Went in last night for a drink and was waiting to be seated. No serving staff came to seat us or tell us that they were unable to accommodate us. No bartender present so couldn’t ask for any further information.

Très moyen, propreté et repas assez nulle pas d'eau chaude au toilette. Le dressing coded est vraiment laissez aller. Barman font de leur mieux.

Went with a friend last night. Julien was making the food and also brought it to us whilst also giving a description of what we were having. Very professional and attentive to our needs. He gave SUPERBE SERVICE

Came around 9.30, the place was not crowded, there were many free tables and yet service was VERY slow and they had like 5/6 employees and I could clearly see them just talking together. Had to wait more than 30 mins for a drink. Had to order twice. We asked for food but they said the kitchen was closed even if it says it closes at 11pm on their website. The drinks were good. Around 12pm it got fuller. The music was OK. Some really good songs, but the transition between the songs was not good and the jump from one style to another was done too often so it was hard to get in the groove. The space for dancing is very tight. There is always people passing and it is annoying. Will not be coming back.

C'est un bon endroit pour passer un bon moment. Rien d'extraordinaire. Je ne connais pas la nourriture sur le site, donc je ne peux pas commenter. Le service est moche, ils ont 0 contact visuel, ils ne se soucient pas de vous servir...
Une fois, j'ai passé près de 15 minutes pour avoir l'attention d'elle et j'ai vu la bartender sur son téléphone. à part le fait qu'elle utilisait une cigarette électronique pendant que j'attendais.
Le personnel s'habille comme s'il travaillait en pyjama. Il n'y a qu'une seule fille qui travail super bien, je ne connais pas son nom.

Bonjour, le lieu est sympa. En revanche, le service est déplorable (lent, commandes erronés et désagréables). Je ne recommande pas.

We were a large group arrived around 10: 30. At first we were a bit sad we didn’t have enough tables for the amount of people we requested but our assigned waitress, Emily, made up for any faults with this place. At a nightclub you go in expecting poor service but she went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing night. She came to check on us so often and brought everything we asked for so quickly. I had so much fun but it was mostly because of her. The music is also amazing, bangers after bangers. The bathrooms had no toilet paper which was a small annoyance. Overall 10/10 just because of Emily and the bottle prices which were super reasonable for Montreal standards (we paid ~260+tip per bottle of grey goose). I would 100% recommend this place which is saying a lot because I generally prefer bars over clubs.

Although I am really picky when it comes to drinks, this place made the best drinks I have ever tasted. Not only do they taste good, but you can’t even tell they contain alcohol! And I have gotten really drunk off of just 2 drinks every time (I’m a lightweight). I honestly trust them to make any drink, I just say which flavour I like and they get it perfectly every time! The setting is nice too, I like its location because it is in Old Port.

Had a reservation at 8: 30 pm for seated table, we get there and apparently table was not available, they had availability only at the bar.
We ask for food menu, then ask the waiter to order some food. Waiter goes oh sorry we don’t have food kitchen is closing! Kitchen closing at 8: 30 pm? , meanwhile he’s serving food for other tables. It’s just a very unorganized bar/restaurant. We had to leave. Used to be a good place but unfortunately not anymore.

Garbage place that doesn't care about reservations or anyone on the guest list. Bouncer tells the people waiting outside that they're at "maximum capacity" then proceeds to let in 50 of his friends. Don't come here.

Women's bathroom has 3 stalls, 2 had no lighting and urine all over the toilet and floor. Fly traps hanging from ceiling and smelled horrible. The bar is weirdly decorated and they advertise specialty drinks but didn't have the main alcohol available. Over priced and not worth it.

Great music great spot great crowd! Excellent service! Would strongly recommend for an outing!

Unskilled and slow barmaids. Have 0 knowledge how to make good drinks. Don't try to order anything too complex or you will throw them into a loop. Truly disappointing considering the fact that they had skilled mixologists back in the day.

I love the ambiance, the foreboding entrance, with a smoky passage to what seems like an exotic set of vieux Montreal loft apartments blended onto a Mediterranean back passage of Cassablanca or Ortigia. See you on the smoky dead end! Or is it a beginning!?

The atmosphere has switched so much over the years! Only bumping place in the port - food is great if you love pasta, turns into a club feel after midnight. Need a reservation to get in on weekends so plan accordingly. Drinks are cheap and it’s a mix of 20-something-year-olds with an older crowd. Now serving bottles of liquor too

Great vibe and good selection of drinks. Their food menu is limited, but the cheese and charcuterie platters were great!

Very slow service, took 20 minutes to get a waiters attention. Quite disappointing for such a beautiful place. Will definitely not return.

Philemon bar is in Old Port, where parking is terrible but it's a nice neighborhood for Montreal sight seeing. The bar is small and simple inside. You can order drinks and food as well, but don't go there hungry because food is very ordinary and they only have pasta. They look good, but the taste is plain. Music was okay and staff was nice. Wouldn't go back as you can try so many other bars in Old Port that are much better.
