Great Pho restaurant. It's quiet and spacious, the lighting looks a bit like a cafeteria, but the food and service is great. They offer tea before your meal which is awesome.
It's also clean.
I would recommend this restaurant if you want Pho over the two others that are in the same area.
One downside though, they don't take credit cards. Debit and cash only.

Nourriture absolument incroyable.j'ai pris la crêpe vietnamienne, le monsieur m'a expliqué comment la manger (il y a une technique!:). C'était tellement bon. Plein de menthe et de légumes, la crêpe en soi était succulente.service en français, personnel très accueillant et sympathique. C'est certain que j'y retourne pour essayer les autres plats!

Food: it was pho, it was like others, a lot of msg and that, nothing spectacular, but the quantity is not enough for the pricing

Excellent restaurant! On a marché longtemps dans les rues de Montréal un samedi soir très pluvieux pour se rendre à ce resto avec mon ami vietnamien, qui a certifié la qualité des plats. On avait envie de cette cuisine et nous avons été servis! D'ailleurs, le service est attentionné et pragmatique. Soupe tonkinoise savoureuse et réconfortante! Je ne me souviens plus des noms exacts de mes plats (vous m'excuserai, mon vietnamien est exécrable) mais j'ai oour ma part pris une soupe piquante au boeuf, ainsi qu'une assiette de morceaux de porc marinés servi avec riz et salade. À part la salade, qui était ordinaire, c'était vraiment exquis. Decor rudimentaire, ambiance basique.

Resto à essayer!

As a Vietnamese new to the city, I was craving some comfort food, and this place hit the spot! It's the typical Vietnamese restaurant where the place is not really decorated, but the food is yummy!

We ended up here because we didn't want to wait in line for the place across the street. I knew we made the right choice when I noticed I was the only non-Asian person there. The soups were amazing and I enjoyed them more than the noodle place we went to the next day.

Indiscutablement, c'est une place pour savourer des plats asiatiques bien délicieux, acompagnés d'un bon service aux clients et très rapide. Toutefois les décor a besoin d'une retouche. Mais je recommande vivement aux visiteurs de venir manger dans ce resto.

Good pho, our papaya salad had tasty bacon and really not very tasty shrimps. The ambience is windowless with florescent lighting. Cash only! Service very friendly.

Reading the review of this restaurant just do not make sense. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and this is the exact kind of hole in a wall place where you need to discover it by yourself. Any Americans who cannot phantom the 1: 1 exchange rate can promptly make change at the nearest exchange place. There’s 1 real veg option and it’s good enough for me. The veg broth (need to ask) has good taste and the veg inside were fresh. Cannot comment on other food but will come back when in need of a good Pho.

Restaurant cheats the currency 1: 1 between CAD and USD. And clerk requested amount of tip when he treated us very unfriendly.

Food was below par. We were tourists from the US so beware they do not accept any credit cards nor US debit cards. The server did not know how to convert US dollars to Canadian. Service overall not good-they do not provide plates nor water. The jasmine tea completely watered down. My first experience eating in Montreal and not a pleasant one.

Great food, I eat a ton of pho and this is one of my top 3. Superb broth and not because they used salt to get there, they just made it right!

Don't know about other dishes, but I got banh canh cua which is a disappointment for me. The broth was just tomato broth, no shrimp, just a few of small crab cakes, I assumed.

Basement, kind of dark and minimal. Soup was ok. Can be hotter when It came out. I had much better food just couple steps away.

Je suis allée chercher des soupes pour emporter et on m'a servi un petit thé pour le temps d'attente. Les soupes étaient parfaites et le thé fût un excellent petit plus qui a fait la différence. Tonkinoise au boeuf saignant.

Pho Bo and Bun Bo Hue were out of this world. The broth was intense but balanced and the noodles had just enough bite. It's not a fancy place but eating here was somewhat of a religious experience. Highly recommend

I had a really great time at this place, honestly.

It was a huge shock to see a restaurant with traditional Vietnamian meals. My friend took the jelly-fish salad, which definitely was a culinary experience.

The meal are made to be eaten just like in Vietnam, with the waiter even explaining how to eat it, making it feel like a cultural experience at the same time, too.

Everything I ate was great, I just regret playing it safe and only taking a soup compared to my friends. I'm definitely looking forward to going there again, just for the great food and service there.

Foods were pretty good, but the waiter who has a bold hair was very rude. He seems like he doesn't like his job. He threw the chopsticks and was not sanitary during the serve. The owner should train him properly. I don't want to go back due to poor services.

As always this restaurant provides a lovely meal that is authentic and took me back to my time visiting beautiful Vietnam. The staff is always friendly. It's a bit if a drive for me to get there but I feel that it is worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something a bit different but not to far out of your comfort zone.

Only came here because there was no other place open this early. Wow. The food was good and decent prices!

The bun mam at this place blew my mind. It was so delicious I practically cleaned the whole bowl. The restaurant had a lot of authentic Vietnamese dishes that I haven’t come across in awhile. Highly recommended.

Grilled chicken is delicious, pho broth as well. The pho portions are considerably smaller than other restaurants, still worth it

Had the duck and bamboo soup here. Very flavorful with a generous portion of duck. Happy to get away from the crowd on a busy Saturday in Chinatown. Will come agaib

Excellent Vietnamese food at excellent prices (and I spent a month in Vietnam before the Covid lockdown and its as good as anything I had there. Dinners come with a free pot if tea which is nice. Give them a try.

Food tastes amazing and brings back traditional Vietnamese flavors. Portions are enough to satisfy and perhaps you may have leftovers. Service is friendly and quick. Price is amazingly economical for the portions that you get.

Great pho. Other options are great, too. Good service and excellent prices (taxes are included!).

Went to Pho Saigon Vietnam for a quick bite. The service was incredibly warm and friendly. I ordered their famous Pho Dac Biet extra large. The broth was delicious and tasted very authentic. It proved to be great value as there was a lot of meat in the Pho. With great satisfaction, my girlfriend and I both finished the x-large bowls. I’d recommend anyone In Montréal to give this little gem a try!

Very professional servers and pho tastes great. A bit less meat than expected. Too bad they don't accept credit cards.

Serving size was a little smaller, but overall great taste. Has an unique chewiness to the noodles that I really enjoyed compared to most viet places I've been too where the noodles are over-cooked.

Ignore any bad reviews, this is the only pho place I will go to. I have been to several others and they don't even compare. The staff is extremely friendly and even if they weren't it is worth it just for their rare beef pho. I crave it every day and usually go once a week.

Excellent service. Fantastic, authentic Vietnamese food. Big portions too! Highly recommend the “Nem Nướng-Bánh Hỏi” with perfectly grilled meatballs. The rich and smooth iced Vietnamese coffee is a must-try too!

I really highly recoment for you in this restaurant. Every thing is good. Especially the soup. Tonkinoise. It is really better than the soup that i try in pho express, 8523 in the same street Saint Laurent. I will come back.

A fuire Jai eu l'impression de me faire f.et ne rien avoir ressentie La soupe aux grosse nouilles et crabe une grosse farce aux (Porc) pourtant pas inscrit au menu non juste nouilles et crabe mais pas de crabe dans la soupe du porc. Je me plein moi je mange pas de porc. C est pas ce que j ai commander ont me répond nous ont la fait comme ça toi obliger de payer. Tu mange pas mais tu paye (A FUIRE) ALLER CHEZ PHO NEW-YORK a deux pas toujours bon délicieux ont te sert ce que tu commande et JAMAIS autre chose toujours très bon et eux ils respecte les clients les prix sont aussi meilleur c'est toujours toujours plein ça veut surement dire quelques chose a bonne entendeur

Je fus surprise de voir un serveur crier après une femme qui lui disait que le crabe n était pas du porc comme servi dans sa soupe. Dans le menu le porc n était pas nommer mais belle et bien présent dans son plat elle Musulmane elle n aurait pas commander. Ils l ont fait payer en l insultant le respect est loin derrières

Good quality and quantity food! Service is good and price is affordable. They have student discount for 10%. The place is warm and cozy. The only thing I would suggest is they add WiFi to their restaurant.

Best vegetarian pho broth! Very tasty, big portions and only $8 for a big bowl! The service was also really good, they were so prompt, kind and multilingual.

Was skeptical at first by the lack of customers but went in anyway. The pho was delicious and flavorful. Perfect for a cold winter day. Not too crowded which is great. Price are reasonable and I like how they give choice of SML size.

The Bun Bo Hue was really great an quiet authentic (to what I know from Hanoi, not been to Hue), good place for real Vietnamese food
