22 February 2021 20:51
I will NOT share the details of my private experience with my local Pharmaprix across the Web, except to say that they are generally good! I want to write privately to Pharmaprix and ONLY privately, thank you!
12 October 2020 19:30
02 August 2020 3:23
They dont answer their phone.they make you wait 10 mins just to refill a prescription at the counter and if you do go to pick up your meds after you call them in, they ignore you and make you wait another 10 mins. Its like the pharmacists avoid the customers as long as they can. The cashiers up front however are always kind and friendly.
27 July 2020 14:41
This Pharmaprix enforces illogical rules and employees make blatant lies. At the entrance, you're told you're not allowed wearing gloves, and not to worry because "everything has been disinfected". They absolutely do not have the right to tell anyone what they can and cannot wear; at most they can discourage the wearing of gloves. Also, saying everything has been disinfected is a lie as disinfecting every product routinely is an impossible task.
19 July 2020 6:57
The pharmacist are not compassionate have no understanding dont have any knowledge of what they are doing at all pharmaprix use to be nice back in the day now i dont know where they find these people working there smdh
08 May 2020 1:44
Pharmacy Service is horrible, even phone service is ignored, counter service is horrid with 1hr waiting. Mixed protocol at pharmacist counter allowing customers who don't need prescriptions to use at as an express line when front of store has a line.
24 April 2020 9:03
The manager is a great man. A lot of good price but i don't like the new make-up add-oni think they should look up to be more like the Pharmaprix on St-Lanrent street downtown, family oriented and a lot of food shelves.
20 April 2020 23:28
I called and asked them if they do a blood sugar test. They said come tomorrow morning. Next day they simply said our nurse is out for a week, we can do it but we won't as we're busy. Lack of coordination between staff, poor customer experience and careless behavior.
22 March 2020 18:29
Worst service I have ever had went there on Wednesday at 1 pm and I waited an hour and a half to get a single prescription. It is ridiculous how hard it can be to put pills in a bottle. It was a new prescription and I didn't even up talking to the pharmacists since he seemed so busy doing nothing. I get that they can get a lot of orders but they should give you a time estimate at least. I could have gone home and came back at a later time instead of wasting an hour and half of my work time on these unorganized individuals. Seriously so annoyed. The worst is that the poor person who passes you at the end is very sweet and needs to deal with the rude customers due to her colleagues being slow.

Went to get fever meds for my 4 years old who was really sick on a sunday evening, and had to leave my crying baby with my neighbors as i am a single mom and it was cold out. Once at the pharmacy, i asked to speak to the pharmacist, who was Ann Labrecque, the lady owner i suppose! The place was almost empty. The apprentice pharmacist told me the pharmist will see me in few, i advised i couldn't wait long as my baby was with neighbors and had a huge fever. Ended up waiting 25 minutes and didn't even see the pharmacist who, while i was waiting, was able to go to the cashier and serve people who wanted to pay but didn't take 1 minute to come and see what was my urgent question regarding a sick 4 years old, i mean, i was just looking for an advise, needed 2 minutes max of her time.so I ended up taking whatever meds i found over the counter, paid for it and left. The sad part is that this is not the first time it happens, i understand they are busy and the job requires them to focus but if she can attend to customers paying she could attend to costumers who has a question. Anyway, lesson learned, i guess i will be bringing my business elsewhere next time.
20 February 2020 21:12
Service super lent.
J ai commandé mes gouttes pour les yeux et il me a fallu 2 heures de attente. En plus il a fallu que je les relance
09 February 2020 10:29
Provigo across from Pharmaprix fired the 50-60 year old lady cashier with short blond hair and glasses from provigo because she is extremely rude to the customers. And now Pharmaprix hired her instead. She has to find work where she doesn't have to deal with people.
21 January 2020 1:27
Too busy, never able to be patched through when trying to reach pharmacist or technician to obtain clinical information.
12 January 2020 17:08
I think the person in charge is very nice, some of the staff are polite but i must agree with others the services and the lack of smiling faces are not what you would expect from this huge brand name.
06 January 2020 13:04
Jean told me not to forget to vote for him, pleasant experience refilling my opus with jean.
While I'm here, I've been coming to this store since before I can remember. Overall its typically been a pleasant experience. The lines sometimes get long and it seems like they are training someone new every week, nevertheless. I plan on continuing my business there.
26 December 2019 5:01
Literally the slowest service ever here. I watched my prescription from start to end and for 15 minutes I saw the lab techs chatting, ignoring customers and prescriptions. I’ve worked at pharmacies before and this is unacceptable, you’re dealing with sick people who just want to get their medication and go home. It took over 30 minutes for a simple prescription that could be filled in 5 minutes MAX.
25 December 2019 16:30
Extremely disappointed in the customer service at the pharmacy, stuck waiting approximately 1/2 hr for an OTC medication, while a loud conversation took place nearby.

Staff ignored the disturbance and eventually just stopped making eye contact with me and the 5 other people waiting in line, ignoring our increasing frustration and making no effort to keep patients up to date on the progression of things.
23 December 2019 9:57
Terrible service every time I come here. I was told I was going to get a call when they receive my prescription and my clinic had already told me they had faxed it. I waited 24h and called again and they had the prescription in my file but had not called me. I then asked for them to prepare it (and asked for the generic version of my medication), they told me it would take one hour. I go to the pharmacy an hour later and they had prepared the original version of the meds even though I had asked for the generic.
02 December 2019 0:13
Absolutely ridiculous. I use the online system to pre-order my prescription, about half the time it works. The other half they decide not to fill it, even if I show up hours after the time the system tells me to show up. What is the point of using it if they don't actually follow it. On top of this, staff is rude and disrespectful.
08 November 2019 8:56
Biggest and best pharmacy in NDG. Good late hours. Centrally located along several major bus routes, and close to 2 Bixi Stations. Decent sized parking lot.

There's a Canada Post kiosk in here but its hours are shorter than the Pharmaprix in general.

I keep my prescriptions through the pharmacy here because of the central location, hours, and friendliness and competence of the pharmacy staff. Don't be a muppet: sign up for MonDossierPharma.ca and have your refills readied through the website - it lowers your wait time from 10-15 minutes, to 2-3 minutes.
03 July 2019 10:28
Unfortunate service & assistance from the manager to exchange a product. Claimed that seasonal products are final-sale (when nothing was mentioned when purchased or on receipt, or even on their website), and we could not even exchange it the very next day for something in the same category. Very unfortunate, won't be going back for any futur purchases.
01 July 2019 23:06
