Cool club. Nice staff.
Caught a great show there the other night. Its a dive bar but in a great way.
Main floor is a bar, with vlt's and a pool table.
The downstairs is a show bar, very simple.
Same thing upstairs but haven't been.

Kinda weird ambiance but it was okay overall. The turtle in the tank seemed kinda stressed but I'd probably go again anyways.

Abusive bartender, she wouldn't show me the menu and charged for drinks whatever she wanted. I ASKED FOR THE MENU MANY TIMES, and she made excuses. When I checked the bill there were drinks charged more than once, I asked I she would tell me that's how drinks were prepared. In the ticket you can see, I order 2 drinks and look all she billed.

RUN FROM THIS PLACE! It’s not worth it, and they need money, so they will steal at all costs!

I went with my husband to celebrate a new job offer, and everything turned into a terrible experience.
We arrived at the place, and nobody even looked at us in the table, the bartenders were just having fun and talking with the people of the bar.
I reached the bar to minimize the girls effort, and nicely asked for a menu, and one of the girls was super rude, and basically told me “I’m busy having fun here, whenever I feel like working, I’ll go to your table”. I went back to the table with that first bad impression, and waited for her.
She arrived to the table, without the menu that I originally asked for, and asked us which drink we wanted, so we order a regular beer.
After that we wanted to se the menu, to see ALL the options in the bar, and after asking her for the menu, again, she didn’t give it to me.
At the end my husband ordered 2 more drinks and she charged us double for everything, she charged us for serving the drink in a plastic cup, where they serve that drink and she invented all the rest of the charges. We tried to review it with her since it was around 40 dollars for a beer with Clamato (and she just served Clamato with water) and like 2 ounces of bourbon. I have never been treated like that in my entire life.
Please don’t waste your time in this place, you’re just going to lose your time, money, plus you’ll get the worst customer service, they don’t actually care about customers at all!

Good drinks, the bartender even took a personal request and made it great since he didnt have any whiteclaw, 10 out of 10 service and quality. Just dont drink the beer it not so good.

I love this bar. Wish I remembered the names of the two bartenders that were always around, treating us well (Kylie and Julie maybe? Something similar).

During my two week stay in Montreal, I was probably here at least 6 times. Such a unique little bar

Had high hopes but was really disappointed. Only one pool table but over a dozen slot machines. It's less of a bar and more of a dirty casino where they charge you for the drinks! The service was incredibly slow and drink selection was limited. You have a lot of better options nearby. I won't ever go back. Learn from my mistake.

Cool local place. They do have some aquariums under the bar. They could use some cleaning and maintenance. I also did see a turtle and a Piranha. Bartender was friendly. They have all kinds of beer on tap.

Trainwreck of service and weirdos on slot machines. Wonder how this place is still in business.

Come to this bar every time I am in Montreal, whether I am wearing a suit or in ripped jeans. Great beers on tap, good music and interesting folks hanging around.

Nous y avons souvent fait des shows avec mon band Eternal Closure. La salle est de mieux en mieux avec les années, l'alcool est pas cher, le staff est super sympathique. Honnêtement, c'est ma scene locale favorite ou produire des spectacles!

Fan de concerts rock/métal en mode petite salle intimiste/bar, n'hésitez pas! Bonne ambiance et son, super soirée garantie A chaque passage à Montréal, je me fais ce plaisir!

Worse experience at any bar I have ever had. After the bartender messing up my drink twice in a row and not complaining and not giving us the happy hour special price even though we were there during that time. Me and my friends paid and gave a 20% tip in which she came up to us and complained about. Then as we just left she cussed us out the door. After spending a total of over $100 at the place I expected to be treated with more respect especially when you can’t make a simple Jameson and ginger. Seems like a cool place to hang out and listen to music but would absolutely never go again. First negative review and hopefully my last.

Really nice place with a great and fun atmosphere, great music and a lot of fun activities to do with your friends!

Okay so I've been there so many times. Tonight I went and I got a beer the moment I entered I put 20$ i got 2 tremblay which is 10$. Bartender good for her said I didnt pay anything. And I had to pay another 10$ over the 20 I gave.it's sad I really liked this place. Never coming again.

Fun enough alternative bar. The dog was the best! The waitress was pretty rude though and didn't make for the most pleasant experience. It would have been a great place to go back to if the first impression with the staff wasn't so poor.

One of the greatest show bars in Montreal! Always a good time here, foosball, pool, that punching bag game, a cool Aerosmith pinball machine, touchtunes for your favorite songs. And of course all the great bands that play here.

Small crowded but great ambiance. I played with my band up stairs decent set up the loge was a nice touch.

Good gaming machines! Too bad about the men who explain unasked how to punch: - (

Boissons très abordable, la musique est parfois trop fort et les toilettes c'est à vérifier/nettoyer plus souvent.

I love the ambiance of this place but the beer tastes terrible. I think they need to clean the lines. If you come here, beware of the drafts

The bartender spoke a good English, however she was kinda mocking when i asked for an English beer brands.i asked for recommendation and she told me to try one.then i was waiting for almost 8 minutes and told her, sorry but where is my drink? After she was standing doing nothing and chatting.she hit her head and said i forgot and without even saying sorry to me.it wasn't a good experience and i believe customer service a huge value to learn.specially for such a touristic location

Sketchy unless they see you as a regular (as of 4-5 months going there) they make you pay and tip for every drink instead of taking a tab. And they often overcharge for people they expect wouldn't notice. Has a regular following and I wouldn't risk interfering with that unless you want 1 cheap-ish pint

Belle place pour les shows en haut. Le son est bon. Bière ok. Un juke box pour mettre vos chansons en bas

I love this place and have been going for over two years now. Very affordable and good choice of music. The only thing I find disappointing is the fact that we can't seem to order our favorite pitcher anymore. They changed there menu and we can't order fireball and coke anymore. They don't seem to know what it is. Or they try to charge us 40$ when usually our regular barmaid charges us 25.

Très belle soirée nous somme aller voir le band métal Legend c'était excellent et j'avais perdu mon cellulaire et quelqun me l'a donner vraiment un endroit formidable

One of the most enjoyable places in Montréal for a metalhead!

The bar on the ground floor is open everyday, with good music, a fair selection of beers with a good price for downtown!

The counter is a fish tank with real piranhas in it!

Piranha is also a venue for metal concerts. Local names, tribute bands, international musicians pass there often. Every week you have at least a good show to check there.

Service was horrible, the girl at the bar had 0 interest. However I loved the ambience and the choice of music! So I still rate it 4 stars. Only takes cash.

Sympathique comme endroit. Une étoile en moins à cause des rouleaux de papier toilette par terre dans les toilettes des femmes.

Chouette bar, nous y sommes allés pour un show. C’est assez petit quoique chaleureux, mais ils n’acceptent pas les paiements par carte et il n’y avait pas de ATM disponible sur place.

Great staff, great music, they sell art on their walls. I was glad to find a punk vibed bar in the area
