Pius Culinary Institute and Business Centre

It's an okay school, some teachers were good, others made me feel afraid to ask questions. It's my first time doing pastry and you're mad that I don't understand a step the first time around? Administration sucks and if you need clarification you will get ALL CAPS in the replying email, I wanted to continue my studies here and they could not tell me approximately when I could start.

St Pius X Career center and Pius Culinary Institute and Business Centre are actually the same school. You guys should go check out there reviews under there other name.

Poor front office professional skills. I waited in the reception for close to an hour while you hear the receptionists cracking jokes and doing absolutely nothing. As for the Culinary program. I would definitely recommend another school. You’ll be cleaning more dishes and ovens, working on outdated 25+ year equipment than learning recipes, there is only a 2-3 chefs who actually know what they’re talking about and care and prepare you for the industry. Most of the students in this program do this course to become Canadian citizens so there’s not much motivation from the chefs. Go to ITHQ or any other cooking school.

Extremely friendly, organised and efficient administration! I went in to register and was done in under 10 minutes.

The office is highly disorganized.
I had to travle over 60km 4 times and even the day of my class my registration papers were not ready to sign.

I've been trying to get in contact with this school for months now but their contact page always says try again later. @Pius if you're reading this, can you contact me?

Edit: I was looking forward to start a new program at this school but the only thing I got in return was dissapointment. Anyone thinking of going to this school, dont bother.

I wish i could give this place 0 stars. Not normal. Also they NEVER answer their phone. Ive called multiple times for days and never got an answer.

This is the secret gem of Montreal. They open for dinner on Thursdays and Fridays and the food is absolutely sublime. The price is unmatched as well. You pay 26$ for a 6 course meal. Best restaurant I've ever been to in my life, no exaggeration.
