Pizza Giuseppe

Une vraie pizzeria comme je les aimes. Pizzas cuites dans un four au bois.
J'ai mangé la bolongnese, un délice!

Dimanche soir, nous avons dîné au restaurant Giuseppe avec mon conjoint et un couple d'amis. Le restaurant était pratiquement vide, à l'exception d'une autre table pour deux. Nous avons passé commande d'entrées, et pour ma part, j'avais choisi la Bruschetta. Cependant, à ma grande surprise, j'ai reçu un pain à l'ail gratiné avec de la viande hachée. J'ai tenté de signaler l'erreur à la serveuse, (Amanda) mais elle était occupée au téléphone cellulaire. Elle est finalement venue à notre table environ quinze minutes plus tard, et je lui ai expliqué que ce n'était pas le plat que j'avais commandé, à savoir la Bruschetta. Elle a repris l'entrée et m'a affirmé que c'était bien la Bruschetta, puis elle a jeté mon plat.

Le service avait déjà commencé sur une note négative, et la situation ne s'est pas améliorée. Nos plats principaux sont arrivés bien après un long délai, et pas en même temps. En fait, il y avait environ dix minutes d'intervalle entre chaque plat. Les pâtes étaient extrêmement dures et collées ensemble, et la sauce avait un goût qui ressemblait étrangement à du Cheez Whiz. C'était une véritable catastrophe, mais malgré tout, j'ai essayé de profiter de la soirée.

La serveuse n'a pas du tout contribué à améliorer la situation. Elle est revenue à notre table après encore dix minutes, occupée à envoyer des SMS, pour nous apporter du parmesan (Kraft, s'il vous plaît) et du poivre moulu que nous avions demandés. Les mêmes problèmes se sont répétés avec les boissons, avec nos verres restant vides pendant de longues périodes. Nous avions constamment l'impression de la déranger, et la serveuse ne nous a jamais adressé un sourire. Elle ne semblait clairement pas avoir envie d'être là.

En fin de compte, nous quatre partageons le même avis: nous ne retournerons jamais au restaurant Giuseppe. Nous préférons de loin le Bocci de Lasalle, qui est clairement d'une toute autre catégorie en termes de service et de qualité. / /. On Sunday evening, my partner and a couple of friends and I dined at the Giuseppe restaurant. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table for two. We ordered appetizers, and I, in particular, had chosen the Bruschetta. However, to my great surprise, I received garlic bread gratin with minced meat instead. I tried to bring the error to the attention of the waitress, (Amanda) but she was busy on her cell phone. Eventually, she came to our table about fifteen minutes later, and I explained that it was not the dish I had ordered, which was the Bruschetta. She took back the appetizer and insisted that it was indeed Bruschetta, then proceeded to discard my dish.

The service had already started on a negative note, and things didn't improve. Our main dishes arrived well after a long delay and not all at once. There was approximately a ten-minute gap between each dish. The pasta was extremely hard and stuck together, and the sauce had a taste that strangely resembled Cheez Whiz. It was a complete disaster, but I still tried to make the most of the evening.

The waitress did not contribute to improving the situation at all. She returned to our table after another ten minutes, busy texting, to bring us Kraft parmesan and ground pepper that we had requested. The same issues repeated with the drinks, with our glasses remaining empty for extended periods. We constantly felt like a bother, and the waitress never once offered a smile. She clearly did not seem to want to be there.

In the end, the four of us share the same opinion: we will never return to the Giuseppe restaurant. We much prefer Bocci in Lasalle, which is clearly in a completely different category in terms of service and quality.

I’m not sure where’s the 4 stars came from, first all restaurants give free bread but we paid 8$ for a small piece of bread the girl who serve us was on the phone forgetting us, she was like someone forced her to work wait long for the food, food served and we was forgotten never repeat never again.

I saw this place very often while driving my cantine and my wife loves gnocchi and I decided to stop one night and get a birthday dinner from this place and it did not disappoint. The service was super nice from the moment I walked in and watching the gentleman make the pizza and other food in the wood fire oven is great to watch and we had nice conversation with the waitress and pizza maker while waiting for my order and then Giuseppe the owner came in and was very nice. The food is awesome very authentic. I recommend this place to everyone especially the subs with pizza dough.

Apparently, the employees here are absolutely rude. I spoke to John (probably not his name) claiming he was the manager. Absolutely horrendous. Rude and condescending. No care for their customers.

Ordered Linguini Fruti Di Mare with white wine sauce. It was simply awful. Clams and mussels were dry, nothing in them. When I called the restaurant, they told me they were fresh. Maybe but no meat in none of them and 2 shrimps. Maybe the cook doesn't know how to cook them. The white wine sauce was terrible. Will never order from them again

Bad experience in that place the girls was not giving the good service and she ask me to give her a tip that's a big shame.please if you need customers to give tip, is simple give a good service.

I visited Pizza Giuseppe in April, and everything about the meal was amazing. The food was easily the best pizza and best pasta I've ever had, and the service was second to none.

1st time and not my last. Great food, service and prices. Worth our drive from the West Island

Very good authentic Italian pizza, the owner is incredible and friendly, the whole staff is kind and smiles. Very impressed with the food and service. Highly recommend.

Omg, how can staff at a restaurant be this inconsiderate and rude. I would give 0 star if I could. They need to be polite and understand that they are getting paid because customers come and order food.

Best restaurant in Montreal! The pizza and pasta is always so fresh and authentic. Cute little family owned place that always make you feel like you’re at home. The experience is always so pleasant. I love eating here everytime! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
