Stayed in a cottage here, it's fantastic! Parks for the kids, great beach on the river. So many things to do. Or a great place to sit around and do nothing!

We stopped in for lunch on August 10th. The service was great! Our food? It was amazing! My son and husband had the chicken fingers, my daughter had a burger and I had a crispy chicken sandwich with a poutine. The fries are worthy of a chip stand, soo good. We are already talking about going back! Thanks for an awesome lunch date for our family.

Kids had a blast tubing today! So much fun. Hill is a great size for the little ones to be able to walk up on their own!

We took the kids to the sugar shack - it was delicious and so fun! Full brunch with seriously so much food, wagon ride, outdoor fires, maple syrup and taffy demonstrations. We loved it!

A huge thanks to Pine Lodge! We found ourselves in the need of a last minute place to host fifteen people and they came through for us with a nice room and some appetizers that were perfect for a mid-afternoon snack. We really appreciated their hospitality.

This is a wonderful family-owned business I was honoured to support in these challenging times when 'small', 'local' and 'family-owned' are an endangered business species.
Despite a staffing shortage and my bum knee the owners made time to make me comfortable. It was a good experience. I had planned to be on a solo kayaking trip for 5 days when I tore the meniscus in my knee. I needed to get away and managed to book a room last minute at the lovely Pine Lodge.
I cannot speak to the food as I had already dehydrated and prepped most of my food beforehand for my trip. Breakfast came with the room and I was surprised it was a hearty and delicious meat/eggs/home fries combo. My one suggestion would be to include a lighter option, ie: apple or banana with a muffin.
The room was rustic and clean. Cool also despite the heat. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable for this 50+ gal. A shared and very clean bathroom among 3 rooms worked out much better than I would have expected. A chair (of any size) in my room would have made my stay more comfortable. I knew it would be rustic and the price was reasonable. It was a great last minute salvage, but this combined with the stairs and my injury made it challenging.
I was a bit disappointed to realize that beach access meant I had to walk more than I was able. The owners made a point to let me know that they would be happy to drive me to and from the beach in their golf cart. And they did with cheerful and sunny dispositions. I did not feel comfortable to take them away from their work, so I explored and found a few beautiful (public) beaches in the area I could drive up to. I highly recommend Portage du Fort (NOT for little ones d/t fast current).
The Lodge was a major contributor to the community July 1st fireworks which were spectacular. And the owners made sure I did not miss it, insisting to drive me to the beach launch site where I had the BEST seat in the house.
In health this could have been a one-stop holiday for me with plenty of nature, golf, beach, food, & wine. Instead, I got to discover that the area has some cute hidden nuggets as well. I admire their creative solutions to sustaining a hospitality business in these challenging times. Bravo! All the best as you journey forward!

Nous avons été bruncher pour la fête des mères et la nourriture était ultra délicieuse. Le site est enchanteur, le personnel très sympathique. Nous y retournrons assurément

Great place! Adam, his family & staff are super! It's a step back in time: rustic & unique. I've been going & spending the night for over 10 years.

Amazing place for a getaway nice and close to Ottawa. The sandy beach, golf course, dining, and campground vibe are all first class. The owners, staff, and fellow "Pine Lodgers" are all incredibly friendly and helpful.

Was there today snowshoeing and it was great.with the sun shining it wasn't as cold. I would recommend this place for sure.

We had our wedding at Pine Lodge on July 7,2018. We honestly don't have anything negative to say. Jodi and Adam were a pleasure to work with from the beginning. They thought of all the little details for the day and executed everything well. Despite last minute changes with the rehearsal dinner and camping accommodations they still managed to make everything run smoothly. We had a mixup with tables during the reception, but they quickly and seamlessly fixed the problem within 10 minutes. If you are looking for a laid-back, well priced and attentive venue for your wedding, I would highly recommend Pine Lodge.
